I finally finished my guitar hime and I'm actually pretty proud! Whoooo~!

She's kinda meant to be wearing a shiny jacket? idek what I was thinking lol. And I added some random gold cause then the guitar would stick out in an odd way... It still looks kinda weird though. Probably the most proud of the skirt down XP

Wish I was talented enough to draw a background...

Okay, next I'm going to have to really really apologise for the news I'm about to say. I didn't want to have to do this, but I just don't think it's going to be possible.

For the band collage, I can only accept digital art pieces only. I'm really sorry to all you traditional artists out there, I really respect that you can produce such wonderful art with no ctrl z button and limited resources but after fiddling with my completed image of Guitarist Hime and trying to remove the background...

Well, it just didn't work out. Even after I spent ages trying to rub out the white paper behind her, it still proved futile since it's impossible to get a perfect line. So unless one of you guys have a solution to this problem, I can't place your traditional piece in the final collage. I'm very very sorry about this since that'd mean I would have to redraw my piece as well even after all the time I spent on it.

But this brings me to another point. A few of you have asked why it must have a transparent background. The reason is so that I can layer and scale the characters, and it will look natural and realistic without a huge white square surrounding each character. I know this might seem annoying so if you don't want to participate in the collage anymore, that's fine. BUT I would still love to see your completed drawings (and all you traditional artists too!) and you can still be a band, just unfortunately not a part of the collage.

Once again, I'm very sorry for this :c It just didn't occur to me that even with cool technology you can't perfectly remove the background without removing some of the lineart and colour with it.

So no rush to all you digital artists who still want to participate, since I'm going to have to redraw my Guitar Hime digitally... *sigh*
