DECEMBER 2018 WAS THE BIGGEST YEAR FOR MAGDALENA MORENO AND OSCAR PIASTRI; TWO OF THE YOUNGEST OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALISTS. But as fate would have it, there are two sides to every story. 

Nena who loved the ice almost as much as she loved being a winner had fallen deep for her partner — it wasn't unheard of by any means; it just never lasted. Oscar wasn't just any partner either, they'd been partners since they were four and five; Oscar knew Nena better than she knew herself. 

So of course, it was a shock to both her and the general public when he announced their split. Nena and Oscar would no longer skate together — it seemed that he had never really ever considered their partnership as anything more than professional.
