So, this is our first formal entry. Hi hi hey hey hello! I can't believe you didn't give us a chapter in the first book, author, but it's alright, better late than never.

On that fateful morning, all the inhabitants of the barn were fast asleep. It wasn't until the sunlight shone into the structure did one of them stir. The phoenix on his perch up above the others. Floating down slowly using his wings as a parachute, Yeosang landed gently on the hay-carpeted floor. Deciding to pull a prank to get the others up, he flattened himself to the ground and scurried like a vampire bat would to his prey. In this case, it was the hippogriff.

Shuffling silently over under the barricade and into the other's enclosure, the phoenix stood up and pecked the hippogriff on the leg.

"Oww!"

The screech of alarming pain was loud enough to wake the Pegasus, who was normally a very deep sleeper, and even to scare away the common mynas and pigeons that had been roosting on the roof. Pleased with his doing, Yeosang swiftly flew back to his perch, where he tucked his head under his wing and pretended to be asleep, only just groggily awakening from the terrifying noise.

"Wooyoung!"

The chorus came from the other three. "Did you have to scream like that?" "We were all having such a good rest..."

The hippogriff sulked. "Something poked me," he fired back, glaring up at the ceiling. "I bet it was Yeosang. Only he always does things like that to me."

"Who, me?" Yeosang stretched his wings. "I just woke up, Woo. How could it be me? Besides, Sangie has morals, he won't do something despicable like that."

"Don't be fooled by his innocent eyes!"

"What innocent eyes?" The phoenix simpered, eyes shining brightly from the sunlight as he blinked.

"What the- You know what, I don't care anymore." Wooyoung tumbled to the floor in an ungraceful attempt at being dramatic.

The residents of the barn paced around sullenly, waiting for their breakfast, which even after an hour, had not arrived. "What's taking so long?" "Maybe they forgot about us!" "How dare they!" "Sangie go unlock the door." "You got it boss!"

As they ran out into the sunshine, they all knew what each other were thinking. "Why didn't we escape more often?" But that moment was soon lost as they ran for the house, and rammed straight into the door.
