Forbidden Hero
"Easy, easy..." Adam cautioned as Chase and Bree helped Leo out of the hydraloop. His leg was pulled up to his knee as his other foot helped them keep himself stable.
Chase rolled his eyes, "You know, this would be a lot easier without you saying 'easy' every two seconds!"
"Sorry," Adam apologized. Bree and Chase sighed as they continued to help Leo until Adam began to chant, "Careful! Careful!"
"Uh-oh, did Leo blow chunks on the hydroloop
again?" Bob asked, once he noticed Leo's hurt state.
Leo scoffed as Bree and Chase set him down, "No, we were on a mission and I hurt my ankle."
"And then he blew chunks on the hydroloop
again." Bree told Bob, placing her hands on her hips.
That's when Adam exclaimed, "You know the drill. Bob!"
Bob's face lit up, "Puke Patrol! I'll grab the mop!"
"I've taught him well." Adam smiled once Bob was out of sight.
All the students looked at them curiously as Chase began to retell what happened, "We were evacuating a steel mill when the roof collapsed."
Bree continued, "We were pinned down and Leo had to jump over an industrial grinder to save us."
"Come on, buddy. Let's get you to the infirmary so you can get that leg checked out."
"Stop fussing!" Leo groaned, "I'm a grown man. I don't need you guys babying me!"
Entering the room, Mia greeted, "Hey guys. Guess who's here?"
Once Tasha stepped out, Leo's face lit up as he shrieked, "Mommy!"
They gave each other a tight hug as Tasha told him, "I came as soon as you texted me!"
"I'm not gonna lie, this is a grade-A boo-boo."
"We better get you to your room." She suggested, before asking, "Where is your room?"
"Oh, the other side of the island." Chase answered.
Tasha sighed, "I still can't believe you guys got your own island. For Valentine's Day, all I got was a lousy tee-shirt that said 'I married Donald."
That's when Adam's eyes widened, "Wait, you guys are married? I just thought you came over alot."
Ignoring that comment, Mia clapped her hands together and told her, "Why don't I take you to Leo's room."

"Hey Leo, Adam." Mia greeted, walking into the mentor's quarters while munching on a chocolate bar.
Instead of greeting her back, they asked in unison, "Why are you avoiding Chase?"
"How did you-?"
Leo answered, " Whenever you and Chase don' talk or haven't seen eachother in a while, you have the habit of eating any fatty foods that you can get your hands on and Chase starts getting distracted."
Adam nodded, "Oh, so that's why he ignored me all morning."
"Yeah..." Leo said, before directing his attention back to her, "So why are you avoiding Chase?"
Mia groaned. She did not want to explain her reason as to why.
"Look, Leo I don't want to talk about this right now-"
Adam's eyes widened, "You and Chase broke up!"
"What!" Mia exclaimed before shaking her head, "No way. We weren't even going out in the first place."
"Then why are you wearing makeup?"
"I'm not wearing any makeup."
That's when Adam gasped, "Oh my god woman, your beautiful."
Blushing slightly, Mia said, "I don't know what wearing any makeup had to do with Chase and I but thank you."
Giving him a smile, Adam couldn't help but mimic as Leo cut in, "It's because of that dream isn't it?"
"Yes-No-maybe...I don't know!" She exclaimed, seating herself down between Adam and Leo.
That's when Tasha had come in asking Leo, "How are you feeling today honey?"
Adam answered, wrapping his arm around Mia's shoulder, "I'm feeling fine, thanks."
She stared at his hand for a minute before concluding that this must be normal.
"I'm feeling okay, but just to be sure, you should probably whip up some of your oatmeal cookies. And don't be shy with the
raisins." Leo responded. Tasha smiled and began walking over to the kitchen.
Adam raised his left hand and requested, "Uh, I'll take a ham sandwich."
"Are you injured?"
In less than a second, Adam grabbed a metal bowl and hit his knee hard. Shutting his eyes for a second to let the pain subside, Adam requested once again, " I'll take mustard on that."
Tasha just rolled her eyes and continued on baking the cookies. That's when Chase stepped into the quarters looking down at his tablet before stopping abruptly.
Looking up, he noticed Mia in the room and smiled lightly before scowling at Adam.
"Oh hey Chase." Adam greeted, removing his arm around her shoulder.
Standing up, Mia told them, "I just remembered I have to um..." she stepped back a few steps, "...I have to...um..." she stepped back a few more steps, "...I have to...um..."
That's when she spun around and walked right out of the quarters, nibbling on some more chocolate.

"Hey sweetheart." Tasha greeted, walking into the cafeteria where Mia sat down eating a burger.
Mia looked up at her and greeted back, "Oh hey Tasha."
Sitting down across from her, Tasha asked, "Okay, what's wrong. You're eating that burger as if you hadn't eaten in days."
Placing down her burger, Mia sighed and said, "Nothing really. It's just that-"
"You haven't spoken to Chase." She finished. Mia raised an eyebrow at her till Tasha finished, "Like I said. Your eating a burger. Sweetie, tell me what's going on."
Mia sighed, "It's just that, a few nights ago I had a dream or flashback that Chase dumped me. It hurt and now I just don't want to face him and get hurt again. I know, I know I'm being ridiculous."
"Yes actually you are." Tasha said, "Honey, you don't have to hide from him just because you two broke up. The Mia I know would never hide."
She scoffed, "But that's it. I'm not the Mia you know."
"Just because you lost sight of who you once were doesn't mean it not in there now."
"That's one of the nicest things anyone has ever said to me that wasn't based on my looks." Mia smiled.
Tasha smiled back, "Your welcome. Hey have you seen Leo around? Seems as if he's gone missing."
She shook her head, "No, sorry. He might be at the main entrance waiting for the three to return."
That's when Tasha's eyes widened and suddenly she was out the door of the cafeteria. Mia in tow.

"Wow, Leo, what are the chances you'd get hurt twice in one week?" Chase asked, "Actually, I could calculate them for you if
you'd like."
"Are you okay? You hit your head pretty hard." Bree asked him, looking at the bandage on his head.
"Yeah I'm alright. I just want to get upstairs before my mom finds out." Leo told her, "I'll just tell her I have a nasty pimple."
"Good idea." Tasha suddenly said, leaning against a support beam as Mia flushed red in embarrassment.
"Thanks mom." That's when realization hit him, "Mom!"
"You deliberately disobeyed me and went on that mission." Tasha scolded, walking towards Leo.
Leo defended himself, "Look mom, I had to go on this mission. I'm sorry I disobeyed you, it won't happen again."
"Oh, I know it won't! Because you're off the
team!"
Everyone gasped.
"What?!" Leo shrieked.
Adam patted Leo's shoulder and informed Tasha, "You might have to talk a little slower, he's lost a lot of blood."
Leo ignored him and continued, "What do you mean 'I'm off the team'? These guys depend on me to have their backs. Right guys?"
"Absolutely."
"That's why we send you in first."
"That's not why we send him in first-" Adam began before his sister slapped his arm.
"What am I supposed to do with my bionic arm if I can't go on missions?"
Tasha smiled and answered, "Tons of stuff. You could change light bulbs super fast...or-or pull weeds out of the yard-ooh! You could crack walnuts. The world needs more people who could do that."
Leo continued to beg and beg but it was no use.
Tasha had already set her foot down.

"Hey guys, what are you doing?" Mia asked, walking into the training area to see Adam an Leo talking amongst themselves.
Both boys turned too look at her before Adam answered, "Leo's planning to-"
"Nothing!" Leo exclaimed, glaring at Adam, "Nothing is going on. Just telling eachother deep emotional secrets..."
Mia cringed, "Yeah, I'm out."
Once she was out of sight, Adam asked, "Secrets?"
Shrugging, Leo told him, "Mia hates talking about secrets. Especially her own."

"Thanks for dinner Tasha. It's delicious. It's so nice to have a home cooked meal again." Chase thanked, walking over to the sink, a plate in hand.
Adam looked up confused, "Really, I thought the chicken was a little dry."
Leo sighed, "I can't believe this is my last night here."
Mia smiled at him sadly, "Me neither. I'm gonna miss trying to drag your butt out of bed to go to class."
"Tasha, is there any way we can convince you to change your mind?" Bree asked looking up at Tasha.
Shaking her head, Tasha answered, "Sorry guys, my decision is final."
In an instant, the lights went off and the alarm begin to ring echoing out throughout the room.
Everyone stood up and turned towards the screen which blared brightly.
Words flashed across the screen and soon, goosebumps went up and down Mia's arms.
A category five storm was headed their way.
Leo's eyes widened, "A storm is descending on the island with eighty mile an hour winds. It's about to hit us dead on!"
That's when Chase began to instruct them, "Alright, bree and I will evacuate all students to the training area. You two batten down the hatches in here and then meet us there."
Adam spoke up, "What about Mia?"
"Yeah, what about me?" She asked., placing her hands on her hips.
There was a long pause that occurred before Chase made up his mind, "She'll help Bree and I."
Leo raised his eyebrow at him as Chase grabbed her hand and told him, "You know, for safety purposes."
Bree rolled her eyes and muttered "Sure."

Mia screamed as she held onto the rope for dear life. Spin besides her cringing at the way the wind cuts through his skin like knives. She stood behind him in order to block most of the wind from hurting him.
Chase had told her to stay put in the training area but Mia being Mia couldn't resist running after the two to help them.
As she followed them through the corridor, Mia suddenly felt something off. Trying to shove the feeling away, Mia continued to walk behind them.
Or so she thought.
In an instant, Mia suddenly found herself at one of the exits to the outdoor arena. She was confused as to how she ended up here but nonetheless opened the door to find a panicked Spin holding onto the bar near the center of the arena.
She doesn't know how she did it so quickly but she somehow was besides Spin with a rope tied around her hips.
He was in obvious shock that Mia had come to his rescue, after all they did say she was sort of a black slate like the rest of them at the moment. Then again, they also told him she was once the infamous Kim Falcon before things began to get to complicated.
As Spin held onto her outstretched hand, he realized something. Maybe Mia never really lost herself completely.
As Mia placed Spin in front of her, she began making her way towards the entrance until the winds picked up as the rope began to snap.
And that's why their in such a position screaming in hopes of someone hearing their pleas.
At least Spin was.
Mia had stopped screaming a while ago but not because she lost hope but because her eyes had glazed over and soon she was no longer outside of the academy.
But inside of the Davenport household.

"How can you just walk across the living room without being blown away?" Bree asked, yelling over the loud wind blowing throughout the house.
Mia shrugged and yelled back, "Since I know how to fly, this wind is like barbecue weather to me. Also, this is exactly how the house feels like after my dad has let out some gas."
Bree smiled at her before her expression turned serious, "Mia?"
"Yeah Bree?" She asked.
"Thanks!"
Mia looked over at her confused before she finished, "Thanks for being there for me and I'm sorry about what had happened before."
She shrugged my shoulders and told Bree, "That's what friends are for"
Bree shook her head and let out a shaky breath before finishing, "No. You were there when you found out we were bionic, you were there when Mr. Davenport was going to send us away, when you and Leo came back to save us. On our first day of school you were busy and probably couldn't have made it to the game but you did.
Before my first dance I knew that you had convinced Ethan to ask me to the dance even if you had your problems with Chase. When you trusted me enough to tell me your secret before anyone. When on our first mission as Dawson and Falcon you tried to keep me as safe as you could even if it may harm you.
When it was your birthday and we didn't celebrate it yet you forgave us without wanting anything. When you and Leo risked your lives to save my brother's and I. You didn't blame us for locking you into that elevator or giving you a concussion. You were there when Leo turned on the LEMP and you didn't even have to help but you did anyway. You are here trying to give me advice without making me feel bad about the things I said to you or the friends I've wanted to make. Your not my friend."
Mia felt my heart break when she said that until a smile broke out across Bree's face as she continued, "You always had put us first before anything, not caring if it would kill you. That doesn't describe a friend, nor a best friend. That describes family and you, Amelia Falcon, are a part of my family, your my...sister."
The two were both in tears and soon in each other's arms hugging all while trying not to let Bree fly away.
Mia mumbled something in her ear before they broke apart, "Your also family to me Bree."

"Mia!" Spin exclaimed, waking Mia from her flashback, "Look!"
Looking up, Mia smiled when she noticed Bree and Chase at the door.
Bree shouted over to them, "Just stay calm!"
Spin rolled his eyes, "I will if you could just hurry!"
Grabbing the rope, Bree quickly anchored herself to the rope and began her cautious talk to them. They were at least two feet away from the door so Bree could easily transfer each one to the other side.
"Alright Spin, I need you to let go of the rope." Bree ordered. It took a while but he hesitantly listened and held onto Bree for dear life.
Once Bree placed him into Chase's arms, the rope snapped.
Mia screamed, and awaited to feel herself weightless but it didn't happen. Opening her eyes, Mia noticed her hand holding onto Bree's hand tightly.
She smirked, "You didn't think I'd let you go so easily did you."
Mia smiled at her as they began pulling themselves inside.

"I'll be back soon. Just need to check the building to see if everything's okay." Bree told Chase and Mia before speeding off to inspect the damage done to the academy.
The two of them stayed silent, not knowing what to say. Well, on Mia's part. Chase had questions he just didn't know how to ask.
"I'm sorry," Mia sputtered out, breaking the silence, "For wandering off when you told me to stay put."
Shrugging, Chase told her, "It's alright. I shouldn't have expected you to listen anyways. You never did."
Her face lit up slightly, "I didn't."
"No," Chase smiled back.
"You guys okay?" Adam spoke up, ruining the small moment they were having.
Chase answered, tearing his eyes away from Mia, "Yeah, everyone's accounted for."
Bree sped back into the training area, informing the four, "Guys, good news. I just checked all the structures on the island. Minimal damage. Caitlin survived too."
Mia raised an eyebrow at her, "Caitlin? Who's Caitlin?"
The four shared a glance before Bree answered, "No one important."
Tasha took that moment to speak up, "That was amazing, Leo. The way you took charge and stayed calm in the face of danger! I am very impressed."
"Well, Leo does stuff like that on missions all the time." Chase informed.
"Yeah, he's always there for us." Bree added.
"Well, whatever part of him isn't severed is
always there for us." Adam explained earning a slap on the arm from Mia.
"You know, I'm still upset you lied to me about the missions," Tasha began, "But it's clear you are a big part of this team. I don't want to stand in the way of that."
Everyone cheered happily as Adam added, "And Tasha, you are always welcomed back to the island. Just stay out of the kitchen."
