Chapter 9: As the World Falls Down

"Jack... I see the castle! Yes, we're almost there." I say my heart leaping with joy. I was so close to Anna I could feel it, just a few more minutes. I turn around with a smile on my face to see that Jack wasn't behind me anymore. "Jack?" My smile leaving my face, where did he go? I start to walk back to the last time I saw him when I feel a hand touch my shoulder making me jump. "Who are you looking for?" I hear as I turn around to see Jack smiling at me but... something was off. "Where did you go?" I ask. "Sorry, I heard a noise; I wanted to make sure nothing was following us." He says and takes my hand, but I pull it back, "What are you doing?" "I'm sorry are we not in that part of the relationship yet?" He asks and gives me a smirk.

I raise an eyebrow at him, "Did you hit your head back there or something?" I ask and raise my hand to his forehead and move away his bangs, it was stupid to touch him because it just made my heart beat out of my chest, and I know I was support to be mad at him but... I couldn't help it and he was right, I couldn't hide my feelings for him. "What are you doing?" He asks as I rest the back of my hand on his forehead, "Seeing if you're warm, because something is wrong with you." I ask which makes Jack laugh.

"I'm only hot because of you." He says with a wink making me pull my hand back. "Okay... You know what you're acting like your darker side, and I don't know why but I'm just going to push past it because we're close to the castle which means we're close to my sister." I say which makes Jack's widen but they quickly went back to normal before I could even ask why he was acting so surprised. I start to walk forward again, the faster we get going, the faster we get to Anna. I can hear Jack's footsteps behind me as he follows me, I can't explain why I thinking something was wrong with Jack, but I knew something was. The way he was making me feel was just like his dark side makes me feel, scared and nervous at the same time.

I look behind me to see him looking at me with hunger eyes. "Why are you looking at me like that?" I ask as I turn around and walk backwards so I can keep an eye on him. "Like what?" He asks with a smirk. "Like you want to attack me." I say as I stop so he has to stop in front of me. I watch him closely and I swear I saw him lick his lips but I couldn't tell if I was making it up or not. "Maybe it's because I do want to attack you." He says and steps closer. I was frozen on the spot, it was like I was under his control but at the same time, I knew I could move my feet. He just stares at me then laughs, "I'm kidding Elsa, I was thinking of a plan." I let out my breath and covered my heart, "A plan?" "Well, I have to think of plan to get us inside which my brother finding us, right?" He says and moves close to me. "I... I guess..." I say feeling the words get stuck in my throat, he was making me nervous, in more ways than one.

"You know... I've been thinking about what you said, about me not telling the truth." He says and moves his hand down my arm. I'm watching his hand going down my arm and I tried to hold back the shiver I had but... I knew he was going to see it. "And I'm sorry." He says which makes me look at him, "What did you say?" I see that smirk go back on his face, "I said, I'm sorry. I'm sorry I didn't tell you about Blaise, about everything. I really was trying to protect you and I guess... I hurt you instead." He says as he puts his hands around my waist and pulls me closer.

"I care for you Elsa, you mean, so much to me." He says in a whisper as he starts to twist one of my hairs around his finger. "Jack..." I whisper, I know I wasn't under his control, but he made me feel, safe. I feel his hands let go of my hair as he digs something out form his pocket, "I bought this back a while ago, and I thought I would find someone to give it to, someone I care for." He says as he holds up this beautiful ring. It had a blue crystal in the middle and it was hypnotic to me, I couldn't stop staring at it.

"I think you're that person to me, Elsa." He whispers as he takes my hand. "I love you." He whispers ever lower as he slips the ring on my finger and let's goes of my hand. Suddenly, I see the world around me start to spin and fall, my eyes not working for me anymore. I put one of my hands on my head and back up. "I feel strange... Something's wrong..." I say slowly as I look at Jack, but he has this evil smile on his face as he watches me. "What... What did you...? Do?" I ask as I feel my legs start to give out, it almost felt like I was drunk I couldn't think or walk straight. "Everything is dancing..." I say almost falling.

"Don't worry Elsa." I hear as Jack stands in front of me looking at me. "The fall won't kill you." He says as he pushes me and I feel myself fall into a deep dark hole, the world around me falling down.

I open my eyes to see I'm in a ballroom, filled with people dancing wearing masks. I look down at myself to see I'm in a long white ball grown and my hair is fixed up with ribbon. I don't remember where I am, or what was going on but I just start to walk. I look at all the happy people dance and enjoy themselves as I am being pulled by something. I turn my eyes to see a boy in the corner wearing a strange mask. He takes the mask off and I see a boy with shaggy snow blonde hair and deep blue eyes looking at me. I step forward to him but someone steps in front of me as I finally make him more, I see that his gone.

There's such a sad love, deep in your eyes. A kind of pale jewel open and closed, within your eyes. I'll place the sky, within your eyes.

I start to search the room looking for him, I was drawn to him. I start to push through people looking for my lost prince.

There's such a fooled heart, beatin' so fast in search of new dreams. A love that will last, within your heart. I'll place the moon, within your heart.

The more I look, the more confused I got, and I could feel people's eyes on me. I keep walking but I keep having people push me and pull me in different directions.

As the pain sweeps through, makes no sense for you. Every thrill is gone. Wasn't too much fun at all, but I'll be there for you, as the world falls down.

I turn around to see a creature jump out at me which made me jump back. I hear laughing as I see that it's a doll that one of the party goers was messing with. I step back and start to walk away pushing people out of my way; I just wanted to leave now. As I turn, I ran right into my run away prince. He takes my hands and starts to spin me around.

I'll paint you mornings of gold. I'll spin you Valentine evenings. Though we're strangers 'til now, we're choosing the path between the stars. I'll leave my love between the stars.

My prince was singing to me, his voice soft and sweet making me fall in love with him fast and hard. Everywhere around me is disappearing but my prince and I.

As the pain sweeps through, make no sense for you. Every thrill is gone, wasn't too much fun at all, but I'll be there for you, as the world falls down.

My prince spins me around and once I spin back to him, I see that my prince is gone and replaced is Blaise. His dark eyes looking at me as I push him away and back up, he just stands there a smile on his face. I feel everyone grab me and pull me trying to make me stay. I finally push through them and run; I look behind me to see Blaise standing laughing at me, two girls around him one girl looked like me but with long strawberry blonde hair and different color eyes.

I turn back in front and run to a mirror. I stop and look at the mirror and then look around till I find a chair. I grab it before anyone could touch me again and I smash the mirror. I through the chair and step in to feel myself falling into darkness.

300 readers!!! Hey guys! Super late update I know but I got a short chapter done. Sorry I know it's super short but that's all I could work on before it got too late. The dress I was using for Elsa for the ballroom is the dress that the lovely Sarah is wearing in the video, but I didn't know how to get in to much details on it so I am sorry for that. And I'm sorry but I didn't have time to read anything either so no books today. I am saying sorry a lot tonight. Anyways, this chapter was way to much fun and hard to write it took me forever to figure out who I was going to start it and how to get the ring idea to work. I feel it isn't the best chapter but whatever I had fun writing it! So if you guys like it, please leave me some comments or votes if you're feeling very nice.
