The elders and friends blessed them with a shower of sacred rice.

Before they could straighten up for the vows,.

Bhanu stopped Sindhu and clasped a chain around her neck. Laxmi wore bangles in her hands.

She smiled and kissed him, and he leaned on her chest, slowly drifting off to sleep.

Shiva made him sleep on the cradle, took the oil, and massaged her feet and back, removing her saree.

She removed his vest and unhooked her blouse, and they hid themselves and their muffled moans under the blanket before drifting off to their ecstatic sleep.
