Luna's Pov

I was in my room, trying to pick a nice outfit.

Today, dad's new wife Tasha Dooley is coming to live with us. 

Along with her son Leo Dooley.

I'm excited because I've always wanted dad to find himself a woman to marry so he would've be alone forever.

I just wanted to make sure he ended up with a nice woman that loved him for him and not for his money.

Trust me I didn't want dad to end up with some gold digger.

But I was so glad he ended up with someone like Tasha because she's a super nice woman and so smart and pretty.

I finally found a nice outfit and change into it.

I then I heard the door open smiled, they're here.

I made my way downstairs and saw Dad with Tasha and a short teenage boy.

"Hey dad" I smiled as I walked down the stairs.

"Oh hey pumpkin, perfect timing actually" Dad smiled as he kissed my cheek.

"Hi Tasha, it's nice to see you again" I smiled.

"Oh sweetie, it's good to see you too, it's been so long" Tasha smiled back as she gave me a hug.

"Tasha, what are you talking about? We literally saw each other at you and dad's wedding?" I asked.

"It still feels like forever" Tasha pouted.

The two of us laughed while dad chuckled in amusement and shook his head.

Tasha and I pulled away from the hug as she turned to the boy that was next to her and wrapped an arm around his shoulder.

"Oh I nearly forgot, this is my son Leo. Leo this is Luna, she's Donald's adopted daughter" Tasha smiled.

"Hey, nice to meet you" I smiled, extending my hand out to him.

He smiled and shook my hand.

"Nice to meet you too Luna, I hope to get to know you more" Leo said.

"Me too" I nodded.

Leo looked around the house while grinning like an idiot.

"What is that?" Leo asked.

"Oh, uh... that is my latest creation. Davenport Industries' first completely interactive 3-D TV" Dad said, gently pushed Leo away from it.

Dad turned it on and a ball gets thrown to Leo. He tries to catch it but misses and hits the wall.

Soon Eddy appears.

"Watch the face, termite!" Eddy yelled, causing Leo to flinch.

"Mom, I think the little voice inside my head is back" Leo said, causing me laugh.

"No, this is Eddy. He's my smart home system. Eddy, this is my new stepson, Leo. Remember, I told you Leo and Tasha are moving in today" Dad explained.

"Hey, welcome. Everything here is mine" Eddy said.

This made Tasha and Leo frown while I giggled.

"Sup Luna" Eddy said, "hey Edds" I said with a smile as he disappeared.

"Uh, Leo, why don't you go check out your new bedroom? Just go straight down that hallway, and when you see the room with the video games and the action figures and the 50-foot-screen TV... keep walking, that's mine" Dad said

Leo's smile turned into a frown while I shook my head.

I walked over to Leo and wrapped my arm around his shoulder.

"Come on buddy, I'll show you your room" I smiled. 

Leo smiled at me and nodded.

We walked away from dad and Tasha so I could show Leo his new room.

When we got there he was smiling like an idiot.

We soon left his room and walked around the house.

"This place is huge! I'm gonna need a GPS just to find the bathroom" Leo said.

"Tell me about it" I muttered.

Leo leaned his back against the wall and to his surprise, as well as mine, some weird elevator appeared.

"What the hell?" I asked, frowning in confusion.

Leo walked inside with me following behind him.

"Hello?" Leo asked, glancing around the elevator.

All of a sudden the elevator doors closed behind us and soon took us down.

Really, really fast.

Leo was screaming like a baby and held onto me while I just sighed and shook my head.

Soon the elevator stopped the doors opened and we stepped out.

"Whoa, my new dad is batman" Leo grinned.

"There's no way my dad is batman. He's got a huge ego to be him" I told him.

We soon heard footsteps and we started freaking out.

Well, let me rephrase that. 

Leo was freaking out while I was calm.

Leo grabbed my arm and dragged me behind some weird yellow barrels.

Soon the doors opened and a kid that looked around my age ran in and quickly closed the doors.

Not gonna lie, he's cute.

"Good luck getting in. That steel door is thicker than your head" the boy smirked.

Leo and I looked at each other before turning our attention back to the kid.

Soon we heard a loud noise and my eyes widened in shock when I saw that the steel door was easily broken.

When the doors fell down to the ground another boy, a much taller one, came into the view with a smirk on his face.

"Well, there's another way to get in" the boy said in a nervous tone.

The taller boy glared at him as he walked up to him and grabbed him by the back of his suit and lifted him up.

"Give me back my ePod" the tall boy demanded.

"I don't have it!" the boy yelled.

Soon a girl around my age walked in and smiled at the two boys.

"Hey" the girl smiled at the boys.

The older boy soon gasped once he spotted her.

"You took my ePod" the tall boy gasped, throwing the other boy to the ground.

"Taylor Swift Mega-Mix. Really?" the girl asked with raised eyebrows.

I had to cover my mouth to stop myself from laughing.

Leo smacked my arm and glared at me to which I glared back at him.

"I find her soothing" the taller boy defended.

Meh, he's got a point.

The girl rolled her eyes and turned around, but then the taller boy shot fucking lasers out of his eyes and hit her in the back.

My eyes widened in shock and I looked at Leo to see that he was in shock like me.

'What the fucking hell is going on?' I thought.

The girl soon turned around, very very angrily.

"Oh, I know you didn't shoot that laser at me!" the girl yelled at him in anger.

The taller boy smiled and shook his head.

"Oh, sorry. It was a terrible mistake, just like your face" the taller boy smirked.

Gotta admit, that was a nice comeback.

The girl got angry and the she freaking...superspeed into the taller boy and pushed him.

He knocked down a few barrels, revealing me and Leo.

We all looked at each other, not really knowing what to say or do.

"AHHHHH!!" Leo shouted.

"AHHHHH!!" the three kids shouted back.

"AHHHHHHHH!!" all four of them shouted together.

I groaned in annoyance as I covered my ears.

"Stop fucking shouting!" I yelled.

Leo let out a shriek as he ran past the kids, leaving me alone with the kids.

The three kids then turned to face me.

I glared at them, causing them to move away just a bit.

"I swear this man does some crazy shit" I muttered under my breath in annoyance.

I walked past them and made my way over to Leo.

But no to avail because the kids followed behind me and cornered me and Leo.

Leo placed me in front of him as he stared at the kids in fear.

I turned to face Leo and gave him a look of confusion and slight annoyance.

"Leo, why the hell are using me as a shield?" I asked.

"Because mom told me that you took self defense classes when you were 2, so you can protect me" Leo said.

I rolled my eyes at him and turned my attention to the three kids.

"Okay, I don't play this card too often, but... MOM" Leo shouted in fear.

I glared at him and smacked him upside the head.

"Shut up, my ears are sensitive" I said.

Soon dad and Tasha came downstairs.

"Dad!" I yelled.

Leo ran to Tasha  and hugged her while I ran to dad and hugged him.

"Leo. There you are! Oh" Tasha sighed as she hugged him really tight.

"Thank goodness you're alright pumpkin" Dad sighed as he kissed my cheek.

"What is this place? And who are they?" Tasha asked while pointing at the three kids.

Dad looked nervous as he quickly stood next to the kids while I crossed my arms and stood next to Leo and Tasha.

"Uh, they, uh, are... a boy band I've been working with, um, and the twist is, one of them is a girl" Dad said.

We all glared at him and gave him a look that said, 'what's really going on?'

Dad sighed in defeat and nodded.

"All right, they're part of a secret project I've been developing, genetically engineered superhuman siblings" Dad said while chuckling.

I uncrossed my arms as I sated at him in shock with wide eyes.

Has he been doing this for years?

How did he even keep this a secret from me for so long?

"Tasha, Leo, pumpkin, meet Adam, Bree and Chase, the greatest combination of biology and technology ever developed. I don't want to brag, but I am incredibly smart" Dad smirked.

Tasha looked at both of us as me and Leo raised our hands in surrender.

"Don't look at me, I told you to stay away from Internet dating" Leo defended.

"And I told you that marrying my father was a big mistake" I defended.

This made Leo and those three kids snort while dad glared at me.

Tasha let out a small giggle and nodded before turning around and gave them a small smile.

"So, they're robots?" Tasha asked while shrugging.

This made the three kids gasp in offence.

"Whoa!" Chase gasped.

"Hey!" Adam gasped.

"Oh no, she didn't" Bree gasped.

"No, Tasha, they're human, I've just given each of them a unique set of bionic abilities controlled by a microchip implant in their necks. It sounds a lot more complicated than it is" Dad explained.

"You think" I scoffed while rolling my eyes at him.

"See, Adam is all brute strength, and Bree has speed and agility, and Chase has super-senses and a superior intelligence" Dad explained.

The three kids smiled and nodded at us.

"That doesn't sound too bad I guess" I shrugged while Leo nodded.

Tasha smiled and walked up dad and pulled his arm.

"Donald... Hi... There are children...living in our basement" Tasha yelled at him, causing dad to jump just a bit.

"This is a scientific habitat. I mean, look at it. It's got a game room and a rock wall. Anything a kid could ask for. I've created this place so they can train in the utmost of comfort and technology" Dad explained.

I frowned slightly at that.

They're still human, living their life in technology and in a basement ain't healthy.

"It's true, the toilets have seat-warmers that talk" Adam smiled.

This made me and Leo look at him weirdly.

"What do they say?" Leo asked.

"It varies, depending on-" Adam started but we cut him off.

"No" both me and Leo said, clearly uncomfortable.

"Donald, I don't know what to make of all this. Some new wives get surprised with a honeymoon in Hawaii or... a cruise. Bionic teenagers were not on our wedding registry" Tasha said.

"Honey, they have to stay down here for their own safety. This is all very top-secret. But as soon as their training is complete, they'll be able to handle any crisis or problem that the world throws at them" Dad explained.

"I want to go to the pyramids" Chase said.

"I want to go to Paris" Bree said.

"I want to go upstairs" Adam said.

"You seriously don't even let them go upstairs?" I asked in shock.

"I couldn't have them going upstairs or else you would've found out about them" Dad defended.

I huffed but said nothing knowing that he had a point.

"Hey, what are those? Time machines?" Leo asked, pointing towards some weird large cube things.

"No, they are not time machines. Time machines are actually in the shop. These are my biologically regulated atmospheric chambers where my bionic creations live and sleep and eat" Dad explained.

"Which reminds me, it's dinnertime" Dad said.

The three teens smiled before running into their tubes.

They put on their goggles while dad made his way over to some device.

"Ready?" Dad asked.

The three kids smiled and nodded.

Dad smiled as he pressed a few buttons by the device he was at.

Soon some weird pellets came out of their tubes and they started eating.

Bree was eating like a normal person while Chase and Adam were eating like wild animals.

Well that's weird.

And a little concerning.

"These are my patented protein pellets" Dad said with a smile, "whatever they don't catch is tomorrow's breakfast" Dad grinned.

Tasha covered her mouth while me and Leo stared at dad weirdly.

"Sometimes I wonder if he has a few lose screws in his brain" I whispered to Leo who nodded.
