movie talk

"Namjoon hyung?" Jimin's voice broke the trance the said man was in. He glanced over to the direction, locking his phone.

"Hm?" He replied. The seven of them were at his house for a hangout; Seokjin and Jungkook were bickering like always, Taehyung and Hoseok were watching like always, and Yoongi was sleeping, like always.

Jimin shifted near him a little and then leaned a bit before showing him the screen of his phone. "I want you to watch this movie."

Blinking, Namjoon focused on the screen. Just One Glass*.

A smile covering his face, he chuckled. "I've already seen it."

His laughter stayed when he sees Jimin's surprised expression. "Really?" Then, when Jimin's face goes excited, he asks. "What were your thoughts?"

"I loved how it showed a controversial topic, seeing where we are and how it's dealt with. But, it was done interesting enough that people didn't know how to expect the ending, but they had to have a place in their heart for it. I think it was a good way to open minds."

Jimin nodded. "I agree. It was the first time I watched a movie of that category; I enjoyed it. I... I really think it showed an aspect of love people are afraid to see here and now. It's very interesting how the creator found a way to make it creep into people's heart who've never even thought of it before."

Namjoon agreed, a soft laugh leaving him. "Yes. People are afraid to change, I think that's the main problem. The way to make them understand is with hindsight - I don't think they could've accepted it if they'd known it ended that way from the beginning."

"Yeah," Jimin whispered knowingly, "People are afraid of change. But, it's funny," he said, voice light. "Without change, none of us would be here. They only like change when it's a biased subject of good." A breath, a soft voice following. "Only the few of us understand that bad change is good, too." His words were cryptic, something the common would misunderstand. But Namjoon understood.

"Right," Namjoon replied, his smile still present, eyeing Jimin from the side with admiration. Jimin earned Namjoon's respect, that's for sure. The boy was kind, which he'd already seen countless of times, but he really was understanding. He was another person on the same page as him; a soul in a body with a conscience, looking and adapting with the world as it goes, as it moves with them, as they move with it.

"Anyways, final words on the movie?" He asked, giggling a little.

Humming, Namjoon's reply was, "I liked it. The ending was hinted, and somehow unpredictable at the same time, but very fitting. It had a nice thematic mood to it, I really enjoyed it."

Jimin's response was glowing although his volume was normal. "That's good to hear..." He grinned widely. "I enjoyed it too. Made me think of many things," he added mysteriously. Then, he scooted back to where he was seated. He continued using his phone before quickly getting bored and joined the others' fun.

Namjoon's eyes were already back on his own phone screen, but his smile didn't leave. Analysing the littlest thing, it didn't take him even a second to lose the uncertainty of what this was about.

He had an idea as to why Jimin asked him the question. And he was pretty sure he was right.

Now, the wait.
