Chapter 35 - “You're riding with me”

Jin Hee's POV

I could hear my heart breaking literally as I walked back towards the class.

The images of The scene I just witnessed few minutes ago was stuck in my mind and head. Tears were threatening to fall but I held them back.

Don't Fucking cry for him again JinHee. He isn't worth it.

I nodded and moved into the class where Sehun and Chanyeol were sitting on my seat with a smiles on their faces.

I was moving towards them when someone draped their arms around my shoulders.

I looked up at the person and Saw Luhan looking at me with a small smile.

"Hey Damsel"

The rest of the days after that were a blur.

I avoided Jongin like a plague and the rest of the guys seemed to notice.

He tried talking to me but I always ignore or walk past him whenever he tries to speak.

He probably wants to explain his reasons for not meeting up with me that day but I didn't want to hear his Explanation.

I was mad at him and myself.

Mad at him for allowing a girl to kiss him and mad at my self for being mad at him.

It didn't make any sense to me any longer but I knew I was Annoyed and angry.

I wanted to shout out my frustrations to the world that the first guy I like can't return my feelings but that would be insane.

I composed my self and pretended that all was okay even though it wasn't.

It isn't the end of the world Jin Hee. You'll move on. I told my self.

And that was what I did.

Move on.

Or at least that what I'm trying to do.

Its hard especially when the person you're trying to move on from is literally everywhere near you.

I tried switching seats with Kyungsoo but Homeroom teacher wasn't okay with that so I went back. He Says it'll ruin the order they had planned the Exams to go in.

With an annoyed mind, I rolled my eyes and moved back to the seat.

Sehun was looking at Me questionly but I just shook my head at him.

He won't understand.

This went on for about two weeks until it was the final day of school.

Even though it was still 8:30 am in the morning, the school was rowdy. Students filled the hallways in groups of fours and Six as they whined on how they were going to miss each other.

The loners or what they call nerds were just standing at a corner watching all the students hug their friends good bye.

Couples were kissing as if it was their last. As if they weren't going to see each other for ever.

The boys and tomboys were bro- fisting and planing what they were going to do during the holidays.

The girls were planing on what they were going to wear to a party that was going to be held on the 30th of the month.

In which the celebrant which was a friend to the Exo boys. Taehyung if I remember clearly was his name. He had invited everyone to his 17th birthday party that was going to be held at his house two weeks from now. And apparently the whole school is hyped up for that party.

Like come on its just a birthday party for God sake!

I rolled my eyes as I walked past girls that were discussing their plans for the hot party.

Everybody was busy talking to their friends.

And then there's me- walking lifelessly towards the class with my hair up in a messy bun.  I had slept really late last night and now its taking a toll on Me this morning.

The text message I got yesterday from Kai was what kept me up.

"I'm Sorry " was all he said.

It was a short message but it was still heavy to keep me up all through the night.

What was he sorry about? Was all I was thinking.

Was it about me waiting for him or was it about something else?.

Does he know I saw him kissing that girl?--- okay maybe he wasn't the one that initiated the kiss but all the same.

They still Kissed. 

I know he probably knows that I was avoiding him and maybe he thought about it and he felt sorry that he needed to apologize.

Or was it because the guys were pressuring him to?.

These thoughts were running through my mind last night hence the sole reason when I couldn't get an ounce of sleep last night.

It was when I heard my alarm ringing this morning that I snapped out of my thoughts and got ready for school.

I had applied concealer to hide my eye bags which were larger than Tao's. As I didn't want Jihyun to worry and also the guys to ask me questions so I had to.

I moved towards the class and opened the door. The guys were all sitting down on the chairs laughing to something.

A smile crept on my lips as I watch them. If I were to ask a friendship that Is pure goals, I wouldn't waste time to talk about the boys.

The way they care and support each other is what makes them special. The stupid jokes they share, the countless teasings from the beagles and sometimes the maknae, the heartfelt laughs that escapes their mouths whenever someone cracks a joke is heart warming.

I stood there for a few minutes watching them but none of them seemed to notice I was there.

It was when Class rep that was writing something on her notebook- probably a report looked up and saw me that she asked what I was standing there for that they noticed I was there.

I did a small wave at the her to which she returned with a smile.

She's the only girl in my class that doesn't go Fangirl mode whenever the boys are around. She has a crush on One of the boys that she didn't want to tell Me about but I'm guessing its Kris cause whenever he's talking to her as the boys are friendly with her, she blushes.  But too bad Kris already has a girl crush.

"Hello" she said and got back to writing on her notebook.

"Hey "

"Hello"

"Hi"

The boys greeted as I sat down beside Luhan who greeted me with a smile.

"Hey guys. Whatcha doin?" I said and swatted Sehun's hands that were trying to ruffle my hair. "Stop doing that!" I whined but it fell on deaf ears.

He continued and we ended up having a pushing and pulling competition which Chanyeol and Baekhyun joined in.

"That looks Fun" Chen muttered as he joined in the "Let's ruffle Jin Hee's hair game"

The rest of the guys weren't even bothered to stop them, they were just watching me try to save my hair with smiles on their faces.

It was when I abruptly shouted an "ow my head" that they stopped and looked at me guiltily.

"Sorry" Sehun that was sitting across from me said as used his hands to arrange my hair that had turn into a hay stack.

"You look ridiculous haha" Luhan teased beside me. I turned and glared at him with my hands in a fist.

"Sorry Sorry, you still look hot with your hay stack of a hair damsel" he  mused as he patted down my flying hair.

Sehun scooted towards my left and Rubbed my shoulders.

He loosened the almost loosed bun and used his fingers to brush it down. When he was done he and Luhan tied it back in what looked like a ponytail.

All these was done as Suho talked on how they were going to spend their holidays.

"There. done" Sehun said as he gave my hair a last pat. I turned towards the both of them that were looking at their work with proud smiles on their faces and gave them kisses on their cheeks.

They had an amused grin on their faces as I did this.

"Not fair! I want a kiss too" Tao whined interrupting Suho from listing the parties they had to attend next week.

"Me too!" Baek added.

"Me three!" Chen added.

"Me four!" Chanyeol joined as they all surrounded me.

I rolled my eyes and gave each of them two kisses on each of their cheeks.

"There. happy now?" I asked Tao who the last person to be kissed.

"Very" Baek said as he looked at the direction of Kai and D.O with a teasing grin.

I looked towards Where Kai was sitting with D.O and saw him frowning.

He had a scowl on his face as he looked at me hands that were cupping Tao's cheek and back at me with his Jaw and Fist were clenched.

He looked mad but why?.

"what's wrong with him?" I asked Luhan softly.

Ever since that Day Luhan came to visit Me, we've gotten utterly close. Like he's the closest person to me after Sehun. We bonded and I found out that he was a playboy hence the reason why he knows many pick up lines.

We hung out many times after that day,  and I got to know more about him.

The guys were confused as to how close Luhan and I had suddenly became so close but they didn't question it.

Sehun on the other hand was whining on how I was going to replace him with Luhan but I had reassured him that he's still going to be my favourite member and he cheered. Luhan had rolled his eyes at him that day with a childish pout but we pretended as if we didn't see it.

"Haha, you'll know soon " he said as he placed his head on my shoulders.

I looked at Kai one last time and gulped as his strong gaze drew me in. His brown chocolate eyes were hypnotizing me. They were calm yet angry at the same time.

  He looked at me with Sad eyes, eyes that spoke longing, he was looking at me as if he was sending me a message through his eyes.

I wanted to just move towards him and wrap my arms around him in a comforting hug but I remembered he wasn't mine and moreover I'm still mad at him for making me wait for two hours plus kissing that girl.

I had an inkling of what he was trying to convey to Me through his eyes but I didn't want to assume so I blinked and looked away.

You're getting over him JinHee. Don't screw that up.

The ball rang and we all moved to the auditorium where the Principal was going to address us. Same with the Student council's president.

"Hey you're going home with us right?" Xiumin that was sitting beside me asked as the principal's secretary was giving a speech. She told us that the Principal was still on his vacation,  So she's giving the closing speech on his behalf.

"Yeah we're going to Suho's house right? " I asked him as I clapped for Suho that was making his way to the podium for his speech.

"Yeah" he replied and we focused on Junmyeon that was addressing the students.

"So who am I riding with?" I asked the guys.

We are currently in the school's parking lot as we plan to pursue our plans of having a mini party in Suho's house.

"I dunno. My car is filled with presents from our fans" Kris said as he gestured at the back seat of his Mercedes Benz that was filled with early Christmas present from their fans. Same with the the trunk and front seat.

"And its only Suho and Minseok hyung that brought their cars" he added.

I looked at them and they had a apologetic looks on their faces.

The boys except from Kris Xiumin and Suho had come to school with their chauffeurs this morning as they all knew they were going to Suho house after school.
The original plan was for some of them to ride in Kris's car but they received a lot of gifts from their fans and they couldn't live it in school seeing as its the last day of school so they had to Use his car as the storage house until they sort out to whom each present was administered to. 

Xiumin's range rover was full same with Suho's.

"I can drop some of you off and come back later for the rest" Xiumin suggested.

"No. That'll be stressful. Don't worry give me your address, I'll just take a cab" I reasoned. 

The boys were looking at me with disapproving glazes.

"Yeah right"Sehun said with a roll of eyes.

"I can just call my driver to come here and pick some of us up" he suggested.

"Or She can just ride with Kai" Luhan added as he looked at Kai that was putting on his helmet. Not even interested in what was happening.

"Yeah right" I said with a roll of eyes.

"That's actually a good idea!" Sehun beamed and the rest of the guys nodded.

"No"

"Jongin!" Suho called. He looked at him with a raised brow. "You're in charge of JinHee" he added.

"No please " I beg softly. "I can just take a fucking cab"

"What?" Jongin asked as he eyed all of them.

Suho repeated what he said earlier. "You're in charge of taking JinHee home"

"Why?" He asked.

"What do you mean why?" Kris asked from the driver's seat of his car.

The rest of the guys were all watching from the passenger seats of the two cars.

"The whole car's filled up and we don't want her to take a cab so ride with her on your bike" Suho explained but I was too unfocused to see Kai's expression.

I eye pleaded with Sehun but he sent me a grin.

"Luhan?"

The said person just wriggled his brows at me.

"Just go with him JinHee" Suho said as he slid into the driver's seat of the car and closed the door.

The guys on Xiumin's car all gave me a wave with smiles on their faces as they wind up the windows.

Kris was the first to leave followed by Xiumin.

Suho who was the carrying Sehun in the front seat, Luhan, Baekhyun and Chen at the back stopped in front of me.

"Please?" I begged for the last time.

"Bye" Sehun waved as he winded up the window's glass.

Suho shook his head and drove away.

"Be safe you too!" Baekhyun shouted.

I rolled my eyes and suddenly prayed for the ground to open up and swallow.

My plans of avoiding him has shattered. I can't even believe this.

This is insane.

I turned around slowly and saw him looking at me with a smirk that didn't fail to make my heart race.

He looked at me for a while before bringing out the other helmet.

"So....... you're riding with me"

It wasn't a question. He was rubbing it on my face.

Someone please kill me already.
