"Focus, you got this."

Seonghwa takes in a deep breath, closing his eyes as he focused on trying to channel the mind link. Wooyoung sat with him outside, his mate San was the one who was trying really hard to get him to learn the basic trait that most wolves know how to do by the time they are six. San was a different alpha than Mingi. He was patient, calm, although he and Wooyoung bicker a lot. Seonghwa could tell the two hold a love so deep for one another, that even though they bicker and fight a lot, at the end of the day they go running right back to one another.

He felt a pang in his chest from that sudden jealousy, but it was quick to wash away as San touches his hand, "Can you hear me?"

Seonghwa, with his eyes still shut, shakes his head and frowns, "No, I don't hear anything other than the wind rustling the trees."

San sighs softly, "Open your eyes," Seonghwa did as instructed and San tilts his face to meet his eyes, "Let's try another way, with eye contact. Do you think you can do it?"

Seonghwa bites his lip, "That seems very awkward."

"It will be yes, but we're trying to get you to be able to communicate. This is what we use when we hunt together. It's very important to have so we know your next move and so that way our hunting strategies are aligned and made aware to everyone." Wooyoung was holding Minjun, who was playing with Wooyoung's hands and rings while they talked and trained.

Seonghwa nods, "I understand... but... what if I can't?"

"You're a wolf, aren't you?" San smiles, "Every wolf has this ability. You have just never used it before."

Telling the news to the pack about who Seonghwa was and where he came from was the scariest moment of Seonghwa's life. He expected everyone of the pack members to immediately tell Mingi they didn't feel comfortable with having someone who is being searched for in their home. However, the outcome he received was totally unexpected. Instead, everyone was supportive, and they even formed a plan for extra precautions and safety measures for not just everyone but for Seonghwa and Minjun.

Mingi felt relieved that they were all supportive once they knew the truth, as was Seonghwa. However, he couldn't help but fear that deep down they were just trying to make him feel better and they didn't want him here at all. After all, they have children to think about. Innocent lives were at risk the longer Seonghwa and Minjun stayed. But yet, he stayed and every day the others prove to Seonghwa that they care for not only him, but for his baby boy.

"Now, focus on my eyes," San spoke softly, tilting his chin down and suddenly looking much more intimidating, "Look into my eyes, focus on the color of my irises. Focus on my pupils."

Seonghwa did as instructed, as much as he wanted to look away he continues to look into the Alpha's eyes and suddenly his mind becomes clear. He couldn't hear anything, all he can see is San's eyes. Noticing the flint of red flecks in his brown irises, one wouldn't notice this right off the bat but the indication that he is in fact an alpha is right there in broad daylight.

Can you hear me?

Seonghwa gasps, jerking back away from San and blinking his eyes rapidly. San held his hands up, Wooyoung reaches out for him, "Hey hey hey, easy Hwa. Easy."

"I-" Seonghwa swallows, looking between the mated pair as he pants, "I heard you."

San smiles, the biggest smile Seonghwa has ever seen on him to date, his dimples created craters in his cheeks as he nods, "You can hear when we talk to you now."

"How-"

"Focus is key, some people when introduced to new packs struggle with opening a new mind link. But considering you have never done it before..." San looks to Wooyoung, then looks down at Minjun, "We will do the same when Minjun gets old enough to start training to channel his wolf."

Seonghwa smiles, "I'm sure he's going to have a blast with this."

"And once you get the hang of it all, you can even have personal conversations with people connected into your pack," San smirks, turning to look at Wooyoung before the omega gasps and slaps his arm.

San laughs loudly, dodging Wooyoung's slaps as he looks to Seonghwa, "At least we got through today. But I don't want to tire you anymore than you already are. We're done for the day."

"You may be, but it is my turn with him now," a deep voice spoke behind Seonghwa, his wolf bristling and practically purring in his head from the sound.

San arches his eyebrow, smirking a little as he chuckles, leaning in to whisper to Seonghwa before standing up, "Remember, control your thoughts until you can control mind link."

Seonghwa gasps softly, blushing a deep red as San laughs and helps Wooyoung stand. Minjun looks around for his mother, eyes wide just like Seonghwa's and once he laid eyes on him he whines. Seonghwa shushes his baby, kissing his cheek, "You're alright my love, I have some more training to do and then I'm all yours."

"I'll feed him some of your milk set back," Wooyoung smiles, rocking Minjun softly, "It's about time for naps for all of the kiddos anyway. While you train I'll just put him down for a nap after he nurses and set him in his bassinet in your room. Sound good?"

"Thank you," Seonghwa smiles, kissing his baby once more before the other omega leaves with his mate and the one month old baby. He could hear Minjun whining and working into a cry, and as much as he wanted to run to him and take him from Wooyoung he knew he had to go do some more training with Mingi.

Speaking of, the red haired man clears his throat softly, making Seonghwa turn to look at him. Mingi smiles softly, "Shall we go?"

Seonghwa nods, crossing his arms from the slightly cold autumn air. He started worrying about having his baby out here for as long as they had with no blanket, that is until Mingi chuckles, "You're mind link communications is on, Minjun will be okay. If he gets sick, we luckily have the best midwife in the whole country living with us."

Seonghwa frowns, "You can hear me?"

"Loud and clear," Mingi winks, "But don't worry, we're just going to go on a small run and then we'll be back so you don't have to worry about being gone from him for too long."

Seonghwa pouts, continuing to follow the alpha as they reach the edge of the woods. Mingi strips his shirt off and hangs it over one of the branches of the trees, reaching to undo his button for his jeans too, "Well, what are you waiting for? Strip down."

"You mean," Seonghwa blushes, realizing Mingi is getting naked right in front of him as if he had no shame at all, "Get naked!? Right here, right now, when it's cold out?!"

Mingi laughs, which causes Seonghwa's face to burn hotter. The alpha hangs his jeans up with his T-shirt, "Well you don't want to ruin that sweater do you?"

"Well no-"

"Then I suggest you strip," Mingi smirks, "If you shift into your wolf form with your clothes on, they'll rip and you won't have clothes to put back on when we get back."

Seonghwa frowns, "That explains a lot... okay."

He turns his back to the alpha, and slowly starts stripping off his sweater. Looking over his shoulder, he catches sight of Mingi watching him and he clears his throat, "Could you turn away please?"

"What have you-" Mingi was cut off from the look Seonghwa gave him and he sighs, "Okay, I won't look."

Minding his word, he turns his back to Seonghwa and crosses his arms, shrugging, "Is this okay?"

"Thank you," Seonghwa nods, he finished stripping out of his clothes and hung them up on the branch next to Mingi's. He shivers from the cold as he takes in a deep breath, covering his cock with his hands, "Now what?"

Mingi chuckles, "Now you shift."

"I..." Seonghwa pouts, "I haven't shifted since I was pregnant and before I got too big to hunt..."

Mingi hums, "Can I turn around?"

"No!"

Mingi laughs, "I'm not going to stare at you like a pervert. I just need to face you to talk to you."

"You are talking just fine."

"Seonghwa-"

"Fine! Just-" Seonghwa growls, "Don't look at me too long okay?"

"I won't stare at you, I promise."

Seonghwa takes a deep breath, "Okay, but please don't stare. My body is not how it used to be..."

"I don't care about that," Mingi spoke softly, turning around and minding his word not looking at Seonghwa's body throughly. Instead, he locks eyes with the omega's and holds his hand out to take one of Seonghwa's, "Okay, so focusing is key to any major thing like mind linking and shifting. So when you are trying to shift, you want to focus and think about your wolf. Do you remember what your wolf looks like?"

Seonghwa nods, he knew vaguely what he looked like in his wolf form. Well, he knew what his face looked like. His all white fur and his bright blue eyes. Mingi smiles, dropping his hand from Seonghwa's and the omega actually whimpers from the loss. Mingi blushes, clearing his throat, "Now, think about your wolf. Close your eyes if you have to, if it helps you focus."

Seonghwa nods, closing his eyes and channeling his every thought into shifting and channeling his wolf. Mingi chuckles, "Well done."

Seonghwa snaps his eyes open, looking over his shoulder to see his all white fur all over his body now. His eyes suddenly did seem more sharper tuned and his sense of smell was stronger. He did it, he was a wolf now. Yapping, he turns in circles excitedly before bowing to Mingi wanting to play. Mingi shifts, his all black wolf shakes out before he too bows playfully.

Then, he takes off running.

Seonghwa yaps, running after him through the trees and participating in a brief game of tag with the alpha. He felt alive once more.
