(I) Acceptance
There is nothing better in this life than seeing the fruits sown in the past. Years of tranquility and prosperity. Leading a quiet life, one whose main reason for moving forward is peace and personal growth... and Spiritual.
Several years had passed since Po inherited the responsibility of guiding his people in the ways of Kung Fu. Following in the footsteps of his mentor and friend, Shifu, Po now led his students, the new Furious Five, into an era of glory for the valley.
Peng, Lian, Bian Zao, Jing Mai and Jian, trained their bodies and minds to inherit the legacy that lay on their shoulders. The legacy of protecting the valley, and its people. Po was a pious, but demanding teacher. He expected a lot from them, and just like his old mentor, he demanded equal dedication and dedication from his students. Although it did not limit them from escaping to the city from time to time to enjoy the small pleasures of life.
While Po dedicated himself to instructing the new Furious Five, Vívora became the head teacher of the great school in the Valley of Peace. Thousands of students from all over China stood respectfully before the great teacher, a former member of the Furious Five. And don't be fooled by her relaxed attitude and constant smile, because the least you wanted was to make her angry. Although it's not that he was going to treat you badly for not being able to master a technique. Although I would make you repeat it until you mastered it.
It was a quiet afternoon in the Valley of Peace. Classes had ended for today, and each teacher or student had the possibility of occupying their time with whatever they wanted. Po remained seated under the Peach Tree of Heavenly Wisdom, that secluded place where he always found peace and tranquility.
The panda, now about forty years old, stood cross-legged, chin up, feeling the breeze hit his face and the energy of the universe flow through his body. His black kimono was extremely formal, which made a curious game with his small goatee and his mustaches that reached his chin, something he liked to copy from his former master Shifu with pride.
Near him was always his peculiar staff, the one that Oogway himself gave him in the spirit world after defeating Kai and becoming a spiritual warrior. It was his most prized possession, and he took care of it with great suspicion.
It was strange to see him without his bamboo hat, the one he almost always wore outside the Temple and which had become part of himself. Furthermore, inside he believed that he looked very heroic with that style, because despite his maturity, he always enjoyed being a child inside. But his peace would not doubt long, because a very welcome presence soon climbed up his back until it settled gladly on his shoulders.
Viper: - Ufff... Today has been a hot day. -
Po: - We are in summer... The sun shines with more and more strength. -
Viper: - Yes... Luckily this place always has a breeze to reinvigorate you. -
Po: - Why do you think I like it here? -
A small comment that drew a few laughs, seconds before Víbora settled on his shoulders to rest in a more comfortable way. Po didn't stop him, as his cold, scaly skin was very refreshing in this climate, until Viper finally stopped moving, allowing himself to take a long sigh.
Viper: - Is something wrong? -
Po: - No... Just... I was thinking about all the time we have lived... The things we have done... Those we have known... And forgotten. -
Viper felt somewhat confused at this. Although Po sometimes made quite thoughtful comments, when it was just the two of them he tended to be more childish and joking. The fact that he was so thoughtful was strange to him. Something that did not go unnoticed, because there was no reason why he knew it like the scales of his skin.
Viper: - Po... What's happening? -
Po: - Me? Nothing... Nothing's wrong with me... -
Viper: - Yeah... And I have legs... Do you think you can hide something from me? -
Po: - Haha... I guess you're right. -
While laughing, Po couldn't help but look at his wife and scratch her chin with his hand, something she really enjoyed, but soon his gaze was lost again in the distant landscapes that such a high place allowed them to see.
Po: - I think... I'm getting old. -
Viper resisted... And then he laughed.
Po: - Hey... Don't laugh... I'm serious. - He said more like a mockery.
Viper: - I'm sorry... I just didn't see it coming.
Po: - I imagine... But it's something I've been thinking about lately. -
Viper: - Wow... Have you been thinking? That's new... Hee hee. -
Po: - Hey... Now you'll see... -
There was nothing that mortified Viper more than Po tickling him. The panda knew the specific places where it bothered her the most, although considering that the snake was around her neck, it was not difficult to apply a strangulation technique to make it stop.
Po: - Okay... I give up... - He said when he saw himself defeated.
Viper: - And now seriously... What's all this about you feeling old...? -
Po: - I... I was just thinking... Maybe it's time to look for a successor. -
Viper: - Wait... I mean... -
Po: - Yes... I think it's time to choose the new Dragon Warrior. -
Víbora was shocked by the news, although assimilating it was not too far-fetched. No one but Po would know when his time would come... When it would be time to leave the path of the warrior and begin to take the first steps on the path of peace and meditation. Carry on the legacy of Oogway before him. Train the next Dragon Warrior and fulfill your destiny. There was only one big question.
Viper: - But... Who...? Who would be worthy of obtaining unlimited power?.. Become the next Dragon Warrior... -
Po: - Yo no se... -
-------------------------------------------------------------
Hello everyone. As you can see, this intro is very different from the one in the movie for obvious reasons. After all, I already made a movie in between XD.
This last dialogue between Viper and Po was very funny to me, as it was a reference to the conversation between Shifu and Oogway, when the turtle mentioned that it was time to choose a new Dragon Warrior. I don't know about you... But for me it would have been a nice touch.
Why didn't I write the scene of the Chameleon turned into Tai Lung attacking the mine? Simple. If in the trailer you tell us that the Chameleon transforms into Tai Lung, that scene does not have any type of impact, because you know what is really happening.
