Everyone was just staring at us with no smile, it was just a blank expression, the expression they were giving us made
me feel like we are in a army.

"Okay do everyone understand our situation?" I asked everyone

Everyone faces turned more serious but not gonna lie it looks to me like their more mad. "YES! We are prepared for a life-or-death battle" Everyone said

"Don't get so nervous or worked up, think only about doing the best you can." Rimuru said

The crowd cheered with glee which I personally thought was cute.

[Time: Nighttime]

The goblings were in shields that protected them while me and Rimuru was outside of them and after 1 hour the dire wolves finally came.

"Turn back now, and we won't take any action!" Rimuru said "Leave this place immediately!" I said

"INSOLENCE! A mere human and slime! Can not order us dire wolves!!" The dire wolf who I think is the leader said

I looked at them in boredom, their so... Cocky, Their so cocky it disgusts me, so loud... Annoying... And stupid I wanna eat then sleep after this battle.

"Trample down the fence!" The leader said

The dire wolves came at us but they all died when they got close enough from Rimuru's special skill; Steel thread, and from the goblins shooting the arrows.

"This is your doing! A puny monster like you... HAVE NO MATCH FOR ME!" The dire wolf leader said

While I was killing some of the wolves, the dire wolf leader charged at Rimuru without me looking, but he was okay he used sticky thread and used water blade to decapitate the leaders head.

"Hear me out wolves! Your leader is dead! I'll give you the choice; Submit or die!" Rimuru said

It was dead silent, And I can tell Rimuru was thinking of something probably if their gonna submit or not.

"Hear me! I will let you go this once! Of you refuse to yeild to me! I will allow you to leave this place!" Rimuru said

Rimuru roared like a fuc*ing lion and I had to cover my ears because it was annoying especially since I have enhanced hearing....

When Rimuru stopped yelling I ran beside him "Our pack yields to you!" The wolves said and they were bowing.

"U-Um... Did we win?" The goblin asked

"Yes! You guys did win, I think... It good that there's no need for fighting anymore... Yep, yep nothing beats peace" Rimuru said

I was happy we won and there would be no more fighting but then I looked at the dire wolves

"... I'm happy we won but... What are we gonna do with the dire wolves?" I whispered to Rimuru in concern

"Uhh, They can... Live with us!" He whispered back

"What?!" I loudly whispered in complete shock

We were gonna take in these Dire wolves? Do we really have enough space for something like that? I mean they are cute so... I guess it doesn't matter...

[Time: Morning]

What now... Everyone was infront of us waiting for our announcement I think... Their all... Just sitting there with no expression are they nervous? I mean I would be to if my enemy who is stronger then me just sitting right beside me.

"Okay everyone listen up! So, we're gonna have to pair you guys up and you will have to live together!" Rimuru said

We're gonna have to get used to this... Especially if we're gonna be running this village...

"Do you understand?" I asked I was shock on why they looked so confused

"Pair.... Up?" Everyone said simultaneously

"Great Rimuru, what does "pair" mean exactly?" The elder asked

"ARE YOU SERIOUS?! you know what no their goblins and... goblets? No a goblet is a wine glass..." I thought

"Okay, It means a group of 2, you all gonna work together and become friends or at least acquaintance! Got it?" Rimuru said

"Yes sir!" everyone said

"Help each other out, and make it work!" I said

Everything looks okay so far, nothing looks bad or out of the ordinary... Yeah, this should settle things.

"So... Um... What's gonna be important now is food, shelter, and clothing! We should form teams to hunt for food, and build houses!" Rimuru said

"And we'd need to strengthen the village defence, Because using gates are not gonna help everytime" I said

"And we'll start with...– uhh" Rimuru was looking at the guy with the red cap

"Y/n... What was his name again....?" Rimuru whispered to me

I didn't know what to say because I didn't know the guy name either... "Pardon me asking but what are you guys names?" I asked

"We monsters don't have names, Even without names we can still communicate out thoughts to one another." The elder goblin said

"Huh, interesting..." I thought

"Really then? It's more convenient to have actual names, so we'll name you guys! Is that okay?" Rimuru asked

"Naming us? Are you sure about that??" The elder asked

"Uh, yeah... Whats the worse that could happen?" I said

I didn't know what would happen if we named them, surely nothing bad... Right?? I do not get why they were all excited for a name but whatever....

They all gasped in shock like they were processing what he said then they started to cheer.
