The plains of northwest China became the battlefield of one of the biggest conflicts. The small army of more than a thousand Kung Fu students and masters faced Sun Wukong who, although weak, was one of the most powerful entities in heaven and earth.
The Monkey King's heart burned strongly at his unrelenting thirst for battle. Each of his copies was an extension of his own power, and like Kai, he had to distribute his strength into his own invincible army.
The clash of armies shook the earth. The copies of Sun Wukong were outnumbered five to one, but this wasn't a problem at all. The stone statues, whose faces held a serious and disinterested look, charged head-on and managed to subdue several of their opponents. Their stone batons had no magical powers, they didn't stretch or shrink, but they struck hard enough to break sword blades or the brittle wooden shafts of spears. The battle had only just begun, and the Jade Army had almost lost half their strength by failing to bring down their indestructible solid stone opponents.
Po, the old and the new Furious Five, formed an elite group and went head-to-head against the original Sun Wukong and three of his copies.
Viper and Monkey were fiercely facing off against one of Sun Wukong's stone statues. The blades of their weapons were not capable of destroying the hard rock, and the metal began to give way under the constant tension to which they were subjected. Despite being able to easily evade the statue's attacks, the two masters had to back off while combining their attacks to try and find a weak spot.
Tigress and Crane were dueling against another of the stone statues. Tigress, who had lost the mobility of her left hand, charged forward brandishing her sword while Crane constantly attacked from above in mid-flight. Crane's chest ached like never before, due to the pair of flat ribs he had, and each flap of his wings feeling like hell. But still, they must defeat their invincible opponent at any cost.
The new Five Furious faced the last stone statue. Although they had mastered their combat techniques very well, their lack of experience did not allow them to surpass their adversary, who had experienced the taste of battle countless times. With Peng leading the way, the five students were able to hit the Sun Wukong copy multiple times, but their weapons took more damage than the statue's stone body.
Finally, Po was directly facing the original Sun Wukong. Their duel seemed to be a veritable clash of the titans. The impact of the Ruyi Jingu Bang staff with the edge of the Sword of Heroes produced powerful shock waves that rippled across the battlefield. Po was giving everything he had not to be outdone by Sun Wukong, who had enormous satisfaction drawn on his face.
Sun Wukong: - This is a worthy battle! - He yelled loudly after a long and insane laugh and continued to attack Po with all his strength.
Sun Wukong used both ends of his staff to try to strike down Po, who swung his sword with speed and precision to block or deflect each of his attacks, and on some occasions, attempted to slash the Monkey King's body, to which he responded almost immediately.
The duel lasted long enough for Po to begin to suffer from fatigue, in addition, he was still somewhat dazed after the blow he received on the chin. The rest of the masters looked on short occasions to see as Po was slowly being outmatched by Sun Wukong, but even if they tried to help him, the copies of Sun Wukong wouldn't let them.
Sun Wukong: - Don't you get it!? A mere mortal won't be able to defeat me! -
Sun Wukong's words did havoc in Po's mind. Despite being willing to defeat his enemy, he knew very well that he would not be able to defeat the demigod. Still, he knew that he was not going to give up until the last breath of life he had left.
Sun Wukong, seeing Po's determination burning in his eyes, felt an intense flame to surface in his chest. His spark of war lust burned strong within him, giving the Monkey King a satisfaction, he hadn't felt since his confrontation with Nezha, the Third Prince of the Lotus, the only one capable of arousing his emotion in the entire celestial army.
Then, Sun Wukong understood. That panda, which he called a mere mortal, was able to awaken a fire that he thought he would never feel again. And in some way, he was grateful for it. The Monkey King's eyes began to glow, and a strange red aura began to surround Sun Wukong's figure, a strange aura of battle thirst.

In a frenzied state, Sun Wukong charged head-on at Po, tipping him a barrage of blows that the master could barely dodge. The clash of weapons produced powerful shock waves that tore the eardrums of all those present on the battlefield. Even the ones that lay on the grass, defeated and covered in wounds, raised their heads to see from a distance the clash of the titans.
Sun Wukong was so focused on Po that his clones remained motionless on the battlefield. Stand firm supporting the copy of the staff on the ground. Some students saw an opportunity to hit the stone statues, but all they managed to do was wear down or break their weapons. Understanding that they never had a chance from the start. At this point in the battle, his hopes rested only on Master Po, who was losing the match against the Monkey King.
Viper: - Po! - She yelled loudly, but the panda could not lose concentration.
Monkey: - We have to help him.
Tigress: - No. If we get closer, we will only be a burden to him. -
Crane: - There must be a way. -
The teachers looked at each other worriedly trying to find a way to help Po, or at that rate, it would be a matter of time before he lost the battle. Then Peng, the snow leopard whose silver armor was either completely shattered and his spear beyond repair, brushed past the masters and stopped a few meters from where Po and Sun Wukong were fighting to the death.
Tigress: - Come back immediately, young man! -
Lian: - Peng! What are you doing!? -
The snow leopard did not pay attention to the words of those who yelled at him from behind. The combat between Po and Sun Wukong made his fur and crimson cloak flutter wildly. But to everyone's surprise, Peng clasped his hands on his chest, turned his left hand over his head and his right hand under his abdomen, stretched both hands out in front, and his palms began to shine.
The young Peng was transferring his Chi to Master Po while dueling. One alone would not be enough, but the Chi of over a thousand students would be an unstoppable force. The teachers were the first to follow the young snow leopard. The students did their best to stand up and do the same. And in a few seconds, Po's body received an enormous amount of Chi capable of surpassing the limits of any mortal, but not the Dragon Warrior.
A strange golden aura began to cover Po's body. The panda felt a satisfying warmth inside its chest, and its wounds and pains began to heal spontaneously. His body began to feel lighter and little by little, he was able to equate his strength with Sun Wukong.
With all the Chi he had received, Po's body had slight "explosions" of power. His movements were so fast and dynamic that no one present could clearly see what was happening. The only one capable of following in his footsteps was Sun Wukong himself.
The duel between Po and the Monkey King seemed to take an unexpected turn. Little by little, Po was able to get closer to the demigod, and even make him back slowly, to the point that Sun Wukong had to jump back to avoid being cut in two by the sharp Sword of Heroes.
Sun Wukong kept staring at Po when he noticed something strange. He put his hand on his chest and could see his own blood. Po was able to slash the demigod with his sword. Seeing this, everyone present cheered in favor of the master, who did not lose his opponent's gaze for a second. But the happiest of all was the Monkey King.

Sun Wukong raised his arm straight to the sky, and their stone clones turned to dust. Dust that swirled across the battlefield, fueled by the power of the demigod, and finally, he focused on his raised hand. Sun Wukong had recovered the power that he had secreted in his copies, but there was something else.
Something exploded inside Sun Wukong, something very powerful. The Monkey King's armor began to burn on fire, along with his staff and the headdress. Those who were closest could notice how the temperature gradually increased. Some of the students even felt fatigued inside their own armor. It was Sun Wukong's flame, the one that had fully awakened and burned brighter than ever. His lust for battle had overwhelmed his sanity and Po could see it.
Sun Wukong charged head-on with a speed never seen before. Even Po in his best form couldn't avoid receiving a powerful blow that sent him flying more than ten meters from where he stood. The rest could only watch in terror as Po barely managed to get back up slowly. The armor around his ribs was falling apart from the heavy blow, and his ragged breathing indicated that several of his ribs had been broken and were puncturing his left lung.
Po could barely look up, and Sun Wukong was next to him, ready to tip him another blow that he could barely deflect with his sword. The Monkey King raised his staff while showing enormous satisfaction drawn in your face. Po raised the Sword of Heroes to block the coming blow, but as Sun Wukong brought his weapon down hard, a curtain of dust was blown up by the wind, obscuring the vision of all those on the battlefield.
For a few seconds, not many were able to see what had happened, but they were able to hear a piercing voice screaming in anguish.
Víper: - NOOOOOOO! -
When the rest were able to see through from the dust, their hearts stopped for a few seconds.
Po was down on both knees on the ground, with Sun Wukong right in front. Behind Po, a huge crack had formed, and grass had been burned by the force of the demigod. Half of the Sword of the Heroes' blade lay on the ground, the other half still attached to the handle that Po could barely hold. But most heartbreaking of all, was seeing how Sun Wukong's staff had penetrated Po's armor and ripped his body from his left shoulder to the middle of his chest.
The Monkey King's strength had cut Po's body almost in half, and while his followers looked at the masters with eyes full of sadness, Po could see with his last will how Tigress, Monkey and Crane had to hold his beloved Viper, who screamed in pain from a distance.
Po: - Forgive me. -
He whispered lightly before taking his last breath.
