So if you're like me and prefer drawing girls as opposed to guys, and at the rare chance that you do decide to draw a guy, it ends up looking like a girl (wow that was a mouthful), then HERE'S the tutorial for you!

Okay, so not saying I'm the best at drawing guys either since I can't remember the last time I attempted to draw one, but some general rules that I go by to make sure it looks GUY and not GIR-oh-wait-i-think-its-a-guy XD

1. Guys have longer faces

So as a general rule (unless you're drawing a shota or something) if you want an easy way for someone to look masculine, then make their face longer.

I mean their face doesn't have to be long for it to look like a guy (take Midoriya from My Hero Academia for example) but this is just a go-to for instant guy-ish-ness

2. The angle of their... jawbone?

Note that the female face's jawbone angle is closer to 90 degrees and the male would be closer to 180 degrees (I really like using maths comparisons in my tutorials, don't I? XD)

3. Chin pointy-ness

I don't usually do this, but many guys in anime and anime-style art are drawn with slightly less pointy chins. But like I've said before, they don't have to have a flat chin to look like a guy (take lelouch from Code Geass for example... his chin looks like it could kill O_O)

4. Eye Shape

Guys tend to have narrower, more flat eyes compared to girls, but once again (I'm sure you've gotten tired of me saying this) it doesn't have to be like this for it to look like a guy. An example could be Nagisa from Assassination Classroom--but I mean its a running joke that he looks like a girl, so I don't know if that supports my point much. XD

But if you want to draw a shota, then yes, go for dem round eyes :P Oh and also guys don't really have eyelashes that fluff out

5. Shoulder Width

Guys have wider shoulders than girls (it's a masculine thing) so if you want someone to look more manly, well widen dem shoulders gurl! (to a certain extent since any more would look stupid XD)

6. Hipless

I'd say guys are relatively hipless, since well hips in women are primarily for one purpose... to pop out that babe (AHA kms)

SO yeah if you're aiming to draw a guy, make sure you don't give him hips by accident cause dat gonna look weird...
