one. welcome to the greatest place on earth! (its a lie!)

VICTOR GOZAR WAS IN HIS CABIN, currently busy with a punching bag.  He was angry at his older sister for insulting him, deciding to take it out with his fists.  He couldn't wait for summer to be over so he could see his mom, dad, and younger siblings again.  He didn't want to deal with Clarisse forcing him to join her and their other siblings as they pulled some stupid prank.

He didn't understand how him and Clarisse were related.  Yes, they both had anger issues and disliked their godly parent (cough, cough, Ares).  But Victor didn't spend his time bullying other campers just to feel better about himself.  "Did she upset you again?" Liliana asked him as she entered the cabin.  "What do you think? She always does."

The girl sighed as she took a seat on his bed, "There's a new kid at camp.  I heard he fought the Minotaur."  Victor stopped punching, "And he survived? No one survives after that."  Liliana nodded in agreement, "I think it's cool.  Anyways, I have to go.  Chiron wants me to show him around.  See you later, Vic!"

"Later, Lily!"

The boy was forced to walk through camp with his siblings, trying to ignore Clarisse's voice.  He didn't need to hear her making fun of a camper that early in the morning.  The short haired brunette noticed Luke walking with a blonde boy, giving him a small wave.  The blonde was about to wave to him back, only to be met by Clarisse.  "So this is the kid that killed the Minotaur, huh?"

"Clarisse, cut it out.  He just got here." Victor advocated, only for him to be ignored by his sister.  The curly haired girl pushed the blonde onto the ground, making him flinch.  As she and her siblings walked away laughing, Victor stayed, helping the blonde off the floor.  "She seems... nice." Percy stated.  "I'm sorry about my sister.  She's a lot to deal with."

"I bet."  Percy furrowed his brows in confusion, "Wait, sister?"

"Me and her, along with the rest of our siblings, share the same godly parent but have different moms.  That's why we all look different.  I'm Victor, son of Ares." he answered, extending his hand out.  "Percy, son of Sally Jackson.  I don't know who my dad is." Percy stated, shaking his hand.  "Well, Percy, I hope you enjoy your time at camp.  It isn't the best but it's something.  Now, if you excuse me, I have to catch up to my stupid siblings.  Bye!"  Victor jogged away from Luke and Percy, eager to find Clarisse before he felt her wrath.

VICTOR HAD BEEN WOKEN UP FROM HIS NAP, forced to help his siblings.  "Why in the world are we in the bathroom? It's too late for this!" the boy complained, earning a few glares from his sisters and brothers.  "Shut up! And don't think I'm not mad at you for that little stunt you pulled earlier.  He's nothing but a wannabe hero." Clarisse stated, making Victor's fists clench.  Percy walked outside of the bathroom, only to be pushed in by one of the Ares kids.  "You think you're so tough because you killed the Minotaur? Tell me it was a made up story and I'll let you go."

"Clarisse, stop.  This is stupid.  Just let him go."  The curly haired girl pushed her brother onto the floor, making him grunt in pain.  "Listen here.  I don't know why you think you have a say in things because you don't, okay? I'm older and I know what's right.  So just follow my rules."

"I'm not that much younger than you, first of all.  I don't think your little brain comprehended what I just said, second of all.  And third of all, I'm not getting in trouble for some stupid stunt you're trying to pull so I'm out." Victor stated, getting off the floor.  As he left the bathroom, Clarisse yelled out, "Your such a baby!"

"And you're an idiot!" To clear his mind, he decided to go to the Camp Half - Blood Library. Sure, he had dyslexia but he enjoyed reading the stories of heroes from Greek mythology. It calmed him down, even if he got tired of it. He was by the bookshelf, scanning for something to read. "Excuse me? Could you please get me that book right there?" someone asked. "Sure." he stated, reaching up to get the book.

He turned to hand it to the person, now seeing their face. "Thank you." the girl stated. "No problem. Have I seen you around camp before?"

"I've been here for a while. You might've. I could say the same thing about you. I'm Annabeth. And you are?" she asked, extending her hand out. "Victor, son of Ares." he answered, shaking her hand. "I have seen you around camp before! You're always with Clarisse. What is it like living in a cabin with her every day?"

"She's annoying, petty, and rude. I'm living the dream." Annabeth tried to stop herself from laughing, trying not to get the librarian upset. "Thank you for the book, though. So see you around?"

"See you around." As Annabeth checked out her book, Victor finally found the one he was looking for. There was one thing he was worried about and it wasn't the deadline to return books.

It was Clarisse's wrath.
