"No puedo creer que él dijo eso a mi cara! Él es 15 y ya un imbécil. Sólo espera Derek, porque voy a tener que hacer una copia de algo, no es bueno, hijo de a-"

"Woah, language Mia." Chase said as we met each other in the hallway after English.

I growled and said ", sorry Chase. It's just that some jerk said something really inappropriate to me and it's so-ugh!"

Chase's eyes hardened for a second before he shook his head and said ", well I'm sorry about what that guy said to you. I know that he's going to get a fist full of Falcon after this is over."

"You know it," I mumbled, cracking my knuckles. Chase laughed lightly before taking my hand. Ever since I woke up from the coma, he's been a little protective. I mean on the first day of school when I ran off, he spent the whole afternoon looking for me.

I haven't seen my family in forever, well my siblings anyway. My parents probably don't care, I don't think so. Probably not.

Tasha as well kind of kept me in lock down mode so it's their house, school, then their house again. I was lucky to escape their clutches yesterday but hey, I got alone time so bonus!

We're still friends, believe me. If we weren't, I would have pushed him against the lockers and kissed him. Like in Boy meets World except that we're older.

"Morning germ sacks!" I heard Principal Perry shriek, making me wince. "I know you've all been complaining that the technology isn't quite…" The microphone malfunctioned "Isn't quite…" it malfunctioned again. Growing frustrated, Perry hit it with her palm as a loud screech echoed though the halls. Most of the student body covered their ears as I winced.

"State of the art," Perry continued "So, thanks to yours truly, we're getting cutting edge equipment for the whole school to enjoy! JoJo! Betty! Come on girls, let's wheel it like it's hot!"

Two lunch ladies wheeled in a box with a silver covering as Perry yelled "Behold Mission Creek High's brand new media center!"

Once the sheet was off, it revealed an old television (like the one from 'I love Lucy') with a funky smell to it.

"I don't think you can call it technology if you have to change the channel with a pair of pliers," Leo commented, raising an eyebrow.

"Why do I smell Formaldehyde?" Chase asked, smelling the air a bit. So that's the weird smell.

"Cause, I found it on a curb outside the morgue." Oh no, just...no. "I'm getting all my Christmas presents there too. Aunt Dolly's getting sheets."

Oh god.

Chase pointed towards the century old television and asked ",How is this thing new?"

"It's new to you lady face," Perry argued as I winced.

"I don't like that woman one bit." I mumbled, laying my head on Chase's shoulder.

Leo looked over to us oddly before shaking his head and mumbling something I couldn't hear but Chase stiffened.

"Okay, let's fire up the media center!" Perry said, plugging in the antique. It lit up for a few seconds before spazzing a bit as the lights went out.

"Minor setback! For the record, you all look much better in this lighting." Perry reassured.

And that's how our day began.

"Woah," I mumbled astonished, walking into my school...but it wasn't my school. It was a hallway filled with high tech gear and happy kids.

"Cool right?" I heard Leo ask me, as I passed by my locker.

"Really cool. Oh hey Mr. Davenport!" I greeted and I saw principal Perry besides him. "Hey Perry! " I greeted but she responded in a weird voice ", Greetings, space waster."

"And I see you gave Principal Perry a makeover, I especially love what you've done to her face." Leo joked but his smirk was soon wiped off when she yelled ",Zip it Dooley!"

"That's not Principal Perry. That's Robo-Perry! She's robot!"

"And she's beautiful!" I heard Perry exclaim.

Leo covered his eyes as they gave each other kisses "Make it stop!"

Mr. Davenport continued to explain ",Anyway, I designed Robo-Perry so she could roam the halls, handing out detentions while-"

"I'm on a three hour lunch break...Or lurking elsewhere." She said, placing a finger on her lip as if acting mysterious. I looked back at Robo-Perry and it was as if the life was being drained out of me for a second. I took a step back, just to be safe.

"How could you do this?" Chase asked angrily.

"Simple! I took the foundations of robot I built for private security... and I repurposed the software and then.... of course, I matched her vocal pattern. It wasn't easy matching the gravel truck unloading with a bear in labor, but I got it." He answered like it was no big deal.

"I always wanted a super cute twin sister! I'm going to buy us matching bikinis!" They both modeled for us and suddenly the image popped into my head making me want to puke.

"And I'm gonna gouge my eyes out," Leo said, pointing towards a different direction.

I looked around the hall and tried to find my brother, hoping I could catch a glimpse of him but failed. I began to get a nagging feeling in the back of my head as I walked towards the entrance of the school when I suddenly stopped. I couldn't leave, I have responsibilities here and though I didn't want to do them, I have to.

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked them once lunch came around.

"We were shunned...by her!" Leo said pointing over to Robo-Perry who was yelling at a kid. Yep, this is bad.

"Great! Everybody at school hates us!"

"Yeah but now its high tech hate!"

I sat down besides Leo and patted him on the back ", I don't hate you guys. Sure your sometimes annoying, a bit dramatic, sort of rud-"

"We get it!" Leo said exasperated.

Mr. Davenport walked towards us questioningly ",Hey! How come you guys aren't eating in the Davenportaria?"

"Funny thing. When your dad creates an even worse version of the worse principal ever, kids tend to turn on you."

Suddenly, Chase's banana ended up a few feet away from us.

"Look, don't worry; I'm sure this will all blow over once kids get use to Robo-Perry. Remember when you first met Leo? You couldn't stand him. And Mia sort of hated you guys for hogging Leo all the time."

Leo slowly cocked his head at Chase as Chase looked over at me, wide eyed.

"Your so dead Davenport." I growled as Mr. Davenport yelped at my expression. Right before I was about to lunge at him, Perry came and greeted "Donnie D!"

Mr. Davenport yelled back "Principal P!" But when he said P his voiced sort of cracked.

Leo shook his head ",Old people. You don't think you are, but you are."

"You, are a genius!"

"And you are a master of the obvious."

"Robo-Perry is amazing! I know it's only been a few days but...do you smell that?" Perry asked, taking a wiff of the air. Chase smirked and answered ",Moist cat food?"

"I was running late! I grabbed a can! I thought it was tuna! Live with it!" My eyes widend "Fear! It's fear, and it's everywhere! It's the best smell in the world!" She said. I had to disagree. The best smell in the world is - you know what, not gonna go there or else I'm going to...

"Mia, hello?" I heard Leo snap as I woke up from my dream state. Chase has the best smell, it's intoxicating. Woah, I'm hanging out with Catlin too much. Wake up Mia, wake up!

"I prefer crisply minted hundreds...but whatever floats your boat, Perry bomb."

I looked at Mr. Davenport wide eyed and shook my head slowly. No, that's-just no.

"Listen, I was telling the superitendent how wonderful Robo-Perry is and he's bringing the entire school board by this afternoon to check her out! Soon, if we're lucky, there will be a Robo-Perry in every school in the district!"

"Oh no," I mumbled.

"After that, every school in America!"

"Great! Now even kids we've never met will hate us!" Leo yelled over to Chase as I let my hair drape around my face like a curtain.

"Donald Davenport; the children's savior. I'm gonna make so much money!" Mr. Davenport squealed like a child.

"What are you doing! " I asked harshly as Chase led me out of class. He answered excitedly ", we're going to end this reign of double Perry's. You in?"

"Who's we?"

"Leo and I." He said as I laughed at his expression. Chase suddenly stopped and turned to look at me. My laughter faded as our eyes locked. We started to close in as he mumbled ", I haven't heard you laugh like that in in a while."

"Well, maybe somethings are worth laughing for. Don't you think?"

He stayed silent just looking into my eyes. It was as if the world shrunk down and it was just us two. Staring at each other as if searching for something words cannot express. Chase placed his hand on my cheek and slowly started to draw me in closer. Our noses bumped for a bit, making my heart beat even faster. Chase was a bit hesitate but as his lips brushed against mine I heard someone yell ", Hey! Aren't you kids suppose to be in class!"

I froze, man we've been caught.

Taking a deep breath, I felt something thump inside me and suddenly I looked at my teacher and told her in a monotone voice ", go back to class. You didn't see anything. "

Her eyes locked with mine and blanked for a second before walking back to her class. I felt Chase's hand hold me tighter as he asked ", what was that?"

"I think...I think I just controlled her." I answered, staring at the place where she once was.

Chase pulled my hand ", Let's go before we get caught. "

"What took you so long?" Leo asked harshly ", I had to hide in the bathroom for 20 minutes when principal Perry did her daily walk around."

"Why 20 minutes?" I asked.

"Do you know how slow that woman walks after lunch?"

Leo looked around the halls before saying ",Okay coast is clear! Everyone's in class and Robo-Perry is charging."

Chase let go of my hand I forgot he was holding",I just need to find out where Mr. Davenport put her control panel..."

He tapped the side of his temple and said exasperated ", Hundreds! Hundreds of places to choose from and he puts it there!"

I stepped closer to see where but I immediately regretted it once I was directly besides Chase and felt nauseous. Leo noticed this so he grabbed my wrist, patted Chase on the back and said ", well...have fun with that." Before dragging me away.

Once we were near the lockers, I collapsed against the wall and looked at my wrists automatically. The scars left on my wrists from Marcus disappeared for some odd reason. Wait a second.

"Leo, is Robo-Perry made out of cyanide?" I asked panicked.

Leo nodded as he returned back with Chase. Why does this seem so familiar. Wait!  Sparrow once told me about Cyanide. It can either work with you...or against you and in this case since I'm both super and...villan, it did both.

I looked back up to see Mr. Davenport panicked and glance at Robo-Perry Perry before being picked up and thrown into the air. In less than I second I saw a streak of light run and catch him in his arms. Or should I say her arms.

"We need to get you out of here." I heard someone whisper behind me. Ali.

I turned to look at her as she lead me into the shadows of the hallway before going towards a full on sprint. The last thing I saw was Kadie in her superhero outfit placing Mr. Davenport back on his feet before her hair lit up.

"Come on. We have to go!" Ali urged, running even faster. I was really confused, what the hell is going on?

"Ali, what's wrong? Why are we leavi-"

"I'll explain later but for now, your going to have to trust me." Ali responded before exiting the school. Her light blue dress was ruffling in the wind before it started glowing slightly.

By the time we got to our destination (which was at the place we first met) her dress was glowing brightly. It was almost blinding. What really shocked me was that she dragged towards the water and said ", put this on." Before giving me a blue necklace and jumping into the water. I stared at it for a second before putting it on and jumping into the water.

At first I was just swimming before my feet began to feel a bit heavy and before you know it I was sinking. My first Instinct was human, trying as hard as I can to swim to the top but failing miserably. I was almost scared to look down but when I did, I let out a shrieked before closing my mouth, preserving all the oxygen in my lungs that I had left. I had a flipping tail! No pun intended. I had mu top on but my pants and shoes were gone.

My next instinct was super, using what I had to help myself get to the top but right before I did I felt Ali grab my wrist and pull me up as I gasped for air.

"You know you can breathe underwater right?" Ali asked me but right before I was about to answer, she pulled me under the water again.

"Don't *gasp* do that *gasp* again *gasp* ever!" I told Ali once we got back to the cliffs. I was so out of breath once we were back on land that I collapsed on the sand. Ali just took me underwater and hid me in a cave as she swam away. Around 8 pm, she came back and took me here and still hasn't answered my question.

"Ali, what in the world was-"

"Mia!"

I turned around and saw Chase running up to me. By the time I turned back to face Ali, she was gone.

"Mia, are you ok? Where the hell were you?" Chase asked, helping me off the ground. My legs were so tired that I collapse onto his chest, breathing heavily before shutting my eyes.
