Your POV:

I woke up to Obanai cooking. I smiled and headed downstairs.

"Good morning!"

He turned back and smiled

"Good morning."

"So what's on the menu this morning?"

"Waffles with some fruit. I'm also making green tea."

"That sounds delicious!"

"I'm almost done so you can go wait at the table."

I did and waited for him. He came out with the food and...it smelled delicious I was so ready to just shove it into my mouth.

We quickly said 'thank you for the meal'

Before we ate I had to take a picture of it. It was in the perfect light and it looked amazing

'Totally posting this later'

I though then I put my phone away and began to eat.

"I said it once and I'll say it again. Your cooking is seriously the best Obanai!"

"It's not that big a deal..."

Third person POV:

Obanai was a blushing mess, y/n compliments are the best to him!

After breakfast they both cleaned up.

"So what should we do now?"

"Wanna watch a movie or something?"

"Yeah! A movie sounds great!"

They both got comfortable on the couch

Halfway through the movie Obanai pretended to fall asleep on y/n's lap.

Y/n then unconsciously started playing with his hair

A chill went through his body he was loving it.

The rest of the day was like that, just a peaceful, quiet, normal weekend. no drama, no noise, no life threatening situation. Just peace and quiet.

Until 7 o'clock arrived

Then y/n got a call

Y/n answered

"Hello?"

'Hey y/n!'

You groaned inside your head

"Hey douma."

'I hope your ready for the meteor shower tonight! I just need to get ready then Ill come to your place to pick you up! See you then love~'

"Don't call me tha-"

Then you heard the hang up tune

You grumbled but got up and started getting ready it was no doubt going to be chilly so you grabbed your fluffy sweater and a button up shirt just in case it got hot. Then a pair of pants with a pair of boots

You looked at the clothes you were in and thought

'Is this good?'

You then went to Obanai

"Hey Obanai do you think this outfit is okay?"

Obanai looked at you

"Yeah you look great!"

"Thanks Obanai."

You then heard a knock on the door.

You opened it and saw douma with a big smile on his face.

"Your ready to go?"

"Yeah, let me just grab my phone."

You quickly grab your phone and walked out with douma. Telling Obanai that you'd be back later in the night

You both drove near a hill area where you could easily see the sky.

You started going up the hill but douma was walking much faster than you that you almost couldn't keep up.

You meant to grab part of his coat to slow him down but accidentally grabbed his hair and pulled it.

"Ah~!"

You both turned so red that it would put a tomato to shame.

"W-why'd you do that?"

"I didn't mean to grab your hair...you were walking to fast and I couldn't keep up...I meant to grab your coat..."

"I'll try to walk a little bit slower then."

Things got pretty awkward between you too.

Once you reached you both setup the things he brought. You both sat in silence for a bit. You couldn't stand the awkward silence so you decided to ask him something.

"So what time should the meteor shower start?"

"Oh it should be about any minute now! But while we wait I have some drink and snacks that I bought."

You hated to admit it but douma was being really sweet and almost a bit cute.

"Make sure when it start that you make a wish! You never know it might come true!"

Douma said winking at you

You rolled your eyes.

Douma and you chatted while waiting for it to start. You were the one to notice it starting

It was really beautiful

Just for the fun of it you actually made a wish.

I closed my eyes and put my hands together.

...

After I was done I just sat down casually while having a bit of my drink and snack.

"So what's your wish y/n?"

You smirked

"I can't tell you or else it won't come true."

He pouted

"I guess that's true. But I guess I can probably guess it!"

"Give it your best shot."

"You probably wished I was your boyfriend right? Right?"

"Your way off buddy."

"Did you wish for a kiss?"

"No."

"A date?"

"Nuh-uh."

He spent the next 30 minutes trying to guess while I wished for.

He then laid his head on your lap looking up at you.

"Whatever you wished for it must be really out! Cause I've thought of everything!"

He said acting like a drama queen.

"But I can probably guess your wish."

You said and smiled

"You sound so sure!"

"Because I know you too well."

"Okay y/n if your so sure, what did I wish for?"

"You probably wished something along of lines being together with me as in dating."

You were right on the nose with that guess, that's exactly what he wished for. He wanted nothing more than to be with you forever.

"I just hope for my sake that wish doesn't come true."

"Hey! That's mean y/n! Why are you always so mean to me!"

You giggled

"Don't take it the wrong way douma it's all just playful teasing. Even though your a overdramatic, flirtatious, pain in my neck. I actually quite enjoy your company and consider you a very close friend to me."

Douma had the most puppy dog lovesick expression on his face.

Then he got the best idea. Tonight you'll be coming to his place and won't ever be leaving.

Soon the meteor shower ended you both went back to the car, then you thought he was driving you home until you noticed that none of the streets looked familiar

"Uh douma this isn't the way to my place?"

"I'm taking a short cut don't worry!"

You took that as him saying 'I'm taking the long path so I can be with you even longer.'

Just then the car started slowing down and it just stopped.

"Huh?"

Douma said

He then turned the key to turn on the engine but it wasn't turning on.

The car had just broken down.

'My plan is now completely ruined!'

Douma thought

You both got out to see what was wrong but neither of you knew nothing about cars. He always was worried about what would happen because the car was a rental.

Just then a motorcycle stopped by and it was akaza

"Akaza!"

You both shouted

"Shut up douma." "Hey y/n."

Akaza said

"What happened?"

"The car broke down, but we don't know much about cars."

"Just call a tow truck and get a mechanic to fix it."

"Looks like I need a new ride home."

You rubbed the back of your head

"I can take you home."

Akaza offered

"Really?!"

You asked excitedly

"Yeah I don't mind."

"It's okay akaza me and y/n could just grab a taxi."

"You can grab a taxi after calling a tow truck. But y/n looks really tired I should take her home."

While the two argued you called a tow truck to take the rental car to a mechanic.

Eventually akaza won the argument.

Well he walked you over to his bike. Picked you up gently and placed you on his bike while giving you his helmet.

"No fair akaza! You can't just take y/n!"

Akaza jumped onto his bike and turned it on which scared you. You latched onto his waist afraid he was about to go. He was about to when he noticed you weren't wearing the helmet. He reach behind him put the helmet on your head and put the clip together.

Just then the tow truck came

You and douma explain everything to the tow truck driver. After the tow truck driver hooked up the rental car. Douma called himself a taxi cause he knew that he lost the argument with akaza.

You insisted that you two wait until douma got into the taxi. Reluctantly akaza agreed.

Once douma got into his taxi and drove off. Akaza drove you home.

You two had a nice chat on the way. But at one point you were embarrassed and blushing heavily when you paid attention to the feeling of his abs against your arms. They were as hard as a rock! The more you imagined them the more you blushed.

Eventually you both reached your home

"Thanks for the ride akaza."

"It's no problem. Hey are you free tomorrow?"

"Yeah."

"You wanna hangout with me tomorrow?"

"Yeah I'd love too!"

"Great! Let's meet at the arcade near that pizza shop yeah?"

"Sounds good to me!"

"Alright see you y/n!"

He then drove off

You went into your house to be greet by Obanai.

"Hey welcome I made (f/d/m) favorite dinner meal)."

"Really that's my favorite dinner dish!"

"Really? I didn't know! I should make it more often then."

That was lie he did know that was your dinner meal. He learned when he heard you talking to tanjiro on the phone, you mentioned how it's your favorite thing to have for dinner.

You sat down together. You put your hands together while saying 'thank you for the meal'

You tried it and squealed

"Wow! This is amazing Obanai, you made it perfectly!"

"I'm glad your enjoying it!"

Soon you both finished. Then cleaned the dishes together, then went into your room to sleep.
