Chapter 50 - 'The Date' pt. 1

The me of Three months ago would have found Kai's glare annoying,  irritating and all syllables related to that, but none of those words were in my line of thought as I watch Jongin glare at Baekhyun whose hands were wrapped firmly around my shoulders with a smile on his face as he rambled on how he's never imagined seeing us calmly seating together without putting up a fight, not seeing the heavy glare boyfriend dearest was sending him.

Even though I'm fully aware of how Baek's arm around my shoulders was greatly irritating Jongin, I still sipped on my coffee, slyly stealing glances at Jongin whose glare only looked adorable to me.

I almost laughed at Jongin's face when Baek's hand left my shoulders to mindlessly twirl the lose strands of my hair.

He was silently growling at Baekhyun who in turn was oblivious to Jongin's hard glares.

It was when Jongin's gaze landed on me and he caught me biting my lips to stop myself from laughing and he narrowed his eyes at me that I decided to stop teasing him.

"So why are you here?" I dropped my mug and moved a bit away from Baek's hand.

"Punishment." He noticed my subtle movement and raised his brows at me. I shrugged my shoulders and turned to Kai who looked like he was taking deep breaths to calm him self from from exploding. Baekhyun noticed this and burst out in laughter.

"Wow Jongin. You two haven't even dated for up to a week yet and you're already becoming a jealous boyfriend." He teased. I smiled a little while Jongin on the other hand was giving Baekhyun a 'you'reLuckyILoveYouHyungIfNotYou'dBeDeadRightNow' Look. 

"Hee-Hee, Your boyfriend is quite scary!" Baekhyun exclaimed with a fake look of shock on his face. His eyes sparkled in glee and the next thing I know, his hands were wrapping itself back around my shoulders again.

This time Jongin didn't silently watch,  he stood up with a heavy glare and pried Baek's hands away from my shoulders with a snarl, "Hands off my girlfriend dude."

Baek and I couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation.

"Fine Fine," Baekhyun raised his hands up in defeat seeing the serious look on Kai's face. "She's all yours dude, All yours." Before moving a seat away from me.

I turned towards Jongin whose gaze was hard on the floor and grabbed his hands. I felt him shiver before he looked up and met my gaze. I gave him a small smile while drawing light circles on his palm. "Its okay Babe, Baekhyun and I were just messing with you." I cooed ignoring the fake gaging sound that was coming from the boy beside me.

His gaze softened along with his tensed body which relaxed. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath grasping my hands tightly.

When he opened them again, he smiled at me before turning towards Baekhyun,"I'm sorry hyung."

And that was all that was needed to get the mood back again.

"So why particularly are you here on a Thursday morning?" I asked impassively while looking questionly at Jongin whose hands were resting on my thighs.

He gave me a sheepish smile not even making an attempt to pull his hands away. I rolled my eyes at him, ignoring the zoo of butterflies that were dancing around in my stomach plus the tingling sensations his hands were giving to me and turned to Baekhyun who's eyes were narrowly glancing at us, "you know," He trailed off looking forth at Kai and I, "....It still feels weird seeing both of you....together." He ended eyes on Kai's hands on my Thighs.

"You'll get used to it." Kai answered while I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah I guess."

"Yeah so what brought you here hyung?"

"I'm working here duh!" Baekhyun exclaimed pointing at the apron which I hadn't noticed he was with.

"Oh." I murmured seemly realizing I hadn't probably noticed him properly,  considering the fact that his gray hair was tied up in a bun(idk why) and he was in fact wearing what the male workers of star cafe wears on a daily basis. But the question was..why was he working?.

I mean we were giving instructions to give VVIP treatments to ALL the EXO members at all cost, irrespective of who They were with. So why the hell is a VVIP working?. No matter how I think about it, it doesn't seem right.....

"Working? Why?" Jongin asked seemly taking the words off my mouth. I watched Baekhyun rubbed the back of his neck with a sheepish smile. Unless.... He must have done something wrong—again.

"Hyung! What did you do this time?" Jongin asked exasperatedly. Baekhyun let out a nervous chuckle at that, "we uhm, haha.... We Kind of broke Xiumin hyung's favourite mug Last night—"

"We?!" Jongin and I asked at the same time. Noticing this, we turned to each other and smiled.

"Yes we," Baekhyun answered snapping our gazes away from each other to face him. "... as in Myself, Chanyeol - who, mind you is not yet here - and—, "

"Hey guys!" He was cut off by the way too familiar voice of Jongdae, who by the way has plumped him self beside Jongin and was smiling gleefully at us.

"—him." Baekhyun added with a roll of eyes.

I rolled my eyes at Chen's direction. Of course he'd be in it. There's no way he would exempted. Just No, its impossible. Well unless He's sick.

"Watsup Kai!" Chen bro fisted with Kai who actually looked quite happy to see him before turning to me with his famous stretched lip smile, "Hello Hee-Hee." He greeted.

I rolled my eyes at the absurd nickname which I don't know how or why they gave me that. I. Mean I can manage Chanyeol's Jay or Jin or Her but Hee-Hee is kind of....

"The beagles has decided, after a thorough meeting that we'll start calling you that." Chanyeol who suddenly appeared beside me and wrapped his arms around my shoulders scared the shit out of me as his loud deep voice echoed in to my ear drums.

"Gah! Yeolie you scared me!" I exclaimed clutching my shirt, but the latter didn't even mind the sudden heart attack that he almost gave me and smiled at me.

"Hello J or should I say, Hee-Hee now?" I was glaring at the older male who was in turn was smiling at me when a loud cough snapped us out of our trance.

"Boyfriend alert!" Baekhyun shouted.

I looked towards Kai who seemed to have been the one who coughed to see him glaring at Chanyeol's arm that was around my shoulders.

"Boyfriend?!" Chanyeol removed his hands and turned to Baekhyun not seeing the look Kai was giving him.

"Yes Boyfriend." Kai sternly spoke and I couldn't help but smile.  "And Mister Park you should move 5 feet away from my girlfriend this instant, before I go Kim Jongin mode on you."

The serious look on his face made Chen and Chanyeol shudder while Baek and I smiled. My boyfriend can be over adorable at times.

"Sheez that was scary Kai," Chen spoke after a moment. Kai rolled his eyes and gestures with his Jaw for Yeol to move his hands away.

"But seriously dude when did this happen?" Chanyeol asked moving closer to eat my cake which Baekhyun has been eating for a while now.

"The night we last went to the Gym together." Baekhyun answered.

I widened my eyes at this information, H-How?.

"Just a guess."Baekhyun shrugged gobbling a piece of my cake.

"Ha! Yoda you owe Baek and I 700,000 Won each!" Chen exclaimed shoving his opened palms towards Chanyeol's Face, "Come on bro your phone so I can transfer it to my account immediately!"

Chanyeol groaned before handing his phone to Chen who happily typed in whatever he was typing.

"If we had know Baek,we would have made it a million won." Chen hissed in disappointed while baek Nodded his head as he collected Chanyeol phone and typed in some numbers. Chanyeol couldn't do anything but sigh.

I questionly turned to Kai who only shrugged in response. I had an inkling on what all this was about but I didn't want to make it my business so I kept quiet.

The rest of the morning went on like that. The boys were discussing about where they were going to spend their Christmas holidays and How they were going to attend a Christmas ball they were invited to while I sat there thinking of what to get as Christmas gift for all of them. Christmas wasn't until a few days but still I should start planing on what to get for them. I should probably get Luhan that Hover board I promised him, and Sehun.. What should I get for him? I'll think about it later.

"Kai Have you told the rest of the guys about you and J?" Chanyeol's deep voice snapped me out of my thoughts. I Look towards Kai to see him staring at me. "No. But please don't tell anybody yet. We want to be the ones to break the news out to them."

"Wait," Baekhyun started, "so we're like the first ones to know about this?"

"Yes,Sadly." Kai answered with a sigh, "you weren't even supposed to know but oh well your luck." He clicked his tongue in a teasing motion.

"Yah! What do you mean by 'sadly' Huh?!" Baekhyun moved over the table and hit the Jongin's head playfully, "you both should be glad we were the ones that saw you first. Just imagine of it were suho hyung or Xiumin. Hah! You'd be in trouble for not telling them!"

"Ow! ow! Hyung!" I couldn't help but smile as Kai whimpered in pain with Baekhyun's constant hits on his head.

"So even Sehun doesn't know about this?" Chen asks after a while.

I turned to Jongin curiously, I mean they're best friends right? And best friends tell each other about everything and anything. Well unless—.

"He does kinda." Jongin scratched the back of his head in embarrassment, "He kind of figured it out by himself."

"Oh wow" Chen smiled and ruffled Kai's hair... "Then fear not Nini! Your secret is safe with us." Then he winked at me.

"Yah, its not a secret!" Kai tried to defend himself but the guys weren't in the mood to listen to him. They ignored him and continued talking about the Christmas ball.

Just like that, the rest of the morning went by. The beagle line were arguing seriously about Nonsense things with Jongin in the middle acting as a referee while I on the other hand was sitting quietly while eating bits after bits of my replaced Cake. I wasn't in the mood to talk and for some weird reasons, I was unhappy. 

This day was supposed to be OUR Day. Not like I don't like being with the beagles but its just that, Ugh! What am I even saying? I must be going crazy.

My eyes glazed to Jongin to find out that he's already looking at me. I forced out a smile to which he returned With a raised brow.

He must have noticed my change of mood cause the next thing i know, He was holding my hands pulling me out of the cafe while muttering A goodbye to The beagles who were Making weird noises. I turned towards them as Kai dragged me out of the cafe and waved with a forced smile.

"Be safe you two!"

"Don't do anything that your parents wouldn't approve of!"

These Were the last words I heard From the Boys before I was brought out into the cold morning of Seoul.

I was silent all through Jongin's pulling. He stopped in front of his Bike with his back facing me and Sighed. I quietly let go of his hands and attached mine into my coat's pocket.

I looked up at Jongin's whose back was facing me and sighed.

"Why are we–"

"I'm sorry." This surely caught me off guard.

"F-for w–?" I choked out. Raising my left brows as he grabbed my hand and intertwined it with his own.

"Kai?"I called out when he didn't answer me. He was staring intently at the floor. He let out a sigh and raked his hair with his free hand before turning his gaze back on Me.

"I'm sorry okay. I really am," I opened my mouth to ask him what he was  sorry for but he cut me off,

"This was supposed to be just our day but," He closed his eyes and took a deep breath , "I ruined it. I'm Sorry Babe"

"Its okay—," I tried reassuring him in the calmest way I could.

"No its Not Okay. Jihyun told me that this is your first date and I planned everything to make it the best but I.... The hyungs... I....I'm sorry."

"Hey its okay. Stop apologizing okay?," I grasped his chin up and made him look up at me, "Who told you I want a grand date huh? I just us to be Alone." I grabbed his other hand and wrapped them around my waist. He was staring intently at me.

"I just want today to be Just about us. Just Me and You. Heck if I had a say in this whole date thing,I would have suggested the date to be in your house." I wrapped my arms around his waist and looked up at him, "We can cuddle all day and watch TV or we can stay in each others Embrace and talk about everything and nothing. That alone would be a perfect date for me hmm?" I pecked his Jaw but didn't get any reaction from him.

"I just want all Your attention to be on me today... I guess." 

"Hmm... Am I asking for too much?" I looked up at him,waiting for Him to say something but he kept on staring at me. I was getting nervous, did I say  something wrong?.

After a few minutes of us staring at each other, he broke into a smile. I Let out the breath i hadn't know I was holding in relief.

Before I could ask him what he was smiling at,he leaned down and kissed me.  My eyes immediately fluttered shut and I kissed him back. He licked the seam of my lips and I immediately parted my lips to give him access.

The kiss was slow and passionate and I was losing it. My whole body got weak as Jongin moved his body very close to Mine. My brain was in chaos and my knee were so close to buckling.

It was as if Jongin noticed this cause I felt him smile in between the kiss before he Wrapped his arms tightly around my waist and pressed me further into his body.

I was getting Dizzy with all the feels. It was becoming so much more overwhelming and I was losing my breath but I didn't want him to stop. I didn't want to stop entirely.

Jongin's Kisses has that one of a kind effect on me. So... Overwhelming and... Unexplainable.

When we couldn't hold in our breaths any longer, We pulled away. Our foreheads resting against each others as we stared deeply at each other's eyes. Jongin was breathing heavily and I was same as him.

"How did I get so lucky?" He mumbled in a low voice sending all length of shivers all around my body. His gaze on me was alluring and inviting, it was making me feel all kinds of emotions.

"I wonder the same."

He gave his million dollar smile and moved backwards a bit so he was seating halfway on his bike while pulling me to stand in between his legs. I moved my arms from his waist to run through his hair.

He sighed in content and leaned down to peck the side of my lips. My whole body was trembling under his touch and I guess he noticed this cause he held me tighter before moving upwards to Peck my lips.

"We can still do that."

"Do what?" I questioned, brows raised in exaggeration.

"Your Date."

"Oh," I mumbled. "So are we going back home?"

"Nope." He picked up the helmet and secured it carefully on my head. "We're doing that date but not at my apartment." He stood up and picked up his own helmet.

"Hop on, Let's Go somewhere."

"Where?" I couldn't help but ask seeing the wide grin on his face.

He turned around and kissed my lips one last time before turning on the ignition of his bike with a smile,

"You'll see."

*waves from my lil rabbit hole* heyyyy.... Missed me?  :( I'm so sorry for updating so lateee Queens... I was having  a slight Writer's block  For all my stories. But don't worry Queens! Cuz I'm back with Great ideas for this book! Hopefully I'll get the strength to type them in... Cause laziness is starting to be my partner in crime hehe ;).
