Chapter 3: The adventures of Bob and Dylan
'Whose Bob and Dylan' I thought to myself.
I turned my head to see my grandmothers bougainvillea covered pavilion, now towered over me.
"BOB!"
"DYLAN!"
I looked to see that the lion plaque on the back wall of the pavilion, that normally sprayed water out of it's mouth (Yes my grandmother owns lots of fountains), was speaking to a cerement fish that normally held a sheet of glass as a table.
But instead of holding the glass the fish was doing the worm around the pavilion, yelling insults at the lion.
Tia skipped across the pathway to the pavilion, I ran to catch up with her. She then proceeded to fly up a chair so she could rest her wings, and left me below.
"Do you ever stop moving?" I grumble, as I attempted to climb up.
Key word attempt.
"Do you need a leg up, sweetheart?" I turn to see a pair of brown eyes twinkling with mischief belonging to a young man around my age (I'm 17 by the way).
"No." I turn back to the chair for another attempt.
"Really? Cause you really seem to be struggling there princess." I turn back to the boy.
"Piss off."
He raised his arm to his chest to dramatically show that he was hurt, "That hurt, pumpkin."
I took a step back to view who was speaking to me. He was a young man with brown hair that went passed his ear, he was wearing loose leather pants they looked like those short joggers, furthermore he was shirtless.
"My eyes are up here, sugar cube." He smirked, I shot him a dirty look. "Your probably wondering where me shirt went, aren't you?"
I turned crossed my arms and turned my head. " Fine suite yourself, honey-bun"
"My name is Luna. Learn to use it."
"Well hello Looney, my name is Mal." He winked at me.
I opened my mouth to say something, when he got up in my face and asked," Why are your eyes silver?"
"Cause reasons. That's why!" I turned my head away from him as I blushed furiously.
"Jeez, I wasn't trying to be rude or anything Looney." He sighed as he walked away, and my face heated up.
"Oh and blush quieter" He said as he waved behind him.
"Teehee?" Tia looked down off of the chair to see me red in the face.
"I'm fine, can you give me an arm up?" She nodded her head yes, and reached down with her left arm and hoisted me up.
We continued to watch the fish and lion bicker about being able to move and not being able to move. I looked up into the branches of the bougainvillea above us, and saw a little village of homes made out of the branches of the bougainvillea. Walking around the branches above us I noticed creatures smaller than myself. They wore overalls and dresses made out of leaves, with shoes made out of seedpods, and atop of all of their heads sat a pink Daffodil to act as a hat. They were a light foam green color and had pointy ears, furthermore they had beetle wings.
"See even the pesky pixies in the village above can move around, doesn't that make you jealous?" Bob the fish asked Dylan the lions head.
"Yes it does! Are you happy now!" Dylan screeched.
"Actually it d-"
DINGGGGG!
"Hold that thought Bob. Lady Mara is hoisting a meeting." Dylan whisperer.
"I know." Bob stopped what he was doing and began to follow the rock path to the other end of the garden.
"Take notes for me!" She called out.
"Always!"
"Whats going on?" I turn to ask Tia, but she had vanished.
"TIA!"
"TeeHEE! TeeHEE!" she ushered me forwards to follow Bob, to meet this Lady Mara.
