Lara's POV

As I was closing my eyes shut, trying to blind myself from the reality I was also trying to think this rationally. I knew what happened. All that was just a dream and now I'm stuck at the beginning where I saved Hawkfrost's life, except that I didn't. Everybody I knew was just a creation of my imagination, not existent in the Labyrinth. But what was the point in being gloomy in such a situation? Even when everything is lost, you gotta find the strength to keep on going. And so that's what I tried to do. And soon, I realized I actually might stand a chance against villain Hawkfrost.

If this was set in the night I entered Labyrinth, and if Hawkfrost was waiting for me where I left him, there should've been a fireplace. I remember building a small shitty fireplace to keep us warm. But then again, this wasn't that much of a solid proof. It is possible that Hawkfrost moved and I just happened to meet him. But still, the fact that I found a mistake in what was supposed to be reality motivated me and soon I realized that the missing fireplace wasn't the only thing wrong. Hawkfrost swore, a few minutes ago. I was the one who taught him how to swear, and that was after I rescued him. There was one last test I had left to see if this us real or not. I remember asking Hawkfrost why he risked himself for me, a stranger, not long after he recovered. His answer was that he it was a natural instict. I do remember that in Warriors, Forest of secrets Silverstream said that she only saved Graystripe because she can't watch a cat drown. It was a RiverClan instict. It was possible that Hawkfrost saved me that time because it was some kind of a warrior instict, somebody he wanted to be. All I had to do was ask this Hawkfrost why he saved me. Villain or not, his answer shouldn't have changed. "Hawkfrost... Why did you save me?"He remained quiet for a short while but then answered "I told you already, I wanted to end this goddamn suffering of being a prisoner of the monsters here, and so should you." I smiled to myself and chuckled quietly. He didn't seem to care. He probably just assumed it was me going insane but he was wrong."Of course." I said, still smiling "This isn't real."With those words I lifted my head up and opened my eyes. I was greeted by Hawkfrost's icy blue eyes looking at me worried."You're okay." I sobbed quietly and hugged him tightly, letting tears of happiness and relief slip down my cheeks. He hugged me back."Yes, everything's okay." He whispered reassuringly. "Alright you two lovebirds, save cuddling for later, we're still not done here." I heard Supah say so I stood up. It didn't take me long to notice that Sorrows and Ross were still in some sort of a hallucination. Olivia was already trying to help Sorrows but she didn't seem to be making much progress with that."I'll go help Ross." Supah offered himself. Having nothing else to do, I decided to help Olivia. "Sorrows?" I asked quietly as I sat down next to her. She turned to me and I noticed that she was panicking. Hard. When she noticed me her eyes widened even more in fear. "No! Not you too!" She shouted and backed away, crying."Sorrows it's us! Lara and Olivia." Olivia begged but kept a smile on her face. I don't think Sorrows bought it."Get the hell away from me!" She screamed. I looked at Olivia and I could tell she was losing hope."She thinks we're villains or something." Olivia said, as if I didn't already know. If we tried to get close to her she thought we were going to harm her. Whoever was behind this tried to use me and Olivia as villain puppets, absolutely sick."Wait, I got!" I said. Olivia looked at me surprised. What got me out of the hallucination was finding mistakes. I turned back to Sorrows."Sorrows." I said. She looked at me, her face still painted in fear. "Use logic."For a second she looked confused. Then she looked at Olivia and then me again, frowning, probably from thinking. Then she shook her head and looked at me."Lara!" She exclaimed, cheeks still wet from tears."It's okay Sorrows, everything's okay." I said softly. She wiped her cheeks and hugged me. As soon as we broke the hug, I turned around to see Supah and Ross, who looked a bit shaken but stable."That's everybody, I believe." Supah said and I nodded. In situations like these, Hawkfrost was always the one to give orders so we automatically all looked at him. As always, he looked confident, but serious."One thing is clear, there is one last villain left to fight." He stated and nobody disagreed."A villain of illusion? Well that's gonna be a tough one." Supah said. Hawkfrost glared at him angrily, shutting him up."Oh yes Supah, indeed you are right. I am a tough one." A female voice echoed through the darkness. I knew this voice, I remembered it. When Olivia was sick and KillerCanadian got possessed or something in order to gave us a prophecy, this was the same voice. Whoever this villain was, it had to be that girl. And from what I remember, this villain is the creator of Labyrinth herself."Coward! Show yourself!" Hawkfrost yelled into the darkness. A giggle could be heard and after it the girl spoke again."Everything with its time, Hawkfrost." She said softly "I thought you knew that yourself well."I had no fucking idea what she meant by that and I didn't care enough to figure it out. Footsteps making their way over thin forest undergrowth could be heard,slowly coming closer and approaching us."Who are you?" I said loudly and showed no fear in my voice as at that moment, I wasn't really afraid."I am known by many names." She said. The footsteps were now close, she wasn't far from revealing herself "A pshyopath, a murderer, the master of illusion, The creator of Labyrinth," She revealed herself now but her form was shapeshifting to all kinds of villains, villains all of us probably saw in our hallucinations. I assumed that because there was no other pattern these villains could be in, and because I spotted villain Hawkfrost among them. Yet, due to changing her body her voice remained the same. Young and... there really is no better adjective to describe it, evil. She finally stopped and her body turned what I only assumed to be the real her.Overall she looked normal, a young teenage girl with messy long hair. But her whole body was shadowed and dark, the only way to tell what she looked like was that she was colored in different shades of black, seperating clothes and body parts and creating a spooky shadowed figure. Her eyes were colored in many shades of blue, irises and pupils being seperated by their more piercing colors. Another thing I noticed was that she had a necklace around her neck. On the necklace hung what I only assumed used to be small, colored glass balls. Now they were all broken, only small pieces of sharp glass sticking onto the silver."But my real name is Diamond.""Diamond, I have a question." I said. I felt Hawkfrost look at me surprised. He was probably going to say something like Are you out of your mind?!
Diamond looked at me, interested so I went on. "Why are you doing this? Why are you trapping people in the Labyrinth, making their lives miserable?" I could feel pairs and pairs of surprised eyes looking at me, I couldn't blame them. Diamond however cleared her throat and smiled."Glad you asked, Lara." she said and closed her eyes. "It was two years ago, that's twenty years for you people." Her words stabbed me like a knife. She's been torturing people for twenty years now?"It was a dark night, the rest of my family was sleeping but me and my brothers, Amethyst and Emerald were allowed to stay up late for being the oldest three children. Everybody else was sleeping and we were sitting in the living room, watching cartoons. Emerald found that shit boring so he suggested switching to something more 'adult' we agreed and so surfed a bit until we came across a horror movie." She stopped to smile even wider "I still remember, tons of blood, organs shinning in the dim light, screams of agony being heard from the victims... Amethyst said that this was awful and asked us to turn off the tv. We refused so he silently waited. Five minutes later, things got even more horrible, but so much more enjoyable. Amethyst walked over and turned the TV off himself. He gave us a lecture and went to sleep. Me and Emerald weren't tired however, oh no, we craved for more fun. So naturally, we went to the kitchen and took a few knives. We returned to our family and killed it. As bloody and horrible as the movie taught us." I was starting to feel sick "Only two survived, Amethyst who took our younger brother Ruby some place safe, I have no idea where they are now. Anyways, me and Emerald contunied our spree, killing neighbours and some cops. A human year later, we got bored of torturing and killing people, we wanted something more.""So you created Labyrinth?" Supah guessed."Excactly. Took us months to plan it out but now, we have our own Labyrinths. For years we've been repeating the cycle constantly but with different characters."She finished her story and there was silence as we stared at her, disgusted and shaken from what we've just heard."You sick fuck." Hawkfrost said coldly."We're not afraid of you!" Olivia growled. I agreed with that. We were all too angry at her for what she's done to be afraid of her, all though she was very powerful."Oh Olivia, but I think you should be." Diamond said, smirking as she spoke in a charming but cold tone."We'll fucking fight you!" Ross shouted. I was surprised, I've never seen Ross swear out of anger. Diamond opened her mouth for a smart reply but another voice interupted."No, you won't." It sounded heavenly, almost god-like. Hawkfrost and I shared a confused eye contact."Enderlox? But how..." Sorrows whispered. I looked at Diamond and to my surprise, it didn't look as this was part of her plan. In fact, she almost looked scared. That's when the ground started to shake, increasing our surprise and confusion. I had no idea what to do, I was just looking around at my team, Hawkfrost, Diamond, forest and the ground below. "Look!" Sorrows exclaimed and showed at the sky. I gasped as I saw billions of stars where there only used to be six. But that wasn't the main surprise, the main surprise was that those six stars, six villains that we've killed now shone brighter than ever. That's when I realized that it wasn't the ground shaking, it was the sky."This is a battle for us to fight." I recognised the voice being Icee's."What the hell is going on?!" Diamond screamed at the stars, replacing her fear with anger and confusion, all though I belive the confusion part wasn't in her plan. We all stared at the sky, noticing that there were now white cracks, forming between the six stars, as if the sky was about to break. It looked so beautiful, so unnatural. The cracks grew and grew, connecting the stars until a great white light shone so bright, we had to cover our eyes not to get blinded. As I opened my eyes again, I gasped in amazement and so did everybody else. Facing Diamond, stood the six 'villains' we've struggled to defeat all these months. They all looked slightly different however. It seemed as if all the things that made their appearance look scary were now replaced with some that made them look.... good. Not as in attractive but as in the opposite of evil. Perfect example was Kille-I mean Mitch whose glowing red eyes were replaced with warm, chestnut brown irises. There was one thing they all had in common, each one of them had some sort of a tattoo on their right eye, representing a star.It looked like their leader was Ty, and I understood why. All along he was the only one brave enough to rebel, only one brave enough to make a change. And he made it, he reached freedom. Now he was here to fight the one who imprisoned him in the first place. "You've done enough to these innocent people Diamond, fight us instead." Ty spoke, loudly and clearly. Diamond narrowed her eyes as she stared at him. He had large, feathered wings and he firmly held a long golden weapon, closest comparison would be a spear but much more glorious. His eyes however, we're still bright and violet, courage shinning in them. "You know what Endy, you're right." Diamond suddenly said "You at least stand a chance against me, so it won't be a boring-ass fight and still end with me winning." "You wish." Tyler said. "Bring it on villains."
"Villains?" Jason repeated and looked at Adam.
"Oh I wouldn't call us villains.
Enderlox smirked as he glared at Diamond "I believe the right expression would be heroes."
