Dear diary,

I am very excited to tell you that I made a new friend!
I don't think his family likes me much, but he's my friend and that's all that matters. He's a cutie too! Mama says he can come over whenever he wants.

His brothers are awfully scary...I met him when he was hiding in the meadow from them. He showed me a bruise on his cheek. I gave it a kiss so maybe it can get better soon.

Mama sent me over with some treats, but I'm going to meet with Arthur in the meadow we met. I don't want to meet his brothers yet. I don't want to get me or him hurt.
