Two months later,

Shiva turned towards his left, and his hand searched his wife beside him but squinted his eyes and opened them completely to see the empty bed beside him.

He turned to see his right where Shivash was sleeping, hugging his fluffy pillow.

He sat up, yawned, and looked at the restroom door, which was open, and then towards the balcony door, which was also open.

Shivadith: Idha close panneetu dhane padutho?

He stood up, moved towards the balcony, and saw his wife on the beanbag with an egg omlette plate in her hand.

Shivadith:Maa..

She turned towards him.

Shivadith: Inga enna ma pandra?

Ashwathy: Summa dha neenga yen vandhinga?

Shivadith: Nee kaanome nu dha vandhen...

Ashwathy: Kaanaama poga naan enna chimna kozhandhaiyaa Shivadith? Ponga naan varen..

Next morning,

Ashwathy cried hearing the thud sound of the door and patted Shivash's chest, who whined in his sleep.

But she wiped her tears when Shiva came in again, took his wallet, watch, key, and phone, and left with the same thud of the door, and Shivash cried out loud.

Ashwathy: Seri ma seri ma seri ma.

Shivash hugged her hand and slowly drifted back to sleep.

After ten minutes of silent stare over the wall with Shivash in her arms and she was beside him laying on the bed, she heard a doorknocking sound.

Laxmi:Ashwathy..

She wiped her face quickly, cleared her throat, and,

Laxmi came inside and sat beside her on the bed.

Ashwathy giggled in his arms,hooked his neck, and looked at his lovely twinkling eyes and smiling lips and cupped his cheek with her palm, feeling emotional that finally she told him the happy news more happily without any nervousness in her eyes.

As he stopped his twirl, he left her on her feet, cupped her face in his palms, kissed her whole face, and then finally on her lips. But she pushed him gently when she felt a tug on her loose track pants. Both looked down to see their son, who gave them his signature squinted eyes. They chuckled. Shiva lifted him in his arms and both kissed him in the cheeks.

Then they went to have their family dinner and returned to their respective rooms.
