Avni: Wait Neil! Look at this sign on the side! Dev has the same tattoo
Neil: So you think Dev works there
Avni: I will be sure when we see him at the brothel
Neil: Excuse me But "we". Avni I'm not letting you go there at any costs

Neil in mind: Oh Miss Ajooba! I know you are probably calling me billa and monkey and baboon but I can't sacrifice your safety.

Avni rolled her eyes and left while Neil sighed.  His Ajooba was a number one danger fan. She loves danger but why doesn't she ever remember how her loved ones would feel.  His heart beats 10 times out of her cage when I see you in trouble

He gets into flashback mode when he remembers that night

Flashback

Bebe and Neil were driving home after visiting the gurdawara.

Bebe: Now Neil keep the Kara and ring special. It is shown to give us strength in times when we need this

Neil: Bebe why do we wear the Kara?

Bebe: Tillu, our ten gurus have always worn this during the war times. They didn't have fancy equipment like the enemies so they would wear thick, thick karas to protect them and their bodies. We must always wear as a symbol of strength. You will wear it naa Tillu?

Neil nodded: Of course Bebe. When I grow up, I will be a policeman and fight all the bad guys. 

He mimicked punching the guys: Pow Pow 

Bebe smiled: May you receive all the happiness beta. Did you wish for anything else beta?

Neil: I wished for a brother Bebe. I want one who will be my best friend.

Bebe: Areh then what about me? Am I not your Best Friend?

Neil: Of course you are Bebe

He then hugged Bebe who hugged him back.  They broke their hug at the sound of a bullet.

Bebe: Areh yeh kya hua.

Driver: Pata nahi Bebe! Should I check?

Bebe: I'll come with you. Tillu you stay here.

Neil nodded and peered outside. All he saw was a person whose face was covered.

Bebe saw Avni and gasped. "Haye Rabba! We need to go to the hospital right away".

She carried Avni in her lap and instructed the driver.  As soon as Neil saw the girl he gasped. 

"OH no! She's the special girl. Please godji! Please save her. Pls save my friend. I don't want to her die" he thought while crying. Bebe noticed his and rubbed his shoulder to make him feel better.

Bebe felt Avni hand and realized her heartbeat was sinking. 

Bebe: HURRY! PLEASE!

Neil then started freaking out more. He really didn't want his friend to die. He then looked at the ring and sighed. 

Neil in mind: "Please forgive me Godji!".  He then put the ring on her and prayed silently. As they got in the hospital, Avni was immediately taken to the ICU while Neil and Bebe waited sadly.  After 30minutes, they got the news of Neela arriving and left the hospital. After that, they couldn't get any news afterward.

Neil shook his head and sighed. He always get tears when he thinks of the incident.  He made a promise then he will never get his loved ones hurt. His heart swelled in joy when he found out about Avni being alive.

While at the Parikh House,  Neela welcomed Rivthik

Neela: How are you?

Rivthik: I'm good. Came here for a meeting so thought why not meet my best friend

Neela: Of course, everyone will be happy to meet you.

She welcomed Rivthik and everyone welcomed him with open arms. 

Nanu: Now you must stay here for the wedding

Rivthik: Of course Harish Uncle.

Avni, Riya and Aman: And Riv you must come meet the Khanna Fam. Everyone is super nice and sweet

Avni: Except Baboon

Rivthik laughed and asked "Whose Baboon?" Avni scowled and Aman started explaining Neil and the relationship while Rivthik kept laughing

At night Riya was looking at the stars, lying on the still of her bedroom window.  Nanu noticed this and questioned her. Riya then told him about her job offer.

Nanu: Wow Beta, I am happy for you. This is a great opportunity but..

Riya: But what?

Nanu: What about Khanna industries? Don't you still want to work for Maddy?

Riya: That's where I am conflicted Nanu. I can't decide because Maddy Bua has been nothing but kind to me but this is another step for me. It's always been my dreams and you always told me to chase out after my dreams

Nanu: Yes dreams are important but not if they cost you anything in the present.

Riya: Matlab?

Nanu: Think about it and follow your heart. 

Riya nodded and headed to sleep while thinking about the job.

The next morning however, Riya made her decision. 

Riya: Guys I have an announcement.

All looked at her. 

Riya: I decided to take the job offer

Everyone looked but Avni and Nanu looked at her happily.

Avni: What? How could you? 

Riya rolled her eyes in anger: What the hell do you mean? Aren't you happy for me? You never want my happiness do you?

Avni: What? Oh my god Riya what happened to you? Why are you acting like this?

Riya scoffed: What do you mean?

Avni: Look Riya I am happy for your job offer but is it worth it? You just started working for Maddy Khanna and you just found Ali! Is this dream worth leaving him?

Riya: Why do you care so much about Ali? He is my boyfriend not yours!

Avni fumed: He maybe your boyfriend but he is my best friend too and I can't see him suffer.

Riya: Well how to handle him is my choice and I have no time to deal with this nonsense. I'm leaving

She slammed the door on her way out. 

Avni in mind: What the hell happened to my sister?

She then left towards the site in a burqa that she got from Nanno. She came a bit early so Neil wouldn't notice her.

She entered the brothel and disguised her voice: Assalam a alaiquam.

Boy: Walaquam Assalam. You are?

Her: The makeup artist. My name is Waheeda hussain.

The boy nodded and made her go through the brothel to the girls.

She: Woh, can I ask you few questions?

The girls nodded

She: How did you guys get into here?

The girls then started explaining on how they were becoming drugged and unconsciously got here. They were regularly beat up if they deny to do anything. They felt trapped and scared. 

Ananya was at loss of words. She didn't know what to say. She couldn't believe her father would do this. 

She had secretly recorded the questions through a chip she planted in the makeup and started to leave.

As she left, she saw Dev and scowled

Dev stopped her: Kya baat hai? Let me see the person in the burqa as well. I hear they are hidden beauty

As he approached her, he began to open her burqa but luckily he got a call from the sellers.

As Avni left she saw the sellers who was none other than Neil.  It is true that if two people love each other, they always have their backs as Neil was the one who called Dev pretending to be a seller.

At the cafe

Riya came annoyed and just sat on the table

Kabir: What happened di?

Riya: Why do you care?

Kabir: Calm down di! Looks like it's that time of month

Riya: Just shut up!

Kabir who looked genuinely hurt left the table while Ali noticed this.

Ali: Hey what happened to you? Kabir didn't do anything wrong ok? Stop yelling at him

Riya rolled her eyes: Of course you will only take your brother side

Ali: What is that supposed to mean?

Riya: Nevermind, I'm just here to tell you that I'm taking the job interview

Ali: You are? Well congratulations.

Riya softened: Congratulations? You are not going to tell me to stay here?

Ali: Who am I to interview in your dreams? Anyway I have to go work

Riya stood at her place while Ali came to her and gave her a soft peck on the cheeks. They looked at each other with a lot of emotions as if they were trying to figure each other.
