Seonghwa

"Oh, hyung. From today onwards, make sure not to fly beyond the tops of the trees."

"Huh? Why?"

"Just promise me this, hyung."

Yeosang is being very mysterious today. Instead of flying to the trees, where he usually is, he heads over to the cliff in the centre of the forest. The cliff where Hongjoong found Mingi and saved Wooyoung. And I only know this because they decided to re-enact the scenes a few weeks back, just to further illustrate the details. They say a picture says a thousand words, but I guess in my case, a theatre show paints a thousand pictures? At least, that's what it felt like. It was... an interesting experience.

As I follow him on the ground, I observe as he swoops around, circling the air a few times before touching base at the edge of the cliff. I walk over and sit next to him, dangling my legs in the air over the rock. I pour his feeder full of bacon bits, and tentatively watch as he devours them, before speaking.

"So, um, what was it that you wanted to tell me about?"

He pauses for a second, then proceeds into his findings.

"The other day, when I was on the tallest tree, a strange occurrence happened with the clouds. They seemed to form a stair-like structure. So, out of curiosity, I flew to it. What I've found out, is that up those cloud stairs, is where you come from, Seonghwa hyung. Not gonna lie, heaven seems like a pretty interesting place. I could make really comfy nests everywhere."

"It isn't so interesting when you've stayed there as long as I have."

"Also true, but that's not the point. I happened to overhear a conversation that you might find rather unusual."

"It's also the reason why I didn't want you near the top of the trees today."
