After leaving Hong Kong Clay Pot restaurant, Oliver and his men took Michael to his place. Once they arrived, Mia stepped out of the can and walked Michael to his home, and the two teens softly spoke to one another. Meanwhile, Aurora is asleep in the vehicle since her jet lag came to her, causing the young teen to fall into a deep sleep. 

" Um. Thanks for celebrating mine and my sister's sixteenth birthday," Mia softly smiled at Michael. 

" Despite the day being so unusual, I had fun," Michael honestly tells Mia. 

Mia amusingly giggled, but she stopped and sadly sighed when she recalled that Lilly is Michael's younger sister. 

" Tomorrow is going to be a long awkward day for me," Mia mumbled. 

" Why do you say that?" Michael asked, looking and sounding concerned. 

" I share most of my classes with your sister, Lilly," Mia reminds Michael. " And it is going to be so awkward facing Lilly in school tomorrow since earlier today. I told her off because of her rude behavior towards my sister," The young teen softly whined. 

" If my sister encounters you at school, ignore her. She needs to learn her lesson that her rude behavior can damage her relationship with those around her," Michael firmly tells Mia. 

Mia nods her head in response, and she then hugs Michael, causing the young teen to get shy. Unbeknown to them, Oliver was spying on them from inside the car. 

" Why is Mia hugging that boy?" Oliver softly asked Santiago. 

" Perhaps he is one of Mia's suitors," Santiago merely responded. 

Oliver twitched at the idea of a boy courting his youngest niece. 

" I might as well send some bodyguards with Mia when she goes to school tomorrow," Oliver mumbled since he remembered that today is a Tuesday and Mia has school the next day. 

Santiago amusingly stared at Oliver. 

Oliver playfully glared at Santiago. 

" Phillipe would have wanted me to shoo off suitors that try to pursue our beautiful princesses' hearts," Oliver sternly tells Santiago. 

" Act natural, sir. Mia is coming," Santiago sneakily points at Mia, who is walking towards the car. 

Oliver fixed his tie with his free hand since Aurora is using his other arm as a pillow. 

" I'm back. Thanks for allowing me to drop Michael off," Mia kindly smiled at Oliver as she steps inside the car with Santiago entering behind her, and he closed the door, causing the vehicle to drive away. 

" He's your friend. A friend of my nieces is a friend of mine," Oliver fondly smiled at Mia. 

Mia blushes, feeling happy to hear Oliver call her 'his niece.' 

Two hours and a half later, on a freeway to Oliver's new place, Mia lightly bites her lips as she turns her gaze to Oliver. 

" Be honest with me, Uncle Ollie," Mia whispers as she glanced at Aurora, who is softly snoring, which lets her know that her older twin sister is in a deep sleep. 

" Yes?" Oliver looked at Mia with a concerned expression. 

" Are you going to drop Aurora and me at my Mom's place since she is, you know, the one suppose to be looking after us?" Mia softly asked Oliver. 

Oliver frowns when he sees Mia looking at him with a cautious expression. 

" No. You two will be staying with me for the night," Oliver reassured Mia, causing the young teen to sigh in relief. 

" Even though Helen is you and Aurora's birth mother, from how you informed me how she treated you and your sister so far, she is no mother at all, which means I cannot allow her to have custody of you two," Oliver firmly tells Mia. 

Mia's chocolate brown eyes intently stared at Oliver's dark chocolate brown eyes. 

" Does that-Does that mean you are going to have a custody battle with Mom so that you can have custody of Aurora and me?" Mia asked as she stares at Oliver with a hopeful gaze. 

" Knowing Helen, she would be delighted to give custody of Aurora to me. However, when it comes to you, it will be a battle," Oliver honestly tells Mia. 

Mia frowns, figuring out that Helen would not want to give her away to Oliver despite her and Helen arguing earlier in the day. 

" I know mom has raised me for sixteen years. But, witnessing her speak horribly about Aurora and wishing that she was a stillborn made my loving views of her vanished," Mia sadly tells Oliver as she begins to cry. 

Oliver's dark chocolate brown eyes narrowed when he hears that Helen wished that Aurora was stillborn. 

' Phillipe. What did you see in that woman?' Oliver sadly asked himself as his free hand reached out to Mia, and he tightly grasped his youngest niece's hand. 

" Don't worry, Mia. I assure you that I will get custody of you, and you will get raised alongside your twin sister, which you two deserve," Oliver honestly tells Mia. 

Mia sadly smiled at Oliver, looking and feeling relieved that she might get raised alongside Aurora. 

" I am aware that you have school tomorrow, but how about you and Aurora spend time with one another. Try to get to know one another more," Oliver fondly smiled at Mia. 

" I would love that, but my school uniform and school supplies are at my house," Mia mumbled, feeling and looking awkward at the idea of returning home knowing Helen would be there. 

" In the morning, I can accompany you to your house. That way, you can pack all of your belongings while I have a lovely catch-up with Helen," Oliver fondly ruffled Mia's bushy, curly dark brown hair. 

" Here is the key to my place!" Mia excitedly pulls out her house key from her purse. 

" Santiago," Oliver glanced at Santiago. 

" Yes, sir," Santiago nods his head in response as he turns his gaze to Mia, and he holds his hand out to the young teen. 

" Here you go," Mia gently placed the key on Santiago's hand, and she then turns her gaze to Oliver. " Are we almost to the house? I'm getting tired," The young teen asked her paternal uncle. 

Oliver looks out the window, and he smiled when he sees the car leave the freeway and onto the busy road. 

" We will be there soon," Oliver reassured Mia. 

Mia nods her head as she turns her gaze to Aurora, and she fondly smiled at her older twin sister, finding her adorable when she sleeps. 

Thirty minutes later, the car drove through the grand gates of Oliver's new residence. The security formally bowed when they saw their Ambassador in the vehicle. 

" Mia. We are here," Oliver pushed a button so that the window can go down. 

Mia's chocolate brown eyes blinked as she follows Oliver's gaze, and her eyes widened when she sees her paternal uncle's home. 

" Your home-Your home is gorgeous!" Mia shouts. 

" This home will soon be your home," Oliver softly tells Mia. 

Mia's heart skipped a beat when she hears that this gorgeous mansion will soon be her new home once Oliver wins custody of her. 

Mia looks at her surroundings, and she shivered when she felt the chilling air hitting her on the face, causing Oliver to close the window. 

" Are we close to the beach?" Mia asked. 

" The beach is our backyard," Oliver informs Mia. 

" Shut up!" Mia shouts, looking at Oliver in disbelief. 

Oliver amusingly chuckled since Mia's surprised expression reminded him of his youngest child and only daughter, Esperanza. 

The car soon parks in front of the mansion as everyone carefully gets out of the vehicle. Mia looked at her surroundings with a mixture of emotions. Meanwhile, Aurora is peacefully sleeping in Oliver's embrace. 

" Ambassador Renaldi," The Head Butler opens the grand doors as he and several maids formally bowed to Oliver. 

Mia's chocolate brown eyes widened when she sees many servants bowing to Oliver as though he is royalty. Then she blushed in embarrassment when she recalled Helen informing her that her father's family is royalty. 

' I need to get used to all of this,' Mia tells herself, and her chocolate brown eyes blinked when she sees several cars entering the property. She then saw all of Santiago's men get out of the vehicles. 

" Mia. Go inside and make yourself at home," Oliver fondly smiled at Mia when he sees his youngest niece looked at her surroundings with a mixture of emotions. 

" Um. But. I don't even know where I am going to be sleeping?" Mia asked, looking and sounding embarrassed. 

" Holly Blackthorn. Poppy Williams," Oliver turns his gaze to two female maids, who stepped forward, and they formally bowed to him and Mia. 

" Meet my youngest niece, Mia Thermopolis. Mia. Meet Holly Blackthorn and Poppy Williams. They will be your maids. So, if you need anything, don't be shy to ask them," Oliver kindly introduced Holly and Poppy to Mia. 

Mia looks forward, and she noticed that Holly Blackthorn looks to be a bit older than her, in her early twenties with long, wavy blonde hair and sparkly blue eyes, wearing a maid attire. 

" Nice to meet you, Lady Thermopolis," Holly formally bows to Mia. 

Mia blushes, looking and feeling a bit overwhelmed since she finds Holly gorgeous and is shocked that the young female is one of her maids. 

Mia then turns her gaze to Poppy Williams, and she noticed that the other female also looks a bit older than her, in her early twenties with long, wavy black hair and sparkling blue eyes, wearing a maid attire. 

" Nice to meet you, Lady Thermopolis," Poppy formally bows to Mia. 

Mia stuttered, feeling and looking speechless that two gorgeous young ladies are her maids. She shyly stared at her feet, thinking that she looked plain beside them. 

" Holly. Poppy. Please escort Mia to her bedroom," Oliver kindly asked Holly and Poppy. 

" Of course," Holly and Poppy nod their heads as they turned around. 

" Mia. Your maids are going to show you to your rooms," Oliver gently pats Mia's back while making sure that Aurora is secure. 

" Um. Okay! Good night, Uncle Ollie!" Mia yells out as she shyly walks with Holly and Poppy to her chambers. 

" Alastor Wilson. Emmanuel Kennedy," Oliver turns around as two men walked past Santiago, and they stood in front of the Ambassador. 

" You two will be in charge of looking after my youngest niece, Mia," Oliver firmly tells Alastor and Emmanuel. 

Twenty-five-year-old black-haired and dark brown-eyed Alastor Wilson formally bowed to Oliver. 

" I assure you, Ambassador Renaldi. That I will protect Lady Thermopolis with my life," Alastor honestly tells Oliver. 

As Alastor stepped back, twenty-five-year-old black-haired and brown-eyed Emmanuel Kennedy formally bowed to Oliver. 

" If someone dares to look at Lady Thermopolis the wrong way, I will make sure to torture them and then kill them and then feed their bodies to the vultures," Emmanuel honestly Oliver. 

" You two stand guard outside of Mia's room, please," Oliver firmly tells Alastor and Emmanuel as the two men bowed then leave. 

" Annalise Richards. Rosalba Jones. Hugo Walker. And Jaxon Kennedy. Follow me to my eldest niece, Aurora's quarters. The rest of you can go rest," Oliver tells everyone as the rest of the servants leave while those who got called and Santiago followed the Ambassador to Aurora's bedroom.
