She was soon made to sit beside him after greeting their relatives, clasping her palms, respectively.

She dared not to look at him. Then, the initial ritual was performed by her that Shiva had already performed.

Then, the priest gave them some flower petals in their palms and told them to clasp their palms and greet Lord Shiva and Parvati, repeating the mantras he said.

Priest:Sandhanam kumkumam gaali aayiduthey ma.. illaingalaa?

Bhanu:Irukku saamy irunga eduthuttu varen..

Sathya:Neenga irunga ma naan eduthuttu varen..

She left.

In between that, 

Ashwathy:Paa..

After performing the navagraha pooja, 

The priest got up, followed by the wedding couple. She gripped his palm tight, not wanting to cry.

The priest gave the sacred coconut to her palms after performing some poojas, and he made Shiva stand before them.

Kumar lifted his daughter's hand and passed the coconut to Shiva with teary eyes, while Bhanu wiped her tears and smiled, sprinkling holy water on the coconut.

Shiva was more ready to comfort them, but the priest told him to repeat some mantras and kept him busy.

Ashwathy got up from her father's lap and didn't turn towards him, as she knew that she ended up being a crying mess, which would make everyone feel worried. So, she kept her emotions aside and performed the ritual.

Then, Laxmi took the thaambulam plate with the saree, jewels, and garlands and passed it to Shiva.

Priest:Ponnu kaila kudungo..

Shiva gave the plate to Ashwathy, who got it from him with a smile. He smiled back and blinked his eyes. She nodded her head and left with her family and friends to change into the saree given to her by her groom.

Ashwathy:Ufff..

She sat on the bed and left her tears of mixed-emotions to drench her cheeks.

Sathya:Hey enna di?

Ashwathy:Ivlo emotional aagum nu naan edhir paakala di..

She hugged her waist and sobbed silently for some time. Mani caressed her hair while Sindhu grabbed her palms, comforting her. Her sisters looked at her with a smile.

The priest took the sacred yellow thread from the coconut. Shiva gulped and shook his head slightly to get a clear view. Their parents were also experiencing the same emotions as their children. Their eyes got blurred when Shiva got the nuptial thread from the priest's hand and turned towards Ashwathy.

Shiva's blurred eyes met her teary eyes and her smiling lips, as he brought his hand closer to her neck and started tying their symbol of relationship around her neck. The drums and the nadhaswaram echoed throughout the hall. Ashwathy closed her eyes, and they were blessed with the rose petals and sacred rice grains from their family, friends, and wellwishers.

Shiva tied the two knots and left Mani to tie the remaining one. He exhaled a huge breath and looked at "His wife," who was still lowering her head as Mani, Sathya, and Sindhu corrected the thaali around her neck, taking out her heavy braid and garland above it. She hissed a few times, and they said some sweet nothings and left her free.

Ashwathy chuckled, closing her eyes, while Shiva blushed at hearing some teasing words from his sister, Sindhu, and his dhosts.

And then, Shiva placed the kumkum on her nuptial thread and smiled at her, intertwining their fingers together.

Priest:Paiyanoda akka oh, thangachi oh vandhu ponnu, maapla thuni munaigal'eh katti vidungo..

Mani kneeled down between them and tied Ashwathy's saree pallu's edge with the long towel-like light purple shawl that was flowing from Shiva's shoulder with the sincere prayer to make his brother and little sister-in-law lead a happy life together.

And then, the priest stood up, followed by the couple, and made them intertwine fingers together and he tied the yellow cloth around their palms.

She gave him her hand, and he stood beside her, taking her hand into his before taking her into his arms, wrapping his hand around her shoulder. She placed her head on his chest, and their friends and some of their relatives clicked a picture of them.

Shiva and Ashwathy moved towards Shiva's mother's parents and bent down to touch their feet together.

Laxmi's mom:Theerkaisoda irunga da kanna..

Laxmi's dad: Sandhoshamaa irunga da..

They stood up, getting their blessings. Shiva hugged his grandma, and she kissed his cheek. And then she hugged Ashwathy and kissed her cheek too happily.

Then they moved towards Shiva's parents and touched their feet.

They blessed them with tears of happiness. Laxmi hugged his son and shed some tears at finally seeing him as a married man. Vetri hugged Ashwathy and kissed her temple.

Shivadith:Maa podhum ma alaadha.. ini aludhanaa paaru.. adhaa nee aasa patta maadhiri kalyanam pannikitan le?

Laxmi:Seri da kanna..

She wiped her tears and cupped his cheeks, kissing his forehead.

And then, they got exchanged as Shiva hugged his father while Ashwathy hugged her official mother-in-law, who kissed each other's cheeks and foreheads, expressing their love.

Then, they went towards Ashwathy's parents and touched their feet.

They blessed them and hugged them together wholeheartedly with joyous tears.

Kumar:Alugaadha mole.. ippo enna.. vaa.. achaa kitta..

She hugged him and shedded tears. He wiped away her tears and kissed her top head affectionately.

Bhanu:mole..

Ashwathy:Amme..

BHanu:Sandhoshamaa iru di..

They hugged each other.

Kumar wrapped his hand around Shiva and looked at him. 

Shiva gripped his father-in-law's fingers on his arm and squeezed it before saying, 

Shivadith:Naan paathuppen mama..

He said like promising him.

Kumar:Theriyum maapla.. neenga sandhoshama irundhaa podhum engalukku..

Shiva smiled at him who smiled back at him wide.

Then, they got blessings from Mani and Hussain.

Mani:Happy aah irunga da..

Hussain:Happy married life thangangalaaa..

They thanked them, sharing a hug.

After getting a few more elder relatives and wellwishers blessings, they moved towards Agasthiyan and his wife, Mithra.

And touched their feet.

Agas:Nallaa irunga pa..

Mithra: Sandhoshamaa irunga pa..

They blessed them and hugged them.

Agas: Newly married guy.. happy aah?

He asked, hitting his well-built shoulder.

Shivadith:Vaarthai aala solla mudiyaadha alavukku sir..

Agasthiyan smiled at him.

Agas:Happy aah iru da.. adhaa engalukkum venum.. take care of her.. inga paaru Ashwathy, ivan edhaadhu unta kathunaa enkitta vandhu sollu.. lockup le thalli adi pinneeren..

Shivadith:Illa purila enakku?

Ashwathy chuckled.

Ashwathy:Kandippa soldren sir..

He turned towards her with a open mouth.

Shivadith:Eyy enna kootu seruringalaa?

Ashwathy:Adhellaa apdidha..

Agas:Aama apdidha..

Agasthiya lifted his hand for a hifi, Ashwathy too shared a hifi with him.

Shiva glared at them fakely but soon chuckled. After sharing some words,

Laxmi:Seri vaanga pa saapda polaam.. neram aagudhu.. evlo nero saapdaamaye iruppinga.. vaanga. sir neengalu vaanga saapudlaam..

Agas:Varen ma.. ponga da poi saapdunga..

Shiva grabbed her palm, and they stepped forward to the food court, followed by their family and friends.

After having their breakfast,

Mani:Naan en kalyanathukku kooda ivlo emotional aagala da..

Ashwathy:Aama anni paathen... enga thuni kattumbodhu kooda avlo sincere aah pray panneete panninga..

Mani:Enga veetla ellaarume Shiva ku yeppo da kalyanam aagum nu nenachuttu kavala pattutu irundho da.. ippo aagumbodhu.. oru alavu kadandha sandhosham.. adhaa ellaarukkum avlo emotional aayiruchu..

Sathya:Adhaa ippo aayiruchu le ka?

Mani:Adhaa.. avana nalla paathuko Ashwathy.. yedhunaalu pesi purunju iurndhukonga.. avan paasamaanavanga kitta mattum dhaan avan sensitive aana side kaamippaan.. yerkanave unkitta kaamchiruppaan nu nenaikiren.. adhunaala unkitta solla onnum illa neeye purunjiruppa.. avana paathukko da.. yedhunaalu vittutu mattum poyiraadha avana.. odanjiruvaan..

Ashwathy:Anni..(grabbed her palms).. filmy aah irundhaalum, avaru ennoda paadhi uyir anni.. epdi naan vittutu poven sollunga?adhellaa naan en kanavula kooda nenachu paaka maaten..

Mani smiled and patted her cheek.

And the girls gang got themselves immersed in their girly talks, teasing, and laughter.

Ashwathy chuckled seeing Mani and Sathya's fight over their affection for Shiva and turned here and there searching for him.

And finally, her black orbs spotted his brown ones. She smiled and raised her eyebrows at him.He smiled, shaking his head, and blinked his eyes, mouthing, "Love you"

She smiled, showing her dimple, and mouthed back, "Love you more"

Then, with eye contact and a dimple smile contact, they shared many emotions with each other without having any word contact.

They felt as if they had finally entered the unique period of married life, thanks to the content heart and Kadavul's settings and blessings.
