"Wow, this place is huge." I awed, stepping out of the hydra loop and into the academy.

"I'll take that." Adam told me, pulling the suitcase away from my hands.

I smiled softly at him, "Thank you Adam."

Chase followed after me, glaring down at Adam as Adam stuck his tongue out at him. Bree rolled her eyes and walked up besides me, asking, "I could give you a tour of the place if you want? It might help jog your memory."

Looking back at the boys glare down, I nodded and told her, "Sure. That'll be nice."

Turning back around, I began following Bree down the hall feeling guilty. Ever since I woke up, they've all been keen on bringing back my memory. So far, I don't remember much other than my name which I guess is a good thing.

At least I'm not a John Doe.

Bree turned to looked at me and asked, "So Mia, is anything coming back to you?"

"No. Sorry." I answered kind of guilty.

She shrugged, "Oh, it's okay. No hurry."

"Well I did remember something." I told her, noticing how she brightened up an the mention of it.

"What was it?"

"It's no big deal-"

Bree sighed, "Look, anything you remember is a big deal. Just go for it."

"Okay," I began, "Back in the hospital, I saw a woman sitting on the hospital bed as a man just kissed her in the middle of her speech and suddenly the memory of your brother Adam and I talking in a room came up. It was when he suddenly kissed me."

Mumbling quietly, Bree said dreadfully, "Oh no."

I asked her, "Out of curiosity, were Adam and I a thing?"

"No. No you weren't a thing. Trust me. That kiss meant literally nothing to you."

"Why did it mean nothing?"

Bree hesitated, "Be-because you fell...in love...with someone else."

"Well with-"

"Is that Leo calling? I think we should go meet him" She cut me off, pulling on my arm suddenly.

Well that was weird.

This chapter is short because I had writers block for a while and decided it's time to update.

I'm going to try to make the next chapter as interesting as possible.
