At Khanna Industries
"Ananya Verma at your service sir" said Avni. "Ah yes, your mother Neela Parikh told me about you. You were trained in London and fought cases over there but are well trained in Indian cases too am I right?" Asked Prakash. "Yes sir, I did do research in the Indian court system. I know that system too well" she said wistfully. "That's great to hear! I need an experienced lawyer for my case and I'm glad that I found you, beta". Avni eyes widened at the word beta. "Oh sorry, can I call you beta?" Asked Prakash. "Of course uncle" she cried. Prakash then told her about the case and how someone was accusing them. "Beta I was hoping if you could figure out what is happening?" he asked. "Of course uncle but I am also working at the police station investigating a case, so I will try my best". "That's great to hear! My son works there as well. His name is"but before he could say more, he got a call. Avni waved him goodbye and collected all of the important information from the PA and headed to the station

While at Chamko Cafe
Riya met Maddy and introduced herself as Maya Verma. "Hi Maya, I am Maddy Khanna, the Vice President Of Khannas and Saxenas designs. I heard that you have some designs to show me". "Woh Ma'am" Riya muttered. "What happen, show me the designs". Riya then hesitatingly gave her the designs. "Hmm" Said Maddy. "I'm so sorry Aunty but it is all his fault" she cried pointing at Ali. "He is the one who split coffee on my designs and that's why they are like this". Ali became shocked. "Areh bua... it was a mistake but this crazy girl didn't listen to me". "Who are you calling crazy huh? Why are you calling her bua?". "Because she is mine ok?". "Areh Shant ho jao beta.." exclaimed Maddy. "Beta these designs are outstanding.. these coffee stains didn't ruin them but added a bit more colour and made it vibrant. I am so glad that I found a designer with new ideas. My partner is kind of a bore and her designs are mediocre. She doesn't know that I conducted this meeting though. But that's ok, I will tell her later on". Riya smiled at this when Ali saw this. "Wow she smiles just like my... Areh Ali what are you saying Haan?". "You can join us tomorrow and meet my partner tomorrow". Riya nodded and Maddy left giving a hug to Riya and Ali.  Riya then left but not before giving cash to Ali. "What is this for?". "Looks like you suffer from short term memory loss. This money for coffee that I bought". "That's not needed". "Areh take the money. Besides it looks like you need it". "I would have taken it but I won't because you never drank the coffee and I spilled it so it's not fair for me to make you guys pay". Riya became a bit overwhelmed at this gesture. She smiled and left the cafe to go to Nanu. Ali smiled at seeing her. "I don't know why but after meeting her, I just felt another connection. It made me feel happy seeing her smile".

At the police station, Neil kept thinking about his meeting with that girl. "She is a number one Ajooba. I haven't met anyone like her. She's bold, fiery, rude but also pretty. Oh god Neil, why are you thinking about her huh? You just met her". He opens his eyes and saw the girl in front of him. He got up with a jolt and rubbed his eyes. The girl was indeed in front of him. "Oh hello!? Where are you lost? I have been standing here for the past 5 minutes" said Avni. "Sorry, I am ACP Neil Khanna and what can I do for you?" . "I am advocate Ananya Verma and I am your new lawyer for the cAse". Neil nodded and gestured her to sit down. "Miss Verma, are you rude in the courtroom as well or is it just to people?". "I am rude to those who are wrong. I am not afraid of fighting the wrong." "Wow, she's strong too. God Neil!! Stop thinking about her!!".  "Well I have heard great things about you and I looking forward towards working with each other". "Wish I could say the same" she said musingly.  "I have to go to a meeting and I will tell DD to give you the informationn". Avni nodded and when Neil left, he forgot his phone and it ranged. She picked it up and before she could say hello, the voice spranged. "Oye tillu where are you Haan? Don't tell me that you are at the police station. You spend the whole day there and no time with us at all. I am missings you and you said you will come home for  dinner on time." exclaimed Shweta. "Areh Aunty, your Tillu is at a meeting right now". Shweta became surprised hearing a girls voice. "Oye Who are you Haan?. "I'm a lawyer". "Can you give the phone to Tillu". Avni agreed and mentally laughed. "Tillu?" she thought. She went to the meeting room and knocked at the door. "Yes... ms Verma. Don't you understand that you shouldn't interrupt a meeting" Neil scolded. "I very well understand what I need to do and I wanted to tell you that you got a phone call". "Then cut it. Especially if it's mom. God mom, she always calls for the littlest stupid reasons. She's such a dictator sometimes and her complaining session. God she can be embarrassing" Neil complained not realizing his mom was on the phone hearing this. "But Tillu... your mom is on the phone right now. She's listening to this" Said Avni. "Tillu?" Asked a colleague. Neil became embarrassed and left the room. "Did you have to call me that?" He asked. "Should've thought what you said to me? I very well know what I should do and what I should not do so please don't tell me ok?!" And with that she left with style and swag making Neil annoyed with her.

At evening, Avni and Riya were talking about their days to Nanu and how they met Neil and Ali. "I swear Nanu, I never met irritating creature in my life" Said Avni. Nanu laughed. "What's funny Nanu?" She askdx. "Beta it seems like that you did a PHD on this boy". Avni rolled her eyes and then suddenly two people come and put their hands on Riya's and her eyes.
"Tum!" They both cried
