"Ms. Falcon! " I snapped my eyes open to look at my science teacher wide eyed.

I fell asleep again in class and I was going to pay the consequences...again.

The science teacher is a cool guy but sometimes he has his frightening moments like the one that's about to occur.

"Please pay attention in class-" he started but was cut off when my phone rang signaling a mission.

"Pardon me, Mr. Boron but I have to go" I said rushed packing all my belongings and leaving class in record time.

I ran into a closet and changed immediately into my Kim Falcon costume and as I left the closet I saw people staring at me, cocking their eyebrows in amusement.

"What are you staring at?" I asked them as Bree responded "you in your mission costume"

Leo rolled his eyes and said "there is a mission alert and missions are kind of my thing"

Bree scoffed and said "no they aren't, they are my thing. Your thing is to boss people around through a mike."

"Guys! Just get into costume so we can leave" I asked them until Bree stopped and asked "what am I suppose to wear?"

She looked over at Leo who had a wrist watch with a spin dile and when the dile stops it changes your outfit in less than a few seconds.

Leo passed her a watch and said "I designed the outfit and might I just say, I think you'll love it"

Leo changed into a suit with black pants, a blue and black indestructible top with leather boots and a mask that didn't show his secret identity.

Bree put on the watch and her outfit changed into black stretchy pants, with black boots, a pink and black indestructible top, pink knuckle gloves, and a black mask to cover her identity.

"Welcome to the team Bree" I said as she looked at her outfit in awe.

Then she looked at Leo and shrieked "your Hawk! Leo's Hawk, the guy who's a genius with any sort of technology! "

Leo and I chuckled as I said "well Bree, ready for your first mission?"

"If you can handle it" Leo said smirking as I grabbed his arm and told Bree "meet me at the tallest building in 3rd Street" before speeding off.

"Is that Villanova?" Asked Bree as we stared down in the town square of Mission Creek.

A man with a black suit, and red horns and an annoying smirk on his face was in town square setting everyone nearby in a panicked state.

"Yeah" I said looking at all the innocent bystanders running into hiding places away from town square.

Leo gave us both a small com set and said "we're team Falcon, nothing can stop us. Now let's go kick some Villan butt!"

Wall high fived each other before we speeded down to the bottom of the building (Leo staying on the top, making a ray) and got into a fighting stance.

"Yo Villanova! Why don't you fight someone more challenging" I yelled catching his attention.

He smirked as replied in a deep monster voice "well look what we have here. Kim Falcon and her new sidekick. What's her name?"

"Flash, Flash Dawson" she responded proudly.

We didn't even think of a superhero name for her, way to go Bree!

"Kim Falcon and Flash Dawson, the supers who are going to try and save the day but fail" he said making a fake sad face.

"That's what you think!" I yelled jumping into the air kicking his face in the process.

He was taken back but made a fireball and threw it a me sending me across town square.

Bree sent punches at him but he blocked every one and sent her flying back as well.

"You do this almost every day" she asked getting up from the ground.

I nodded and was about to attack against until I heard Leo say into the com set "Bree, Mia, hold him down. I figured out a way to temporarily paralyze him"

"How are we suppose to do that?" Asked Bree into the com set.

He responded "Mia can use her element of earth to make vines and Bree, you can tie them down with your super speed"

"Got it" we both said simultaneously before going into action.

I flew up creating vines as Bree grabbed them and super speeded around Villanova avoiding his attacks and tying him down.

"Leo now" I growled into the com set and in a few seconds Leo shot Villanova and he temporarily stopped moving.

I felt Bree's arms wrap around me and hug me tightly, and I couldn't help but hug back in joy.

Leo came running out of the building and we all high five'd each other before a news anchor came to us pointing the mike to our faces.

"Kim Falcon and Hawk, you truly are heros but may I ask, who is this new superhero who fought along side you today?" The lady Ms. Jones from channel 9 asked.

I replied "this here is Flash Dawson, new comer to the Falcon team. Ya think you can handle it?"

Bree scoffed and said "I just battled Villanova, I think I can handle it"

Ms. Jones put the mike towards her and said "well that's team Falcon! Give it up for the heroes of Mission Creek!"

Everyone started to clap as Bree and I got Leo's arm and super speed away.

"That was...awesome! " Bree shrieked and I couldn't help but laugh.

Leo started to brag "I built that ray in less time than I ever knew I could. I am awesome"

"Your beginning to sound like Mr. Davenport" I said laughing.

We had already changed into our normal clothes and are currently headed back to school.

When we walked down the corridor, blending into the crowd during passing period principal Perry stopped us.

"Not so fast dimwads! Where have you been?! No one leaves the school premises without an explanation!"

We started to stutter feeling very stupid all of a sudden when suddenly the bell rang and I said "well look at that, we're late to class. You know the rules"

Then we all scattered to our different class leaving an angry Perry in our wake.

"Okay, your mission supplies are packed, the schematics have been uploaded into Chase's chip and your transport is on the way. Did I forget anything?" Mr. Davenport asked snapping his fingers trying to remember.

"No, We'll just guess what the mission is and see how it all plays out." Bree replied sarcastically

We were all down in the lab, and I didn't have to be here but for some odd reason Chase begged me to come saying he'll pay me back for making me come.

Though he didn't make me come, I wanted to come but I just like to see him beg.

He's really cute when he begs.

Also I was able to get a late pass to school so it's kind of a win win.

"Alright, a particle collider is a three mile long underground facility where scientists-"

Chase finished off his sentence which I didn't pay attention too since I was busy staring at him going all fanboy and it made my heart beat faster.

I had to grab the cyberdesk just so I wouldn't swoon and fall on my knees.

I am falling down hard and I'm hoping he catches me.

"There is a particle collider in Berkley that is accelerating out of control and your mission is to shut it down"

Adam gave him a cheeky smile and said "Whoa, awesome. I hope one of us knows how to do that."

Everyone ignored his small comment as Mr. Davenport continued "Okay we have to act quick. The scientist that opperate the facility have already evacuated the control center and if we don't shut it down in time it will create a massive black hole that will implode the entire planet."

Seriously the human race is getting less responsible by the second and I'm desperately hoping that I don't become one of those people, actually now that I think about it I'm not exactly human.

I was born on this planet but my mom was born on the planet titan and my dad the planet zorton.

"Today?" Leo asked shocked.

"No that's not gonna work. Today is Shelly Evan's birthday and her mom makes the best cupcakes." Everyone gave him a look meaning 'seriously'.

He held his hands up in defense as he continued "I'm just sayin' that woman doesn't skim on the sprinkles."

Mr. Davenport rolled his eyes and said "Don't worry Leo you will get your cupcakes. Adam, Bree and Chase have all the training they need to shut the collider down."

"I don't know Big D. I think these guys are gonna need some...BACKUP!" Leo sang.

I smacked my hand over my mouth trying to hold a smile.

"Yeah and that's why you're gonna be BACKUP here in the lab with me, and Mia if she wants to stay."

"Oh you said backup and then you said backup. Saying things twice makes it funny. Oh! Saying things twice makes it funny!" Adam laughed.

"Stop it!" Mr. Davenport yelled as I let out a small giggle.

Suddenly this big ball of blue light came out of nowhere freaking everyone out.

The moment I screamed I felt someone grab me by the hips and pull me into them protectively.

"Nobody panic! Probably just the cable guy." Mr. Davenport said trying to reassure everyone but I just held on to whoever, grabbing them tighter, them doing the same to me.

Someone came out of the machine making us all back up a step, is that an alien space shuttle?

"Come on Big D, I just came back from seven years in the future! Your time machine actually works!" The stranger said and my eyes widen to the size of dinner plates.

A girl stepped out and rolled her eyes at him.

"He's from this time not from ours so of course he's not going to remember" the girl said obviously rolling her eyes.

She reminds me of someone, I just can't place my finger on it.

"It's me! Leo!" The man said and I immediately smiled.

"Whoa, the cable guy has the same name as you." Adam said stupidly but I ignored that comment.

Leo walked up to F-Leo and said "Wait, if you're really me then you know the handshake I came up with in case I ever became a spy."

"Requesting authentication OO Leo." F-Leo replied

They did some handshake that Leo taught me when we were kids and F-Leo did it perfectly.

Jumping up and down Leo yelled "It really is me!"

Mr. Davenport started jumping up and down with him while saying "So you're the future version of him! Do you know what this means? I cracked time travel! Hahaha! I cracked time travel! I cracked time travel! Can you do me a favor? When I see you in seven years can you remind me how awesome I am? Let me get a high five!"

"Aw I'm sure you won't forget." Leo and F-Leo said in unison "Hey! He just said what I said! Technically I just said what I said. Okay you're gonna have to stop doing that. Stop. Stop. Stop!"

I started laughing with them and let go who I was previously holding onto dear life embarassed.

It was Chase and it was kind of awkward when after the whole fiasco we were still holding onto each other.

F-Leo looked at Adam, Bree, and Chase and said happily "It's so good to see you guys!"

"It's good to see you too, older, yet strangely similar Leo."

Leo looked over at the pretty girl and asked "Hey me, who's the hottie over there? My future girlfriend"

The girl started laughing and said "oh he wishes but he can't date his cousin can't he"

Everyone's eyes widen except F-Leo's, instead he said " yeah I wouldn't date her in a million years. No offense Mia"

"None taken. I would say the same about you" she replied sitting on Leo's spin chair while crossing her legs.

She looked over to me and smirked "sup heartbreaker."

Adam whistled at both of us as I felt an arm wrap around my waist, looking up it was Chase.

He was glaring at Adam but when he looked down at me he immediately removed the arm from my waist like nothing happened.

"So what did time travel feel like?" Mr. Davenport asked changing the subject. 

"Did your body mass increase exponentially as you accelerated towards light speed?"

"Uh... pushed a button... felt a lot of wind... there was a big flash but yeah, mass and speed and stuff." F-Leo said awkwardly

"So if you're from the future then what color are my eyes?" Adam asked curiously.

Pushing Adam aside Bree said "Ignore him. Come on future Leo, let's jump to 2025 and see what people are wearing. I wanna start now and be a trend setter"

"Sorry but it took Big D years to scrape together enough fuel for me to come here once and go back."

"Fine. But if I end up wearing mom jeans and hair scrunchies you are gonna get back in that thing and fix it!" Bree screeched at him.

Mr. Davenport's phone beeped "The collider mission. You guys have to get ready. Head to the equipment room and gear up."

"Nice meeting you future Leo."

"Yeah congrats on growing out of your awkward stage." They all waved.

"Hey why didn't you just bring future Adam, Bree and Chase with you? Let me guess, you just hopped in the time machine and took off without them. That is so future me...but not future Mia..." Leo started but finished drifting off.

Everyone left except for Mr. Davenport, Leo, and I including our future selves.

F-Leo sighed and said "Actually that's why we're here. Adam, Bree and Chase don't make it to the future."

"He's joking right?" I asked my future self but she just shook her head sadly.

"I wish he was"

"What?!" Leo exclaimed as tears started to come to my eyes.

"Oh no! Oh no! Oh no! Oh no! Oh no!" Adam said running back into the lab as if he heard something "Forgot to pack my pudding."

"What do you mean Adam, Bree and Chase don't make it to the future?"

We were now all in the living room and I couldn't help but just sit by the counter holding back tears.

"You sent me back here with a video that will explain everything." F-Leo said and this screen popped up from this new phone.

"What is that?" Leo asked himself.

"It's a holophone." He replied

"I invented the holophone?" Mr. Davenport yelled happily.

My future self laughed and said "No. But you did wait six days to get one."

The video started playing and this big man who looked like Mr. Davenport said "Greetings past Donald!"

"That's me? Please tell me the holophone adds a hundred pounds!"

"Even if it did what about the other two hundred."

F-Leo sighed and said "The next seven years are pretty hard on you Big D."

"Or should I say bigger D."

My future self sighed as well and said "I tried to get him into dieting and exercising but every time I did he flipped and yelled 'you'll never make me'. He usually stops running after 5 seconds."

"If you are watching this: We cracked time travel! Haha! Interdenominational high five!" Future Donald said holding up his hand and Mr. Davenport gave him one.

Mr. Davenport's face lit up as he yelled "I just high fived my future self! What! Look at me! Let me have some joy!"

The video continued "I sent Leo back in time to stop you from sending Adam, Bree and Chase on the partical collider mission."

"What? Why?"

"Now I'm sure you're asking 'what? why?' As a scientist I am loathed to change the past but in this case I have to make an exception. Adam, Bree and Chase don't return from the mission. Send an automated rover in their place, it's the only chance we have to save them. Oh and by the way. Every time you say 'Hey I think this calls for a cookie' think about this:" Future Davenport lifts up his shirt and future me automatically covers my eyes cringing herself.

After the video my future self said "I need to talk to myself right now. Excuse us"

She pulled me away into a closed area, making sure no one was around and sat me down.

She sighed and began "Mia I'm going to tell you this once and only once because I'm not going to repeat it again. You, right now are in love with Chase and when you lose him it'll hurt you to the point where you'll start to overwork yourself with missions and training. These few years have been extremely hard on me and every time a guy asks me out I turn them down harshly and I actually became an ice queen. Leo was the only person who kept me sane during this fiasco and I don't want what happen these past few years to start over on you. You're never going to find a guy like Chase and you never will so don't let him go. Hold on and if he makes it past today tell him your secret, it'll pay off"

She wiped the tears from her eyes and continued " Adam and Bree will become the siblings you never had and will always need. You don't know it now but they were always there when you fell down so don't let them go."

I just stared at her shocked as she walked out of the room and closed the door.

It took me a few minutes but I eventually got up and walked out the door to hear Mr. Davenport talk about sending a rover.

"If Adam, Bree or Chase hear about any of this it'll shake their confidence in future missions or their confidence in me. Please tell me you won't say anything to them."

We all promised as Adam, Bree, and Chase came through the elevator. "Good to go Mr. Davenport. We'll check in once we reach delta point."

"No! I mean the missions off." Mr. Davenport stuttered nervously.

"But you said it was urgent." Adam asked confused.

Mr. Davenport flushed a certain shade of red and stuttered again "Did I say urgent? I think I said urging. I was urging you not to go on the mission."

Chase tried to convince him to let them go but Davenport refused and went to build the rover.

He told them to get ready for school and they listened without arguing again.

"Thank you. Future you would thank you too Big D."

"Let's just hope it actually works" Future me said sighing.

"Or should we say Bald D." Leo tried to joke but it just brought the mood down.

School passed by fast and I couldn't help but think how there's something I should do in the first place.

I'll know when the time comes and if it does I'll have to jump at the chance to do so, after all I do care about them, more than my life.

That's what supers do after all, save others even if it means you might not live to see another day.

"Hey Mia. What's up with you? Your so jumpy today" Chase asked walking up to me in the hallway.

"What?" I asked not really paying attention.

He rolled his eyes "Mia you have been out of it all day, somethings up. Tell me"

I shook my head and replied "it's nothing really, I'm just really worried about my mom you know. Chase I just need to be alone for a bit "

I was lying and he knew it but didn't question it and just walked away clearly upset.

I couldn't take it anymore, I had to tell him how I felt and now.

"Chase..." I began quietly and thankfully he heard me because he turned around questioningly.

I didn't know what to say now so I just walked up to him and gave him a hug.

He hugged back automatically and we just stayed that way for a while not making any sudden movement to leave.

The bell rang for class yet we still didn't move, I don't think he even heard it because a minute after the bell rang he held me tighter but still not tight enough to crush me.

"Thank you" I whispered into the crook of his neck knowing that he heard me.

"Hey Big D, I got an A on my history test." Leo said happily as the future us trailed behind us.

Mr. Davenport looked back at him and said obviously "Yeah? Did you cheat by getting the answers from future you?"

"So how's that rover coming along?" Leo's said together.

"Doufus" Future me and me said in unison before smiling at each other.

"It's almost ready." There were sparks coming from the rover and we all jumped back trying not to get electrocuted

"You know what, are you sure Adam, Bree and Chase don't make it?"

"Yes I'm sure. I'll show downloaded footage from the control room."

Future Leo set up a hologram and showed us Adam, Bree and Chase disarming the partical collider.

They finished the mission so I smiled relieved until all of a sudden the ceiling collapses on the three and the footage goes static to black.

My heart stopped and I felt as if it was ripped from my chest and stabbed multiple times.

"Scratch that cookie. I need to get this thing mission ready"

"Aha! So it's still not mission ready." Chase said happily.

"Why won't you just let us go?"

"No!" I yelled aloud as everyone stared at me.

Mr. Davenport coughed and pointed the attention back to him "No, no that won't be necessary. I just need to buy a few things from NASA. They're having a sale, everything is a million off. Uh...I'll be gone for a couple of hours. Leo, Mia, you're in charge."

Again Both Leo's said in unison "You got it Big D."

"Future Leo and Mia!"

"Oh come on!" Leo complained stomping around.

When he was gone Adam looked at his siblings and said "He thinks this mission is to big for us."

Leo looked at them and said "It's not that he thinks it's too big-"

"Leo!" F- Leo, F-me and I scowled "We promised."

"I guess Davenport just lost confidence in us." Bree said disappointed.

The three of them then got into an argument and I had to pull myself away from them "Guys!" I yelled tired of their fighting.

"stop it! It's not because of you and even if it was, why are you turning on eachother? Your family, siblings for heaven's sakes! You still have each other, family is forever and no matter what happens you have them to fall back on. Stop acting like you guys are better than the other or if it's the other persons fault when it's not! If you really disliked eachother you would have broken up a long time ago but you didn't, keep in mind that you three are very fortunate, you have a life any kid wishes they had, a family, a home, and friends. If you throw it all away for some stupid accusation then...wow"

I stormed off angrily ignoring their shocked expressions.

"I'll go talk to her " future me said following me into the elevator.

We just stood in silence until she said "I know how much it hurts"

"Your not me. If you know what I mean" I replied harshly.

I heard myself sigh and say "Mia I know how it hurts because your emotions are mine. If your hurt, I'm hurt, your sad, I'm sad-"

"I get the message" I grumbled as the elevator started to go up.

"Don't get an attitude with yourself Mia! I know what your going through cause I had to live through it myself. I lost Chase once and I would do anything to get him back but you, you still have him and if you save him you give us both a second chance whether you know it or not. Don't stress about it ok"

I didn't say anything, I only walked out of the elevator trying not to break down.

I heard a knock on my door an hour later until it was just opened rudely by myself.

Typical me.

I looked at her oddly till she said "they've gone on the mission"

The room started to spin around me as she held the note that was addressed to me.

Grabbing it immediately I read the note over and over again, making sure I read it correctly.
'Dear Mia
I'm sorry we left without a proper goodbye but I couldn't tell you or else you would have tried to stop us. Since we don't make it back I need you to know that...I love you. I've always loved you ever since you walked down the hall towards us on our first day of school. I love everything about you, the way you turn beet red when your embarassed, how you pucker your lips when your concentrating, it's adorable, the list goes on. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you this sooner or at least in person. I love you so much and I hope that for my sake you love me the way I always loved you.

I put the note on my desk while running down to the lab future me following, seeing Leo and future Leo there.

"I'm not letting you do this. It's too dangerous." Future Leo argued.

Leo started to complain until I shushed them both. "I'm going to go after them whether you like it or not. Even if it kills me to save them, I will take that risk. Are you guys joining me or not?"

My future self smiled and said "there's the me I recognize"

We got there as fast as we could and through all the possibilities I still kept faith that they were still ok. They just had to be.

We got into the tunnel just in time for Leo to yell to them "Guys! Did you shut down the collider?"

"Yeah we just finished." Chase said and his eyes widened when he saw me. "Mia!"

"The room is about to collapse!" I yelled not caring if he was worried about me.

"What?!"

The room started to shake and acting on instinct I ran over to the three and pushed them out of the way. Before the rocks crushed me I whispered to him 'I love you'

"Mia!" I heard everyone yell but I didn't respond.

I just stayed silent, getting lightheaded but tried to fight the darkness trying to consume me.

"guys I'm fading" I heard future me say as everyone dug frantically.

I felt myself being lifted up and I groaned saying "everything hurts"

"Stay awake Mia" was all the person said as the walls starting to close in and all I heard was Leo yelling "Future Mia is gone!" Before everything went black.

"She's waking up" I heard someone whisper as I opened my eyes.

The first person I saw was Chase staring down at me.

I was currently laying on his chest as Adam, Bree, and Leo towered over me.

"Hi guys" I whispered, my voice hoarse ,"are you ok? I mean-"

"We're fine Mia, thanks for everything" Bree said cutting me off.

I was going to say something to Adam when he asked me "wanna cookie"

We all laughed until Leo came running and said "guys. Future Mia' s back but she's not the same"

Everyone started to get up except for me, Chase carried me up bridal style without hesitation.

When we got down to the lab I was shocked to see myself yelling at F-Leo with her right hand pointed at him.

I was even more shocked when I saw the engagement ring located there on her ring finger.

Everyone must have noticed that because they looked at me, then up at her.

"Why did you bring me here Leo! " she shrieked.

F-Leo started to stutter "y-you don't remember? We came-"

"We came because you wanted to pull a prank on me right before my wedding day! Leo you know how stressed out I've been these past few weeks and you use the time machine to bring me back here. Really! I already lived through this now power it up so we can go!"

"Wedding" I choked out as she looked at me surprised.

She smiled sheepishly and said "oops I wasn't suppose to say that. Well since I spoiled it, yes I'm getting married tomorrow and I couldn't be more angrier that Leo brought me to this time in my life right before I get married"

"She doesn't remember? " Bree asked F-Leo and he shook his head.

"I guess when we saved you guys, the future changed and she did too, like crazy"

Future me smacked his shoulder and said "I'm not crazy I'm stressed. There is a difference"

"Well we should get going" Future Leo said sitting on the time machine, me following pursuit as they flashed out.

I broke our silence and said "I'm getting married. That's shocking news"

Everyone started walking out of the lab but I pulled Chase's shirt as a message to stay.

When everyone left he looked at me questioningly and asked "Mia wha-"

He didn't even finished his question when I asked "did you mean it. The letter?"

He flushed red and started to stutter "w-well I mean...no...maybe...would you kill me if I said yes"

I smiled at him and said "why would I kill someone who says that they love me when I feel the exact same way about them"
