Dedication:
Although I love all my readers, I have a special dedication this weekend.
I would like to thank Meghu_die_Beste who has been with me since my first book, thank you for all the support you've given my stories.
Guys if you haven't already, do check out her stories: Billa-Ranga, Durga, Anjaan Sherni and Yadaan Teriyaan. I assure you they're all just as awesome as Meghana herself!

Third person P.O.V:
Rohan woke up with a headache. He rubbed his forehead to ease the pressure a little but in vain, the pain was still there. He thought back to last night.

"I would say let's go get some but I doubt there'll be a shop selling ice cream at two in the morning. Are you doing anything tomorrow?" I could hear Abhi ask someone.
"I was thinking we could go to Treatz, I've heard they do great ice cream there and I've not been yet so maybe we can go together?"
Alright! So he's planning a date, that too without me?
"It can be if you want it to be," Abhi said in a flirtatious tone.
I wonder who he's talking to? Ayesha?
No, it can't be. I find myself arguing with... myself.
This girl's going to drive you crazy, go to sleep Rohan, I mentally scold myself.
"It's cool, I understand," Abhi said, trying to keep the disappointment out of his voice but I could hear it, sounds like she said no.
"I think I'm going to sleep now, you must be tired too?"
Good idea Abhi, I should give my mind a rest too. I pulled the duvet covers over my head and went to sleep.

I threw the covers off and rolled out of bed. Abhi wasn't in the room, he must be in the washroom I thought. I walked over to the door and knocked, there was no response. I opened the door, he wasn't in there, must be downstairs I thought and got into the shower.

Third person P.O.V:
Rohan went downstairs for a late brunch after he had changed into a grey gym vest and some tracksuit bottoms.
He ruffled his hair as he walked down the steps, he walked straight into the kitchen as he did every morning.
As he made his way into the kitchen he took a brief glance at the kitchen worktop. By the looks of things his mum was preparing for a large family feast; the worktop was covered with fresh vegetables, frozen samosas, rice, tins of chickpeas, dough to make chapattis and keema (mincemeat) to make kebabs as well as some ready made kebabs to test the ingredients.
He scrunched his eyebrows together as he thought, "I wonder who's coming?"
He quickly shrug it off and began tiptoeing behind his mum, when he was near her ear he shouted, "Boo!"
Mrs Nanda jumped at the sudden sound, her heart beating at twice the speed. Rohan rested his chin on her shoulder and pecked her lightly on the cheek.
"Good morning," he smiled sheepishly.
She pulled his ear lightly, "Rohan," she admonished him in a tired tone.
"Maine kya kiya?" (What did I do?) He asked, giving her his best puppy eyes. She smiled at her son's antics and shook her head lightly as she turned away.
Rohan begun to reach for kebab nearest to him but Mrs Nanda slapped his hand away, "Abhi nahi, baad mein," (Not yet, later) she told him.
He rubbed his hand although he wasn't actually hurt, Mrs Nanda took his hand in hers and kissed it better, Rohan smiled at her. Then he tried again, "Just one," he said holding his finger up.
Mrs Nanda gave into her son's sweet smile, she picked up the kebab and fed him.
"Mmhmm," he murmured in appreciation.
She chuckled lightly and ruffled Rohan's hair.
"Maa," (Mum) Rohan whined as he fixed his hair.
"Maine kya kiya?" (What did I do?) She asked, the skin around her eyes crinkled as she smiled.
He gave her a goofy smile and wrapped his arms around her neck while placing a little kiss on her forehead.
He pulled away after a few seconds.
"Maa," (Mum) he said quickly.
"Kya hua Rohan?" (What happened Rohan?)
"Ek aur," (One more) he said holding up a finger.
"Rohan, Rohit ko maine mana kar diya tha, ab woh kahega mujhe nahi diya usse de diya, isliye nahi." (Rohan, I said no to Rohit now he will say I'm being partial so no.)
After a few seconds she added, "Wash your hands, I'll bring your breakfast outside."
Rohan continued to sulk but did as he was told to. He washed his hands and joined his older brother, Rohit and Abhimanyu on the dining table.

After they finished eating Abhi decided to ask Rohan about yesterday, he plonked onto the sofa beside him.
He flicked through the TV channels as he spoke, "You know Ayesha was at Sports direct yesterday?"
"Haan, toh?" (Yeah, so?) Rohan asked.
"Did you see her?" Abhi asked, getting straight to the point, he kept his gaze on the TV screen.
Rohan fidgeted as he thought of whether to tell Abhi or not.
"Yes," he said quietly.
Abhi looked at him now, prompting him to continue.
"Nothing happened if that's what you're asking, we were in the same lift and it stopped working." Memories flashed through Rohan's mind as he thought about when the lift had stopped.
"She ate all my cookies," he said suddenly.
Abhi rolled his eyes, "Listen, unless you're serious, don't do anything stupid ok?"
"What are you trying to say?" Rohan asked.
"Look, she's a nice girl and we all know about your commitment issues, so..." Abhi trailed off, he didn't want to divulge into the topic.
"Tu kya uska bhai hai?" (Are you her brother?) Rohan asked, feeling a little irritated.
"Bhai hoga tu, mera kuch aur irrada hai," (You can be her brother, I have other plans) he mumbled the last part but Rohan heard him.
"I'm not anyone's brother," Rohan said, putting his hands up.
"Toh matlab tujhe woh pasand hai?" (So you like her?)
Rohan's cheeks started to flush a little, a small smile creeping it's way onto his lips but he hid it quickly, "Nahi, aisa kuch nahi hai jaisa tu soch raha hai." (No, there's nothing like what you're thinking.)
Ayesha's P.O.V:
I got out of the bath and dried myself, I had been in there for the past half an hour. I slipped into my red gown and left the bathroom after wrapping my hair into a towel, nevertheless it continued to drip on the carpet as I walked back towards my cupboard.
My cupboard was overflowing yet I could find nothing to wear. Suddenly my eyes fell on the basket in the corner of my room, I started walking towards it.
I found a pair of pyjamas lying on top of the pile, I put them onto my shoulder and continued to dig to the bottom of the basket to find myself a jumper.
At last I found an oversized white t shirt. I quickly changed into the clothes and headed downstairs.
"Hello," I chirped at my mum.
"Utt gaye?" (Have you woken up?) My mum asked in a sarcastic tone.
"I was having a bath," I explained.
"Acha, kapde badal lo." (Okay, change your clothes.)
"Papa hume ghumane le kar ja rahe hain?" (Is dad taking us out?) I felt my face lit up as I said the words.
"Nahin, hum kisi ke ghar jaa rahe hain." (No, we're going to someone's house.)
"Mujhe nahin jaana," (I don't want to go) I stated.
"Sabke bacche apne mummy papa ke saath jaate hain, bas mere hi nahin sunte," (Everyone's children go with them but all mine do is refuse) she said, trying the emotional blackmail.
I rolled my eyes.
"But mum-" I tried to reason however I was cut off. "Thek hai, ab main samajh gayi hoon meri baaton ki kya ahmiyat hai," (Ok, I've understood what importance my words hold) she sulked.
"Fine," I sighed in defeat.
***
It was nearing six o'clock now, I went upstairs and changed into the first pair of clothes I could find in my cupboard.
After I was ready I started undoing the plaits my mum had done for me earlier while my hair was still wet, I was surprised to see the wavy effect had worked out quite well.
I pulled my fringe back and scrunched it up a bit to add some volume before clipping it down using bobby pins. Then I rummaged through my boxes of jewellery to find some earrings to go with my outfit; I found a silver pair and I had some silver bangles so I slid them onto my wrists to complete the look.
I stood in front of the mirror for a good five minutes, just staring at myself.
"Don't you think you're a little overdressed?" I said to myself.
I nodded but quickly shrugged, "Oh well."
I scanned the dressing table for some perfume, it took me a while but I managed to find my usual amongst the scattered items.
I smiled, the smell of 'Rear Pearls' is just amazing! Even with a few sprays the fragrance lingers for hours to come.
"Ayesha!" My mum called, breaking me out of trance.
I jumped at the sudden sound, the bottle slipping out of my hand and falling onto the fluffy blue rug, thankfully it didn't break. I quickly put it back onto the dressing table and grabbed my scarf before running downstairs.
