Both Geto and Gojo looked really surprised. They had never seen her tense for a mission. Even Yaga was surprised

"It's a mission derectly given from tengen sama."

Sakura narrowed her eyes

"What's the percentage of us failing or having regrets with this mission?"

Yaga straighten up. Looking at her with a serious look, but before he could say anything

"It's okay sakura-chan. Don't be afraid. We will protect you. We are the strongest after all."

"Yeah, don't worry, sakura-chan. We will take care of it."

Again, Geto and Gojo said overconfidently

"Did I ask you something?"

Sakura said though gritted teeth and closed eyes

"If I didn't, then don't talk. Have some decency and respect for the person who is taking by keeping your mouth shut"

"I am declining this mission."

Now everyone looked shocked.

It's been three months sakura joined Tokyo jujutsu high. Never once did she declined any missions. She worked for her father's team, in the infametory on top of that, regular training and studies.

To her it never mattered if she's tired or not, she never declined any missions.

She took her work and job very seriously.

So it was quite shocking for her to just flat on decline any mission

Yaga started but sakura cut him of

" Oh I can. As a jujutsu Sorcerer, if I feel the need to decline a mission, a mission that I think isn't suited for me and could possibly be the reason of my death, I can decline any mission. I know it. My father told me just fine."

"Never thought you would decline any mission, Sato-chan. You are one of my strongest female students I've ever had."

Sakura narrowed her eyes and glared at Yaga

"Sensei, it's not about me being strong or weak. It's about my boundaries and morals. I can already see this mission failing. This isn't a mission for highschool students. This mission should be appointed to someone like my father or...... The previous star plasma vessel. Yuki Tsukomo. Where is she? this mission is best suited for her. Why did anyone even think about us in the first place?'

yaga thought, surprised yet  empressed

"She and your father both are abroad. They can't do it."

"So you're gonna give such a big burden to them, your students who are still children?"

Sakura snapped

"Sato-chan, it's not in my hands."

"That's no excuse sensei. I know I can't try to pull them back even if I try to. They won't listen to me. They are hot headed teenagers. They are still in their rebellious phase. It's so easy to manipulate them."

She said, looking at Geto and Gojo with a distent look

"Sakura-chan, thank you for your concern but we are perfectly capable in doing this mission."

Geto said a bit offended

"Yeah, do you think we are that weak that we won't even be able to escort a brat!?"

Gojo snapped. Sakura's actions derectly hitting his ego.

Sakura wasn't the least bit offended by their harsh words

"See, what I am saying sensei. They are still kids they don't understand the weight of this mission. They won't even understand if I beg them. But you know what kind of mission this is. Please sensei, don't do this to them."

She pleaded to her sensei

"Sato-chan..... You can decline the mission but you can't force them to do so."

Her shoulder slumped with defeat.

She knew she couldn't do anything anymore. It wasn't in her hand. She looked down at her hand

She got up and was about to leave the room when Yaga suddenly asked

"Why are you so afraid of this mission, Sato-chan?"

She looked back, looking at him dead in the eyes

" If there is one thing I am most afraid of in this world, it's having regrets. The burden of regret is something you can never recover or be free from."

Her eyes went from yaga to her senpai

And she remembered everything

The regret of chasing after Sasuke. The regret of The burden that she put on Naruto for Sasuke. The regret of never being enough.

Still looking at them, she said

" Burden of regret is something I wouldn't even wish upon my greatest enemies. they're my friends, I care about them, Why would I ever want it for them?"

Everyones eyes waiden in utter shock

Yaga couldn't believe what his youngest student was saying. Being mature for your age is one thing but what she was saying is almost enigmatic.

No fourteen year old should speak like that.

" Who exactly are you Sato-chan?"

Sakura ignored his questions before saying

"If something bad happens to them, I will not forgive any of you."

This made Yaga flinch

Sakura left her room

"Did she just say she cares about us or am I hearing things suguru?"

"So you two are really going, huh?"

A voice asked from behind

It was sakura. She was sitting there looking up at them.

"Your still worried. Don't be, blossom-chan. We will always win."

Gojo said with his usual grin

" I am not complaining, It feels amazing to see you worried about me. I love this feeling. You can always be like this."

Geto said with a smirk

Sakura sighed

"Can you two please, for once, put your arrogance and overconfidence aside and think rationally. This mission is way too dangerous."

"We can do it. We are the strongest after all"

Sakura sighed again

"Please, just once, listen to me. You can still decline. It's not too late. Please don't go."

She said with pleading eyes.

Now both Gojo and Geto looked surprised. This side of her.... She's never been like this. She's always hot headed and prideful. To see her so vulnerable in front of them really did touch their hearts

Geto came closer to her, pulling her towards himself. Wrapping one of his arms around her waist. Sakura slitly lost her balance, resulting her to clunch on his uniform. Gojo was on her back. Her back touching his chest.

She was pressed between them like a sandwich

"We promise we will get back safely, Hime."-Geto

Now, she didn't stop him when he called her Hime. Other times she would at least glare at them but now she was just looking downwards And Geto was overjoyed

"Yeah, then you have to go on a date with us, sakura Hime. For underestimating us."-Gojo

Sakura chuckled

"Is this how you behave with every girl you like?"

They frowned their eyebrows

"No, we don't."

Gojo said, offended

"Yeah, you're just spacial."

She chuckled again and rolled her eyes

"Sure, sure, whatever you say."

" So you're gonna come on a date with us?"

"You're two people, dumbass. I am one. Not possible."

"We don't mind."

She sighed again as they said that in union

"Okay, if you keep your promise and come back safely  "

She softly wispered. Sakura was looking downwards so she didn't see the grin that spread on their faces

As they left saying goodbye

" I really hope everything goes okay."

She wispered to herself as she was waiving at them
