Kai's POV
"Ugh I'm bored" I mumbled under my breath.

I'm home alone-well that's not new but you know what I mean.

"Maybe I should go out"

Standing up from the couch in which I was lying on in my living room, I made my way up to my room to change.

I was about to open the door to my room when my phone rang.

I ran- no jumped down the stairs back to the couch where my phone was and picked it up.

"Best<3 calling", I saw on the screen.

With a grin I accepted the call and hollered "Eomma!!"

"Hello baby, how are you?"

"Baby? Mom how many times have I told you to stop calling me a baby? I'm a grown up for Christ sake" I whined.

"You're grown up now doesn't mean that you're no longer my baby" she said with a chuckle, "you'll continue being my baby until you get a girlfriend that will call you that" She added.

"Girlfriend?! Eomma! Don't be ridiculous" I said with a grin, I could hear he laughing her heart out.

"Yeah girlfriend" she answered."So until then you're my baby"

"Whatever Mom, why did you call?" I asked trying to sound annoyed but I still couldn't stop the grin that was tugging on my lips.

"Do I need a reason to call my baby?" She asked.

"Mom!! Stop please, God please don't call me 'baby' in front of my friends, no please don't call me that in front of anybody please" I cringed imagining the teasing smiles and Talks I'll get from the hyungs and sehun if they find out that my mom still calls me a baby.

"Hahaha, I won't make any promises" she said."How are your friends?, it's been long I saw them, how is hunnie? Is Chen Chanyeol and baek still trolling? Is Suho still the Student council's president? Did Chanyeol like my gift? Is Tao still afraid of cockroaches?Is D.O still taking cooking classes? Is Kris still single? What of Luhan? Do you guys still hang out together?  Are they all alright?" She asked with a curious tone.

"Mom, I thought you called because you missed me, why are you asking of my friends when you didn't even ask how I've been doing?" I asked with a sad pout and an eye roll.

Typical my Mom, asking about my friends well being first before mine.

Well I don't blame her, she sees all of them as her own children, and its not only her Though, Sehun also whines to me about how his mom always asks of me and the hyungs whenever she calls. What can I say, we're like family to each other.

"Are you jealous Jonginine? Tch who told you not to come visit me? If you had visited me I wouldn't have asked about your friends first"she answered with a scoff, I can imagine her rolling her eyes.

"Mom, how many times do we have to talk about this?you know exactly why I don't visit you at home" I said passively.

I knew this was going to happen.

"I know but can't you come home at least for once?"

"Mom---"

"For me?"

"Mom please"

"Just once?"

"Mom please don't do this"

"Jong-In I've missed seeing you at home, I've missed cooking for you, baby I've missed watching you practice your dance, I've missed watching you play games with Sehun and the rest of the guys in the game room, I miss you Jongin, please come home for me, just once ne?" She asked sobbing.

"Mom stop crying please?" I begged.

I hate seeing my mom cry especially when I'm the cause.

"I'll stop if you promise me that you'll come visit me at home" She answered while sniffing back her tears.

"Mom you know I can't do that" I reasoned.

"Jongin--"

"You alone should know that house brings me bad memories mom, memories that I want to forget, memories that I've been trying to get out of my head, so please stop asking me to come to that house"

"You can come visit me here if you want or we can meet somewhere else, just please Don't ask me to come there ne? Please Mom? Please?" I begged swallowing back the lump that has formed in my throat.

"So please mom stop crying okay"

"Okay but promise me that when I make a reservation for a place for us to meet that you'll come"

Ugh I know mom will go extra on this but I don't have any choice now do I?

"Sure mom I promise. Just don't go overboard" I answered remembering the last time my mom had mad a reservation for our 'date', she rented the whole floor of a restaurant just for the both of us an when I asked her why she did that she answered me with a "its none of your business, just sit down let's eat" that had made me shut up.

"I'll do whatever I want Jong-In, your own is just for you to come" she said with a tone I have learnt not to question.

"Okay Mom Thank you!!" I shouted  breathing out in relief that the emo moments have passed.

"Ne take care of your self, I'll come visit you when I get back from busan"

"You're in busan now?"

"Yes, sorry I forgot to tell you"

"Its okay mom just take care okay"

"Ne, and tell the guys to call me later when you're all together, a video call will do, tell them that I miss them too".

"Okay will do"

"Take care of you're self baby, got to go, Love you muah"

"Love you too mom"

"Bye" she said before she hanged up.

"I miss you too mom, I miss your cookings, I miss dancing for you, I miss whining for you to drive me yourself to school, I miss waiting for you in front of the gate to get back from work, I miss your Lullabies mom, I miss you" I thought.

I was about to lie back down on the couch as- I wasn't in the mood to go out anymore- when I heard the doorbell.

who might be there? I don't remember anybody telling me that he'll come visit me today.

With a sigh, I made my way to the door while arranging my dishelved  black hair. I had washed my silver dye off when I noticed the fading silver color with the intention of dyeing it again when I decide on a new colour.

I was still moving toward the door when I heard the punching of the keys on my pass code.

Must be one of the guys.

I opened the intercom and saw all of them looking at Sehun that was pressing the pass code.

I waited for him to unlock the door as I just stood beside the door.

'Click' I heard the door open and they all entered, walking past me without even sparing me a glance.

"Hello to you too" I said with an eye roll.

"Oh! Hey Kai" Xiumin hyung who was the last person to enter greeted with a small smile.

"Hello hyung" I said closing the door that they left open.

Tch these hyungs 

Moving back to the living room, I saw most of them sprawled all over the room.

Some were lying on the couch, some like Chen and Chanyeol were in front of the TV doing only God knows what.

Maybe they want to watch a movie.

I saw Baek and D.O hyung distributing drinks to the rest of the guys and Sehun was no where to be found.

*facepalms*
Remind me who the owner of this house is again?

"Yah! Don't you have any latest movies?"Chen hyung asked.

This hyung!!  He should go to the cinema room if he wants latest movies... Who keeps movies in the living room Tch. 

I rolled my eyes at him which resulted in him sticking his tongue out. 

Childish hyung.

"You need to go grocery shopping Kai, you'll soon run out of food, there's nothing in your freezer"D.O Hyung said as he came out from returning the tray the drinks were in the kitchen with a glass of orange juice in his hand.

"Kai-ah did you see my polka dot socks? I left them here last time" Lay hyung who was sitting on the couch beside me asked.

"I left my Hello kitty plushie here too, did you see it?" Luhan hyung asked, which made me roll my eyes at him.

"Hyung I did not see your plushie, and I'll ask the cleaning crew for your socks later lay hyung" I answered as calmly as I could.

"Yo Jong-In Do you have Cola?"Kris hyung who was lying on the couch -legs on Tao's lap who didn't seem to mind asked.

"Don't answer him Kai, he should check by himself"Suho hyung said using his left leg to push kris off the couch.

Oh well

"Jong-In how have you been?" Umin hyung who was standing beside me asked.

" I've been good hyung,why do you ask?" I answered glaring at Baek Hyung that was throwing popcorns at Chen and Chanyeol.

"Yah! Yoda take that" he shouted.

"Hyung! Stop doing that!" I said to him.

"Shut up, Dark kid" he answered throwing a popcorn at me- which I swiftly dodge.

The said popcorn landed on Kris hyung's face that was coming out from the kitchen with a can of cola in his hand.

"Oh shit" I hear baek hyung say.

"Who did this?"he asked picking the popcorn and held it with his index and middle finger.

"Baekhyun!"

"Chen and Chanyeol!"

"Baekhyun!"

The three of them shouted in panic at the same time.

With a glare, hyung moved towards them, as they fled for their lives. 

"Yah Kris, leave them"Suho Hyung  shouted as he caught Kris arms that was chasing the three hyungs that were still running around the room.

"We're sorry hyung!" they shouted.

Kris Hyung gave them one last glare before he sat down and drank his coke.

"Why is everyone silent?" Sehun who  was coming down from the stairs with a damp hair and a fresh set of clothing asked with a clueless face.

"Wait are those my sweats?" I asked him with a glare.

"Hello!!" He replied with a grin and a wave.

"Why did you change Sehunnie?"suho Hyung asked.

"I don't know for you guys but I'm sleeping over,I don't want to shower with someone so I decided to shower when the bathroom is still free" he answered with a shrug.

"Oh okay" Suho hyung said turning his attention back to his phone.

"Did you have to wear my clothes?" I asked him again with a stern look.

"These are your clothes? I thought they were mine". He answered which made me send him a look of disbelief.

"wait I have these kind of sweats here too right? Are you sure these are not mine?" He asked.

"Are you crazy? Where did you bring that out from?" I asked with an eye roll.

"From your wadrob--oh mine must be in the drawers" he said smiling sheepishly at me.

"Thank God you know" I answered walking past the hyungs.

"Whatever I'm not changing it. Where are you going to?"he asked.

"My room"

"Why?"

"I'm going to get my laptop, mom said to call her when we're together".

This made everyone turn towards my  direction.

"Really?" Tao hyung asked.

"Mmmm" I replied.

"Then why are you still standing there?, be fast!!" Chanyeol hyung shouted  throwing Kris hyung's used cola can at me, which I dodged-Again.

"Yah! Yoda, do you want to ruin my beautiful face?" Sehun shouted holding his head, turns out the can had hit him.

"Yoda?! I'm your Hyung you white faced baby" Chanyeol hyung shouted with a glare. "and what? beautiful face?, pssh you wish" he added with a scoff.

This made sehun charge at him.

I shook my head at them and went to my room.

Those two are a handful.

I took my laptop that was on my bed and was about to step out when I remembered that I was wearing just Tank top and shorts. Opening my wardrobe, I took out the closest clothing to me- which happens to be a black shirt.

I pulled off my shorts and wore sehun's sweatpants which was in the wardrobe.

"hmm I think Sehun needs to check his eyes"

Moving back down to the living room, I saw Tao and D.O setting up the table for the laptop, Suho and lay were moving the couches together and Chanyeol and Sehun were still bickering with Baek and Chen hyung looking interestingly at them with popcorns in their hands, Kris, Umin and Luhan hyungs were just standing there not even interested in ChanHun's bicker.

I moved towards D.O and Tao and connected the Laptop to the TV- for a bigger screen.

"You can sit down now" I heard Suho hyung say.

Clicking on the video call menu, I arranged the screen and sat back down beside Luhan hyung.

Few seconds later, a video of my mom smiling at us in a restaurant appeared.

"Hello Mom!!" They all shouted waving excitedly at the screen.
