About a week later, Kylo and Faith return home to see Rose, Kyle and Riaca and find them already up with Jessica and Amarant waiting for them and Faith says as she picks them up "Hey babies! Momma and Daddy are home!" And the three little babies immediately coo to the sound of her voice and Kylo says "We missed you little ones." After he says this Rose, Kyle and Riaca begin cooing at him as well before Faith hands Kylo the babies as she heads in to check on the Varactyl eggs only to find out that they have just begun to hatch and she says in a soft voice "Come on little ones, you can do it!" As she attempts to encourage them to hatch as she knows better then to help them and let the two lizards hatch on their own and before long, one of the Varactyl manages to break more of the shell and Faith can now see it's tiny head (these things are actually pretty small even though they will be huge when fully grown) and before long, the second one manages to do the same and Faith says "Come on! You two are doing great!" Moments later, Kylo walks in and notices that Faith is watching the two hatching Varactyl and he says "Sweetheart, what's going on?" So she replies in a soft voice "Ky hush, the Varactyl are hatching." Then he notices this and sits beside her as he says "These things are going to be a bit of a problem aren't they?" But Faith replies "No Kylo Ky, it's just going to be like raising the babies and one day if I train them right they will be a huge help to the First Order in battle." However, Kylo doesn't like the sound of this and he says "Wait, wait, wait, you are going to train them!?" And she nods as she says "Yes Ky, ever since I was little I always had a strong bond with pretty much any animals I found, these little things won't be any different!" Then Faith turns back to the Varactyl hatchlings and finds that they are both fully hatched and are looking at her and she says "Come here." Then the two little Varactyls run to her arms and she says to Kylo "See, animals love me Kylo, just about as much as you." He then chuckles as he says "Yes, I can see that but what if I told you there were certain creatures that respond to the force, there are some that end up being attached to force sensitivity but it's a rare gift to actually have the ability to control and communicate with creatures like this." Then she looks to him as she says "Really?" And he nods as he answers her "Yes my love, and sometimes if a force sensitive has this kind of power they can even use it in order to turn themselves into animals (this can't actually happen but for Faith's story she is so connected with animals that she has abilities like this but that is something that will be covered in more detail later) , but usually that ends up being something that can only happen through a lot of anger and focus, remember how you told me you always lock onto certain targets during battle and track them down until you finally end them?" To which she nods but still looks at him a bit confused as he says "That is just like how a predator stalks it's prey, the force has somehow opened a door for you to be able to use animalistic senses as well as just the use of the force itself." Then Faith says "Wow, if this is true that would explain a lot of things as to why every time my senses force me after a target that almost always makes me stray away from you without thinking." Which makes Kylo nod to her in agreement as he says as he looks to the two Varactyls that are now looking at him curiously "You better pick names for our pets here." And Faith says giggling already knowing what she wants to name them "Well, I can already tell that the light blue colored one is a female and the dark blue one is a male (I just made this up sort of so that there was a way to tell the difference between the two genders) so I think the female should be Velvet and the male should be Kylan." And Kylo replies smiling still, "I think they are wonderful names."
   About a month later, Kylo and Faith are on another mission and fighting Resistance fighters again when suddenly a girl that is obviously a Jedi but also one Faith hasn't met yet ignites her lightsaber and Faith notices that the second Kylo sees her he tenses up and Faith says "Ky, who is that?" But all Kylo says back in a dangerous but warning tone of voice is "She is a danger to you, she will try to turn you just like your half-brother and my sister have tried, stay out of this one Sweetheart." To which Faith obeys and backs off while Kylo deals with this mysterious girl until she hears someone yell "Rey be careful!" Which causes Faith to immediately recognize her as she says to herself "She's the one who gave Kylo the scars on his face and chest, he's afraid she'll hurt me!" As she hears Rey say in a testy voice to Kylo "So I hear that you corrupted Poe Dameron's half-sisters (talking about both Faith and Sophie) and even have one of them as your girlfriend." Then Rey actually notices Faith watching from safely behind Kylo as she says mockingly "She seems like quite the keeper from the looks of things too." This then angers not only Kylo who is now charging at Rey with so much hatred in his eyes but also Faith as well but Faith already knows that even if she wanted to, she wouldn't be able to jump into the fight, by the sound of Kylo's tone of voice from earlier she knows he'd never allow her to get involved. So she sits and watches as she hears Kylo say angrily "You have no right to talk to me about my personal life!" But Rey says in reply "Your scared Kylo, scared you'll lose her." Which soon gives Rey the upper hand as she manages to cut pretty deep into Kylo's side which angers Faith even more until suddenly she feels a weird, yet sharp pain all over her body and she collapses only to find her hands and feet turning into small black paws and she says to herself "What the hell?" Very confused as to what is going on and then she feels crystal-like fur start to cover her body and before long she notices that her arms are now covered with black, crystal-like fur and not long after, she is pretty much all but transformed into a black vulptex (they are not on Crait but somehow the force manages to transform her into one out of her anger) but before long she is completely transformed but still quite confused so she inspects herself for about five minutes but she knows Kylo needs her so she runs over and before Rey can land another blow on Kylo, Faith manages to jump and bite her arm holding the lightsaber, causing Rey to drop it as she screams in a bit of pain as Faith lands in front of Kylo, growling at her while standing in a protective posture. Moments later, Kylo notices her but at first is quite confused until he looks back to where she originally was behind him and realizes that it is actually her in front of him as she isn't where he left her and he says "Faith what are you doing, I told you not to get involved!" And she replies (she can still talk) "Saving your life Ky!" But then Rey realizes it too so she deliberately kicks Faith straight in the stomach, knocking the wind out of her as she is knocked back a little causing her to let out a whimper of pain while Kylo glares at Rey and says "You will pay for doing that to her!" But another voice says "Oh no dear brother, she will get what she finally deserves." To reveal Lily in her own wolf form and Faith says weakly as she gets back up, determined to defend him "Ky, get back to the Shuttle, I'll deal with her!" However, Kylo refuses to leave her to face Lily alone and says "I'm not leaving you!" Which makes Faith reply "Kylo please, get out of here, your hurt already, I'll be fine!" And Kylo reluctantly leaves her but refuses to board his shuttle incase Faith needs his help since she already helped him by giving him time. Also during this Rey says to Lily "Lily, stand down! Go at her and you will be giving into the dark side!" But Lily doesn't listen and charges at Faith causing Faith to charge back at her and at first Faith has the upper hand as she is faster and small enough that she can maneuver quicker but that soon changes when Lily is able to grab her by the shoulder and throw her as she attempts to run past her for a speed attack and Faith again whimpers with pain but this time, she is having a bit of a harder time getting up and Kylo hears Lily say to Faith from where he's currently at as she gives her a look to kill "I've been waiting for this since the last time we fought, now you will pay for choosing the wrong side." Then she bites deep into Faith's side causing her to let out a whine of pain but before Lily can land a final blow, Kylo rams himself into her and says in a protective growl "Get away from her!" And then he knocks Lily out with his force sleep ability and says as a few stormtroopers come over "Take her to my shuttle, I have a personal reason to take her as a hostage." Then one of  the stormtroopers reply "Yes Sir." And as Lily is taken away, Kylo leans down to Faith and says as he sees her laying in a pool of her own blood, reminding him of when he did so for quite a while on Starkiller base before Hux rescued him "Faith why did you risk doing something like this? Look at you!" And she answers in a weakened voice again "Because I love you... Kylo...That's how we are going to...win this thing...by risking our lives to protect the other and those we care about." Then she kisses him before she passes out from both shock and a bit of blood loss so Kylo immediately carries her to his shuttle so he can get her to Sophie as quick as possible and have his own wound treated as well.
