"Okay...try the rattata over there!",Red said pointing at the purple rat pokémon. Yellow followed his finger to where he was pointing.

"Okay...",Yellow said as ChuChu sat on her arms. ChuChu then jumped forward and stood in front of the rattata who now looked at them in alert.

"First weaken it, then throw a pokéball",Red said watching her. Yellow just nodded and turned to ChuChu.

"ChuChu, thundershock!",Yellow said as ChuChu's cheek's sparked with electricity. In seconds the area was surrounded by electricity and the energy was sent towards the rattata.

The rattata fell back and weakly got up. It got ready to attack when suddenly he was surrounded by electricity and it stopped moving.

Yellow smiled and enlarged a pokéball in her pouch. She then threw the pokéball hitting the rattata causing it to go inside

Red, Yellow and ChuChu stared at the pokéball in anticipation.

The pokéball stayed still. "...did I do it?",Yellow asked. She was looking away and Red laughed.
"Yeah you did!",He says smiling.

Yellow turned and saw the pokéball materializing in her hand. From the corner of her eye she could see rattata's data being added as well as it being added to her party.

Yellow smiled and laughed a bit as ChuChu jumped into her arms in a celebratory way. Both were laughing happily until Red pulled Yellow towards him.

Yellow blinked still smiling. "Red?",she asked confused. It was weird, well Red was always weird but still! It was weird because Red was looking at her face in amazement.

"Yellow you...",He says trailing off. "I what?",Yellow asked raising an eyebrow. Instead of answering Red picked her up and spun her around while laughing.

Yellow squeaked in surprise but a smile still formed on her face. "Red what is it?",she asked confused as Red set her back down. "You smiled!! I've always wanted to see your smile!"

"Y..you did?",She asked blushing a bit. Red nodded while smiling.
Yellow looked down shyly as Red set her back down. Red gently grabbed her hand which sent Yellow into a internal frenzy and ran off once again dragging the smaller girl.

"Red!!",A girl with orange hair greeted hugging the boy. Yellow looked away a bit, and felt a small tug on her hand which was being held by Red. Yellow was mildly confused but shrugged it off as Red hugged misty back with his free hand.

What was happening you may ask? After a bit of training from the two of them, much to Yellow's dismay since she didn't think gym badges were necessary,Red had won Brock's gym with ease thanks to bulbasaur and a newly caught pokémon called poliwhirl.

The two then headed to Misty's gym, and as far as Yellow could tell the two knew each other quite well. Yellow couldn't quite describe the way she was currently feeling. She felt awkward and a bit annoyed at Misty hugging Red...the hug itself wasn't the problem! The way she hugged him was. It made it seen like the two were dating.

If that were the case, Red needed to let go of her hand, now. Misty then finally noticed the smaller girl and forced a smile. "And...who's this?",She asked letting go of Red and looking at him while placing her hands on her hips.

"Oh! This is Yellow! She's my-",Red began but cut himself off with a small blush. "She's my friend."

Misty cautiously nodded. Her eyes watching their hands, Yellow swore she saw something in Misty's eyes. Sadness?

"Well, I believe you came here for a gym battle!",Misty said looking at Red with an all to forced smile. Red however seemed to be the king of dense people since he didn't notice it. Yellow could however, she use to wear her fair share of fake smiles.

"Right! Thanks Misty!",Red said as Pika ran forward looking to do battle. Yellow sat on the sidelines and watched while petting ChuChu who had become attached to Pika after a while.

Yellow watched as Red and Misty exchanged compliments on their battling skills and stayed silent when Misty gave Red his badge. Everything Misty did seemed to look like she was hesitating.

"Misty",Yellow said as Red and Misty approached her. Misty looked at Yellow with a smile. "Yes?",she asked. "Can I talk to you for a sec?",she asked while ChuChu looked up at Yellow in wonder.

Red raised an eyebrow and looked at Yellow. "Are you okay?",he asked clearly worried. Yellow nodded, her eyes not leaving Misty as once again she saw sadness in her eyes for a few seconds. "I'm just curious about something...",She said as Misty led the two to a more private area.

"How can i help you?",Misty asked with genuine curiosity.
"You like Red don't you?",Yellow questioned as ChuChu perked up in surprise.

Misty blinked a couple of times. After a few seconds her cheeks turned a light shade of pink.
"I...yes. I do...",Misty confessed and at that Yellow felt a nasty feeling in her that she did not like.

"I..see",Yellow said nodding a bit.
"Are you two dating?",Misty asked crossing her arms with a playful smile.

Yellow's face turned pink in a matter of seconds. "I-I...w-what?- no-",Yellow rambled on causing Misty to laugh. "It's okay I can keep secrets",she said winking.

Yellow slowly nodded and looked down a bit. ChuChu was very much interested in what was currently happening, so she nuzzled her cheeks on Yellow's hand. Misty smiled.

"Soo...can I ask two things of you?",Misty asked and Yellow nodded. "Why do you like Red?",she asked intrigued.

Yellow felt her cheeks grow warmer. "W-what?! Why do you want to know that? Don't you like Red too?",she questioned trying to move away from the subject.

"Of course. I love Red more than anything",Misty stated as if it was a fact. It almost made Yellow flinch. How did she gave such confidence in her feelings?

"You still have to answer my question~",Misty hummed waiting patiently. Yellow sighed.
"I...he helped me. I..wasn't in a very stable home. Red helped me escape that. Red,Blue and Green made me feel loved again. But most importantly Red made me feel safe and protected. I don't like him because i see him as a 'knight in shining armor' I like him because we were both in a dark place and we were both saved by receiving love and friendship. Red doesn't know this but...he's the only person who so far has made me feel things again",Yellow said her eyes drifting to her pikachu.

Misty nodded. That sounded like Red alright. Helping others even when no one asked him to, even if it wasn't his business. He was always such a caring friend.

"I see...tell me this Yellow. When I hugged Red what did you want to do? What did you feel?",Misty asked curiously.

"All honesty?"

"Mhm"

"I wanted to pull him away from you.."

Misty laughed. "I think i know why...guess Red made you figure out another emotion...with my help of course"

Yellow raised an eyebrow. "Really? Which one?"

"Jealousy"
