"Come on dad! Get up!" A young her girl squealed as she bounced on the bed next to her father. Nick groaned softly as he sat up quietly.

"Ellie, darling. Do you know what it means to 'sleep in'?" Nick grumbled as he looked at his little girl.

"Daddy sent me to wake you up! Come on, daddy has breakfast ready." Ellie squealed as she tugged on his hand softly.

"Alright. Alright. I'm getting up, just give me a moment sweetie." Nick laughed softly as he pulled his hand away quietly. "Run along now. I'll be right out." He ruffled her hair softly as she rushed out to find Ellis in the kitchen. Nick chuckled softly as he got up and slipped on a pair of sweat pants before he walked out of the room quietly. Soft laughter filled the house as he hear his husband laughing with the little girl.

"Go sit down sweetie." Nick could hear the thick Southern accent of his husband as he entered the kitchen.

"I heard you were making breakfast, overalls." Nick hummed as he entered the kitchen, causing Ellis to jump.

"Oh hey Nick. Yeah... I uh... I made pancakes and stuff." Ellis was blushing softly as he lowered his head. He still wore his old blue and white hat but Ellie now wore his old, tattered Bull Shifters shirt.

"I sure smells good. Can't wait to dig in." Nick grinned at Ellis as he sat down at the dinning room table. The men had adopted Ellie as they're own shortly after her mother had died. Not wanted to watch the little girl die, Ellis took her in under his wing. Her name was Eleanor but Ellis liked calling her Ellie as it made her seem more carefree and playful.

"Go sit down, Sweetie." Ellis told the young girl once again as he finished up the pancakes. She giggled softly as she took hear seat next to Nick as Ellis set a plate of pancakes in the middle of the table before he sat down opposite of Nick. He smiled at Nick before he began to eat.

"I can't believe it's been two years already." Ellis spoke softly through a mouth full. Nick chuckled softly.

"Yeah... I never thought we'd survive that hell on Earth." Nick sighed as he looked at Ellis across the table. "I love you, Overalls."

"I love you too, Suit." Ellis smiled at the older man softly.

"Ellie, eat up kiddo. We got a big day today." Nick smiled sadly as he looked at Ellis. No words had to be spoken as Ellis already knew what they were gonna do. They were gonna go visit Coach and Rochelle, who didn't make it out with them.  They had spent months with them which made the loss even harder on the two, though Nick wouldn't admit it.

"What're we doing today?" Ellie asked through a mouthful.

"We're gonna go visit some people. Some very important people." Ellis said softly.

"Now eat up kiddo. Daddy and I are gonna go change clothes and get ready." Nick looked at Ellis quietly as they both got up, puts their plates in the sink and went back to their room to change into something a tad bit more formal.
