Sea,Sand,and Death
It all began on a cold winters day. A young devil by the name of Maoh stood outside his parents house, staring at the sky, searching for something. It obviously wasn't somthing very important, because he shook his head, and continued walking down the narrow path to the street. The day had began like any other, but as Maoh would soon find out. That flash in the sky was more than just a satellite.
Maoh was a 16 year old demon with purple hair and green eyes, his parents, both being powerful demons themselves, both have jobs in the human world. And both pester Maoh about not having a girlfriend. That may be why he isn't very happy in their company.
After he finished his daily highschool classes, he headed straight home. But instead of walking through the front door like a average person, he unfurled his blood red demonic wings, (yes, wings)and rose almost silently up the second story window, which he had left open earlier that day.
Even though there wasn't anyone home, upon entering, he proved that it was not only his wings that were eerily quiet. He crept with the utmost silence, around his room looking for some unknown artifact. Then he found what he was looking for, and stood up, clutching it in both his hands and slipped it over his face to reveal a sinister mask.
This mask was the mask he wore along with armored boots, and a bulletproof trench coat when he played vigilante in the city every night. To get away from his parents, and live a thrilling life. But Maoh was the strongest demon to walk earth In over four centuries, which may explain why he was trying to conceal his identity. Not even his parents knew that he was the "Dark Reaper" and Maoh intended to keep it that way.
That night at midnight, after a long day of hunting criminals, Maoh sat, perched on the roof of a twelve story business complex. Thinking to himself. About? I wish I knew. When all of a sudden his world was suddenly pitched upside down, and he found himself deep under water.
As If on instinct, he struggled to get out of his equipment, and coat. And less then a second later, He twisted and started kicking furiously twards the distant light of the sun. It was close, but just as his lungs failed, he breached the water, and gasped for air, treading to stay afloat. Adrenaline burning through his veins, he looked frantically for any sign of land, but he couldn't see anything above the waves. His expression suddenly became determined, and he dove again beneath the surface.
He sank until he figured he was deep enough, then he swam as fast as he could towards the surface, using his wings to propel himself faster. He broke the surface suddenly, and flapped his wings desperately trying to get airborne. But his clothing has absorbed too much water, causing him to collapse back into the water. But his stunt had served Its purpose. He now knew there was an Island a few miles away.
Maoh seemed to be on a tropical island in the middle of nowhere, well, near the equator. After he swam to the island, he found that the island was quite large indeed. And it seemed to be paradise. Which of course disturbed him greatly. Especially after he found a ginormous skeleton of some carnivorous beast.
Surprisingly, the sun was out.( unlike his home country ) but it was sinking fast. This bothered Maoh. But it wasn't because of the dark. He was a demon after all, he could see in the dark as well as the day. But what alarmed him was that almost all monsters were more active at night, which raised his chances of being eaten. And do excuse him for wanting to live.
Anyway, he decided to journey into the extremely dense forest of trees. Most of which did not look native to the island. So he was, ten minutes later surrounded by creachers that resembled wolves, only larger and had poison glands along with all their teeth. As quick as a flash, Maoh leaped streight up, cracking the ground, and soaring up into a tree. He grabbed hold of a thick branch and swung onto it, to out wait the wolf beasts.
Unfortunately, It seemed that they were willing to wait. And it was dusk by the time they finally left. And it was then that Maoh said somthing. "Oh crap, It's night."
The dark was deep and penetrating, impossible to see through for a human, but Maoh of course could see just fine. He unfurled his wings, and proceeded to glide gracefully to the ground, and landed with a soft thump upon the dirt. off he went again, climbing around the enormous roots, that twisted above the ground. Only this time with less cation. Why? Well, a demons instincts are usually suppressed in the day, but a night those instincts reign free. And Maoh was already feeling murdurous.
Now that night had fallen, Maoh really wanted to kill somthing. So he kicked his was through the underbrush calling out, and taunting whatever could be lurking beyond his sight.
Growls and snarling could be heard all around Maoh, but they could sense death, and disappeared rather quickly, for no matter how powerful you are, a pure blood demon would always get you in the end.
By the morning, Maoh breathed a sigh of relief that he had survived the night, and began searching for a place to sleep. He found a hollow tree that looked inhabitable, set up a makeshift bed, and fell into a deep sleep. Perhaps too deep considering his location.

There will be more arriving as I get more time, however, there is the chance that I discontinue it due to lack of activity. Scencerely, the last Knightwalker.
And this is a picture of the ever elusive Maoh. (I drew him in a Neko pullover for some reason )
