SHORT SUMMARY. his dreams of eternal beauty come at a price.

PLOT. dorian gray needed eternal youth the way plain men needed oxygen. the world was his for the taking, but the ugliness and the thought of time catching up to him was to much for the young man to bare and with the painting getting more and more grotesque everyday, dorian knew he was running out of time.

then dorian gray gets what he wishes. he gets his immortality, but that comes with a price he didn't know he needed to pay until basil is lying dead at his feet and is mouth is covered in his blood.

EXTRAS. basically this is the story of what would have happened if dorians search for immortality led him to eventually being turned into a vampire.

- this plot is left intentionally vague because even though I want to write the hell out of this story, I have so much going on that I don't feel like I can give it the justice it deserves so I'll leave a lot of the major details up to whoever decides to write it.

- dorian gray is obviously the character from oscar wildes 'the picture of dorian gray' and anyone that wants this plot has to have read the novel so you can understand the complexity of dorians character.

- I will probably be very picky about who I let have this plot, just because dorian is a very complex character and I don't want him to be seen as 'out of character'.

- also the love interest for dorian is something that I didn't want to say because I think I could imagine dorian with a multitude of characters, and his relationship with each of them would be very different, so I'm leaving that up to whoever decides to write the story, as long as they can give me a thought out explanation as to why they're deciding to make him be that person, the character has to be a man though because I can only really picture dorian with men.
