A ringing sound grabs Mia's attention causing the young teen to pull out her cell phone from her purse. She looks down at the screen, and she lightly bites her lips when she sees that her mother, Helen, is calling her.

" It's my-um, our mom," Mia softly informed Aurora.

Aurora conflictingly stared at Mia when she hears that their mother, Helen, is calling her younger twin sister.

" Pick it up," Aurora softly tells Mia.

Mia nods her head in response as she goes to pick up the phone call.

" Hey, Mom," Mia kindly greets Helen.

Aurora shyly looks away, and she sees Benjamim's back facing them. She blushed, looking and feeling embarrassed since Mia was about to pepper spray the poor man. She glanced back at her younger twin sister, telling her that she will be by Benjamin's side.

Mia nods her head as she watched Aurora walked towards Benjamin. She then sees the two softly speak to one another, causing her to pay attention to Helen.

" Are you still at the mall?" Helen kindly asked Mia.

" Yeah. Are you by yourself? Or is Aurora with you?" Mia asked, looking and sounding curious as to what Helen will tell her.

" Oh, no! I plan to pick Aurora tomorrow morning since I want to spend time with my little girl," Helen smoothly lies to Mia.

Mia sadly frowned when she realized that Helen is lying to her since Aurora explained to her that their mother picked her up at the California Child Welfare Social Services. Then the two argued, causing her to meet Benjamin, and then the two twin sisters met at the mall.

" I think Aurora will be okay spending the night with the Social Workers," Helen merely tells Mia.

Mia opened her mouth to say something, but Helen continued to speak.

" Guess what! Your friend and Lilly's brother, Michael, came by to give you your gift. But, I told him, you weren't home, so he is now with me heading to the mall to pick you and Lilly up so that we can stop by at the Chinese Buffet," Helen changes the subject.

" Mom. I have decided to stop being friends with Lilly. Which means she is not going to celebrate my sixteenth birthday," Mia confessed to Helen.

" What?!" Helen shouts alongside the tires' screeching sound that came from the other side of the phone. Mia even heard Michael worriedly calling out,' Ms. Thermopolis! Watch out! You are about to hit the car in front of us,' to Helen.

" What do you mean you and Lilly aren't friends? You two have been friends since Kinder," Helen worriedly asked Mia.

" I know Lilly has been my friend since Kinder, but now that I am older, I am starting to realize how heartless she is to others. I'm sorry, Michael if you hear this conversation. I know she is your sister, but I did not like how she treated my twin sister," Mia firmly tells Helen and Michael.

" It's cool. I have been aware of my sister's not-so-good personality. And sometimes I wonder how she isn't in the hospital since no one has hurt her for the way she speaks," Michael mumbled.

" Wait. Aurora is with you?" Helen asked, changing the subject when she hears Mia mentioning her twin sister.

" Yes. Mom. She is with me," Mia responds to Helen.

" Oh. Oh. Then I will pick you two up at the mall," Helen softly tells Mia, and she hangs up the phone call.

Mia held her cell phone in front of her, and she frowned. She could not believe that Helen would lie to her that Aurora was at the Social Services building when in reality, the young teen is at the mall.

Mia puts her cell phone away, and she walks up to Aurora and Benjamin.

" Aurora," Mia calls out to Aurora, causing the young teen and Benjamin to look at her.

" Yeah?" Aurora softly responded.

" Mom is going to pick us up. She should be here soon," Mia informed Aurora.

Aurora begins to panic when she hears that Helen is going to be picking her and Mia up.

Benjamin frowned when he sees Aurora's body shake at the mention of Helen.

" If you like, I can be with you and your sister when your Mom picks you two?" Benjamin softly asked Aurora.

Aurora shakes her head.

" I don't-I don't want that woman to think you are some creep," Aurora whispers to Benjamin.

Benjamin nods his head in understanding.

" Then let me get your stuff from my taxi," Benjamin softly smiled at Aurora.

Aurora nods her head, feeling and looking scared to be in the same room with Helen since the young teen is aware that her so-called mother doesn't even want to be around her.

" Hey," Mia hugs Aurora's arm, causing the young teen to look at her.

" I am going to be with you every step of the way," Mia softly reassured Aurora.

Aurora sadly smiled at Mia, feeling glad that the other young teen cares about her well-being despite the two randomly met at a mall.

" Okay," Aurora nods her head in response as the two walked with Benjamin out of the mall.

Outside, Mia helped Benjamin take the luggage out of the taxi. Both Mia and Aurora grabbed luggage as they begin to say their goodbyes to Benjamin.

" Here. This card is my business card. It also has my personal number. So, if you ever need someone to talk to or hang out with someone, don't be shy to call me," Benjamin softly smiled at Aurora as he held a business card to her.

" Thank you, Mr. Thomas, for everything. I assure you that someday we will see each other, and I hope I will get to meet your daughter so I can tell her how wonderful of a father she has," Aurora fondly smiled at Benjamin as she accepts the business card, and she safely puts it away in her backpack.

" You two stay safe, and um, Happy Birthday," Benjamin akwardly waved goodbye to Aurora and Mia as he gets inside the taxi.

Aurora and Mia stepped back as they watched the taxi leave the parking lot and then drive away.

Once Benjamin and his taxi were out of sight, Aurora began to panic, which worried Mia.

" Your mom was clear that she did not want me in her home," Aurora nervously tells Mia, looking and feeling scared.

" It's also my home, which means I don't mind you being there," Mia softly speaks to Aurora.

Aurora turns her gaze to Mia as their chocolate brown eyes intently stared at one another.

" I know Helen is our mother, but I hope you are okay that I do not see her as my mother," Aurora firmly tells Mia.

" It's understandable. I mean, I have heard of our-your Dad, but he and I never had a close relationship," Mia informs Aurora.

Aurora sadly nods her head.

" I know Dad never spoke about you to me, but I know in my heart that he genuinely loves you," Aurora softly smiled at Mia.

Mia blushes, feeling pleased to hear that Phillipe would have still loved her if they were allowed to contact one another.

" Let's go wait for Michael and Mom at the pick-up area," Mia lightly grabs Aurora's hand as the two teens walked towards a bench, and they sat down.

Aurora sat down on the bench as she silently stared at the sky, noticing the sky changing colors.

" I don't even know what time is it anymore. Alot of shit has been happening to me," Aurora mumbled to herself, but Mia heard her.

A ringing sound then grabs Aurora's attention, causing the young teen to pull her cell phone out of her backpack. She then wore an excited expression when she sees her paternal Uncle Oliver's name on the screen.

" It's my-I mean our Uncle, Oliver Sebastian Renaldi. He is our Dad's eldest brother," Aurora excitedly tells Mia.

Mia's chocolate brown eyes widened when she hears that she has an uncle through Phillipe since Helen is sadly an only child.

" Oh-Cool," Mia akwardly and excitedly tells Aurora. " Do you um want me to give you two privacy?" She softly asked her older twin sister.

" No. It's okay. Uncle Ollie needs to meet his niece," Aurora winks at Mia.

Mia's heart skipped a beat, feeling touched that Aurora wants her to meet their uncle. She then stays quiet when she sees Aurora pick up the phone.

" Zio Ollie!" Aurora excitedly greets Oliver in Italian. [Translation: Uncle Ollie!]

Mia's chocolate brown eyes blinked when she hears Aurora speak in a foreign language.

" Aurora! Sono arrivato a San Francisco. Sto solo aspettando che qualcuno mi venga a prendere all'aeroporto e mi porti in un hotel poiché ho bisogno di incontrare il sindaco della città per discutere di questioni legali. Stai bene? Hai già incontrato Helen?" Oliver worriedly speaks to Aurora in Italian. [Translation: Aurora! I arrived in San Francisco. I am just waiting for someone to pick me up at the airport and take me to a hotel as I need to meet with the mayor of the city to discuss some legal matters. Are you okay? Have you met Helen yet?]

" Sono contento che tu sia arrivato a San Francisco. Ho incontrato la mia cosiddetta madre e le interazioni non sono state buone. Quando posso vivere con te? Non voglio vivere con lei. Almeno la giornata sta diventando un po 'tollerabile da quando ho incontrato mia sorella gemella! Vorresti parlare con lei?" Aurora spoke to Oliver in Italian. [Translation: I'm glad you made it to San Francisco. I met my so-called mother and the interactions weren't good. When can I live with you? I don't want to live with her. At least the day is getting a bit tolerable since I met my twin sister! Would you like to talk to her?]

" So che non ti piace tua madre. Ma cerca di vivere con lei per il mio bene. Vedi, per ottenere la tua custodia dato che sei minorenne, ho bisogno di parlare con tua madre e prendere accordi con lei per parlare con un giudice che si occupa di questioni relative a bambini / famiglie. In questo modo tua madre potrà trasferire a me la sua tutela. E mi piacerebbe parlare con Mia!" Oliver calmly yet happily explained to Aurora in Italian. [Translation: I know you don't like your mother. But try to live with her for my sake. You see, to get your custody since you are a minor, I need to speak to your mother and make arrangements with her to talk with a judge who deals with child/family matters. That way, your mother can transfer her guardianship to me. And I'd love to talk to Mia!]

Aurora sadly frowned when she hears Oliver telling her that she needs to temporarily live with Helen so that he can get guardianship of her. She sadly nods her head, and she held her cellphone to Oliver.

" Uncle Ollie wants to speak to you. And it's okay, he can speak in English," Aurora reassured Mia when she sees her younger twin sister looking at her in concern since she didn't understand what she and Oliver were saying to one another.

Mia nervously stared at the cell phone as she nods her head, and she grabs the device as she begins to speak to Oliver.
