Avni was suddenly pulled to the side by a strong man and she became shocked on who she saw

Neil was holding her protectively as he protected from a gunman.

"Neil! What are you doing?" She asked as she struggled to get out of his grasp.

Neil just silenced her with his glare as he hid her from the gunman prescience. She however felt familiar to his presence. All she wanted that time was to hold him close and breath in his scent. The familiar scent

He quickly shot a sedative to the gun man, making him unconscious

"Shinde, go take him to the Police station right now!"

He turned back to see Avni glaring at him with her hands on her hips.

"What the hell was that Neil?"

"Good morning to you too Ms. Ajooba"

"Hell with the good morning. What happened?"

"I was here on a mission and saw that a person was in danger and just saved her"

Avni scowled
"By the way, congratulations on your marriage! Arjun seems like a great guy"
Avni sighed and then smiled
"He is. He's an amazing husband"
Neil's smile faltered heading that. He never thought she would get married. She must have moved on

"And your kids are so cute! Always running around like you !"
"Woh toh hai!"
"By the way Avni, if can then can we please talk about..."
"Mr. Khanna please"

Avni rushes outside, tears threatening to spill out. She told Riya to go somewhere else instead.

As she runs out, her locket falls out which Neil sees.

"Avu, don't even mind to him ok. After what he done to you, you shouldn't even consider it"
"You are right ri.."
"Anyway, hows that case going?"
"More difficult then I thought. I can't seem to find him... I need to look more"
Riya sighed. She just wanted that her sister should be fine but she really wanted her to achieve what she wanted.

At the police station, Neil informed the policeman on what happened.

"We will wait till he gets consciousness and then get the truth out of him"

After the meeting, Neil decides to return the locket

At home, Avni was greeting her kids when Neela asked.

"Bacha, where's your necklace ?"

Avni immediately put her hands on her chest, and neck and couldn't find it.
"Areh! Mere locket!" She started panicking because the necklace was extremely important as it always gave her strength.

Then the door rang where Riya opened it.

"Neil?"

"Hi Riya, Namaste Aunty!"

"Areh beta, come in. Would you take any coffee or tea?"

"I'm ok aunty"
"Areh please take a drink"
"Maa let him come for the work he came for! Why are you hell bent on following me?"
"Avni!" Neela scolded
"It's ok aunty! I deserve it. And the by the way Miss Ajooba, you left your necklace at the mall, when you ran away"
Avni grabbed the necklace from him and put it on

Neil in mind: "I'm so glad that you still carry my ring"
"Avni go make coffee" said Neela
She went as Neil looked after, which Neela noticed.

"How are you bacha?"
"I'm fine aunty. I was just busy in an mission."
Riyaan then crawled to him, asking for him to sit on his lap. Neil smiles and put Riyaan on his lap, making him giggle.

"Awe le le, Mere Riyu is smiling hmm"
Avni then came with the coffe and smiled.

Neil took a sip and nearly spit it out. But then continued to drink the rest.

Avni in mind. "Why the hell is he not reacting?"
Neil in mind "oh miss Ajooba! You think you can put salt in my coffee and I won't react? Don't forget, that I can do anything for you! Anything"

"By the way aunty, when is Nanu and Nani coming? Ali told me that they went to Bangalore"
"Oh yeah. Nanu younger sister lives there that's why they went to visit her. They will be back soon".
"Anyway, I must leave and see you again Miss Ajooba"

He then left while Avni scowled

"Avni!" Said Neela
"Haan Maa!"
"You shouldn't have been rude to Neil"
"Maa! I can't believe you are taking his side"
"I'm not taking anyone side! Bacha you need to show that he doesn't affect you and have you considered seeing his side?"

Avni rolled her eyes and left, taking Nisha with her as she needed a bath

Neela sighed.
"Dear god! I need help! Please send us an angel please!"

Later that night, Arjun came back with Aman from sight seeing and Neela told him what happened

"Beta I don't know what to do!"
"Don't worry Maa! I'm sure god has a way. Just wait for a few days"

Later that night, Avni was working on her case
"How can he be proven innocent. We have all these evidence against him unless.."

Avni did some quick calculations and then found something deep.
"I am not sure until I go there myself!"

The next morning was Haldi and everyone was gathered at the Khanna Mansion.

All the gang were back together and were exchanging memories.
Juhi was holding Riyaan who was smiling at her.
"He is so cute!! I want another kid who is a son!"
Vidyut who heard had perked up
"If you want baby, we can have one right now!"
"Shut up! Your daughter is only six months old and you are thinking of another one!"
Vidyut pouted while others laughed
"Bro, you know you can still get the action without making her pregnant"
Vidyut smiles while Suneheri punches DD
"Besharam!"
"Baby, I was just trying to help"
"Thank god, I haven't married you yet"
"But you will naa?"

Neil smiles seeing this and wondered how it would be if Avni and him were married. How they would dote on their kids and how he would secretly romance with her.

Even today, she was looking gorgeous with that a green ghagra choli and a white chunri. He kept falling in love with her.

Soon the Haldi started, with everyone putting Haldi on them.  It was a fun time for all. It helped Avni forget the part and enjoy the present.

Later that evening, it was just the Khanna fam and Mehta fam sitting when the door rang.

All then became shocked at the people who were at the door
