Headcannon

Kylee went to school when she first came to earth. She slept in the library at Peter's school, reading absolutely every book there. Peter found her one morning.

"Uhm.. miss? Are you asleep?" Peter said to a girl, motionless face down on a table. The girl sat up, a pencil sticking out of her hair.

"Hmm yes I'm wake," the girl mumbled.

"What are you doing here?" Peter walked over to the table, setting his bag down on the ground and pulling out a chair to sit.

"I'm doing research. Did you know that humans are capable to go over three days without eating? Amazing!" The girl pulled the pencil out of her bright pink hair and set it down next to a notebook full of notes written in a different language.

"Yeah, you didn't? My name's Peter, what's yours?" Peter lifted up a page of the notebook and flipped through the notes. "What language even is this?"

The girl combed through her hair with her hands and grinned. "My name's Kylee! And that there is an ancient language from back where I came from."

Peter dropped the notebook and looked at her. "Nice to meet you Kylee, where do you come from? I haven't seen you around."

Kylee leaned in and whispered, "You can't tell anyone, I'm from space!"

"Space?! Woah! That's so cool!"

"I know right?"

"Why'd you leave? Earth is cool but space is probably cooler!"

Kylee looked down sadly and fiddled with the pencil. "Well.. that's not really important. Anyway, I have to get back to reading. I've read every book here, twice! I'm going back to see if there's something I missed."

"Wait, twice? Do you sleep here?"

Kylee nodded and flipped through a book. "Yep, I have no where else to sleep. Only got to earth a couple weeks ago."

"You should come stay with me! You can't stay in a library forever!" Peter said excitedly. "We can go to school together, and you could learn even more about earth!"

Kylee grinned, "Really! That sounds amazing!" She leaned over and gave him a hug. "For a human, you're pretty cool!"

Peter smiled smugly, "I know I am."
