Anand stops the car at gate of Nirmal Jyoti Society... Naina gets down and roam around her misty eyes towards the lanes, streets, the road side shops, telephone booth from where Sameer used to call her, the balcony pipe which was always be Sameer's favorite way to meet her in mid night... all the memories came rushing back to her.. reminiscing that how much she had missed this place...

Preeti keeping her hand on her shoulder wiped her tears, "rona bandh kar, chal andar chalein... apne ghar... kitna miss kiya na yeh sab... ek sapne jaisa lag raha hai aaj, laga tha kabhi vaapas nahin aa payenge..." Naina too wiped a lone tear drop from her eyes laughing, "mujhe kah rahi hai aur khud ro rahi hai..." they both smiled and move ahead...

Bela went upstairs hurriedly when Anand came and hold both of her daughters from shoulders, "aaj kitne din baad mere ghar ki raunak vaapas aayi hai... bohot miss kiya tum donon ko...." they both smiled and went inside the society with Deepika and Anand...

The moment they reached at door, Chachiji shouts loudly from inside, "abhi ruko donon... mein aayi ek minute mein.." they all stopped at their itself when Bela came with aarti thali ... she lit diya and does their aarti and put teeka on their forehead... she put a kala teeka on back of their ears and said happily, "ab aao donon andar... bhagwan sabki buri nazar se bachaye meri bachchiyon ko..." looking it amazingly, Deepika said, "aur mere..." all laughed and Chachiji too put teeka on her forehead, "aap bhi aaj se hamari hi beti ho..." Anand too caressed her head lovingly...

Naina Preeti stepped inside and saw the house with misty eyes recalling their old days when they used to do lots of fun together whole day... in turn getting punishment and scolding from Bela... they had a group hug..

Anand said with heavy voice, "apne bachchon ke mushkil waqt mein unka saath nahin de paaya, iska afsos zindagi bhar rahega mujhe... par mera wada hai ki ab tumhari aankhon mein kabhi aansun nahin aane dunga... sach bohot yaad aati thi tum donon ki, yahaan tak ki uss din ke baad toh Pooja aur Arjun bhi nahin aaye kabhi kyunki yeh ghar unhein tum donon ki yaad dilata tha... sab ek dusre se haalaton ki wajah se bichhad gaye the...aur hum yahaan akele ghut ghut kar jee rahe the.... kaun kisko dilaasa deta, kuchh samajh nahin aa raha tha..."

Naina Preeti wiped his tears and hugged him tightly when Deepika looking them all confusingly, "Bhabhi jab koi guest aata hai toh kya aise rote hai... aap log toh apne ghar aayi ho toh ro kyun rahi ho..." they all laughed on her silly talks when Preeti took her also in their group hug and said, "bas hum bohot dinon baad apne Mummy Papa se mile hai na toh isiliye... ab toh aap bhi hamari family ho na..." they all smiled when Bela said, "tum log baitho, aaj tum sab ke pasand ka khaana banaungi... kitne dinon se kuchh man hi nahin karta tha banane ka..."

Anand laughed making fun of Bela, "aur kya... jab se tum donon gayi ho Bela ne tumhari yaad mein sirf tinde khilaye hai mujhe... chalo aaj isi bahane kuchh achchha khaane ko toh milega..." Preeti too said loudly laughing, "kasam se Mummy, aaj toh aapke haath ke tinde bhi paneer jaisa swad denge..." they all smiled teasing each other... Anand caressing their heads praised his little ones', "vaise mujhe garv hai apne betiyon par ki unhone itni mushkile sahi par kabhi haar nahin maani.. donon ne apna apna kartavya achchhe se nibhaya... hamari parvarish ko sharminda nahin kiya..."

Naina left inside with Deepika to get freshen up and Preeti went in kitchen to have water with Bela..... Anand took their luggage to keep it in their room when Taiji barged into their house without knocking, "O Bai... Bela... Anand Babu kahaan chale gaye the tum donon bina bataye... humein toh chinta hi ho rahi thi... ab ghar ke badon ki itni bhi izzat nahin ki kahin jaane se pehle ijajat lo... kam se kam bata kar toh jaate... maine toh kal se chinta ke maare khaana tak nahin khaaya dhang se.... chal Bela jara mere liye chai toh bana de jaldi se, sar dard ho raha tha chinta ke maare..." suddenly her eyes fall on Preeti who was coming out from kitchen with Bela..

Taiji went to her, "O Bai... bade ghar ki bahu aaj hum gareebon ke ghar kaise aa gayi... ab yaad aayi hai tujhe apne gareeb Maa Baap ki... kahaan thi jab se shaadi huyi, ek baar bhi palat kar nahin dekha tu ne toh... suna hai bade dhaath hai tere toh... mehlon jaisa ghar hai, naukar chakar, gaadi... ab humein kyun yaad karegi tu...." she said glaring her from tip to toe eyeing all jewellery Preeti wearing...

Preeti replied harshly, "galat kaha Taiji aapne, kisi ladki ke Maa Baap kabhi gareeb nahin hote... gareeb toh voh log hote hai jo ladkiyon ko bojh samajhte hai... mere Mummy papa ke paas toh unke bachchon ke pyaar ki voh anmol daulat hai jo unhein duniya mein sabse ameer banati hai... par chhodiye yeh sab baatein aap nahin samjhengi kabhi... uske liye saaf man jo chahiye... aapke liye toh ladkiyaan shuru se hi bojh hai..." she glared back Taiji recalling what all she did on her marriage day to keep her away from Naina...

Taiji taunts her back, "O bai... bade ghar ki kyaa ho gayi isaki toh badi jubaan chalane lagi hai... pehle hi itni munh fat thi ab toh lagta hai bade ghar ka rob hum par hi jhadegi.... Sasural mein naak katwa..." she stops in between shockingly seeing Naina also coming out from room... Naina too stops at door itself seeing Taiji, recalling the last time she met with her on Preeti's marriage day, her taunts, her cursing, she shivered badly seeing her anger face towards her... tears rolled out on her cheeks, when Preeti rushed to her and hold her hand firmly to support her...

Taiji came forward to her and said, "O Bai... ab yeh kalmunhi kahaan se aa gayi yahaan par... phir se hamari khushiyon par grahan lagaane ke liye... isse kisne iss ghar mein ghusane diya... lagta hai un logon ne dhakke dekar nikaal hi diya isse aur yeh munh utha kar yahaan aa gayi... pehle unka ghar barbaad kiya ab hamara karne aa gayi...." saying this she came ahead to hold her hand to drag and throw her out from the house when Anand stops her in between jerking her hand harshly...

He shouts on her, "bas kijiye Bhabhiji.. bohot sun liya maine aur bohot samman de diya aapko, jiske shayad ab aap laayak bhi nahin hai... aur khabardaar jo meri beti ko haath bhi lagaya toh kisi ne, bhool jaaunga mein ki hamara kyaa rishta hai... uss din majboor tha par aaj nahin hun... aaj kisi ki himmat nahin ki meri beti ki taraf aankh utha kar bhi dekhe..." he said giving a deadly glare to her....

Bela too came and took Naina in side hug, "yeh iss ghar ki beti hai, par aap yeh sab nahin samjhengi... Iski achchhai dekh kar toh isake sasural walon ne bhi isse dil se apna kar pyaar aur samman diya hai ... 15 din baad iski shaadi hai Sameer se, toh aap isase dur rahiye aur isse jee bhar ke apni khushiyaan manane dijiye... mein nahin chahti ki aapki wajah se isaka dil dukhe ya iski khishiyon mein koi kami aaye... maine isake sasural walon se waada kiya hai ki isse koi dukh nahin hone dungi... mujhe majboor mat kijiye ki mein bade chhote ka lihaaj bhi bhool jaaun..."

Taiji got shocked listening, "O Bai... abhi bhi iss manhoos ka saaya uss ameerzade par hai... itna sab huaa par usake dimmag se pyaar ka bhoot nahin utara... dekha nahin isake kadam padte hi usaki jaan par ban aayi thi... phir bhi isey apne ghar ki maharani bana raha hai... aur usaki Maa, usane toh isse dhakke maar ke nikaal rahi thi... uska kya..." Naina weeping slowly recalling all their taunts and behavior when everyone accused her for Sameer's accident, calling her manhoos...

Anand said, "voh sab iss rishtey se khush hai kyunki unko apni galti ka ehsaas ho chuka hai... voh khud hamare ghar aayi thi maafi maangane... achchha hoga ab aap bhi samajh jaaiye aur jo khushiyaan iss ghar mein aane wali hai unko apnaiye.. na ki aisi kadwi baatein karke bachchon ka dil dukhi kijiye... pehle hi bohot kuchh sah chuke hai yeh bachche ab aur nahin..."

Taiji in her usual taunting way said evilly, "Anand babu mat bhuliye yeh ladki kitni manhoos hai... paida hote hi apni Maa ko kha gayi, dekha tha na Preeti ki shaadi kaise tootate huye bachi thi iski wajah se... aur shaadi se pehle hi uss ladke ki jaan par ban aayi thi.... maut ke munh mein chala gaya tha woh sirf iske manhoos saaye ki wajah se... unka toh ghar hi ujaad diya tha isne... yeh kya kisi ko khushi degi jiska saaya hi manhoos ho... dekhna isse bhi kabhi koi khushi naseeb nahin hogi... yeh bhi..."

Bela shouts loudly to stop her in between, "bas kijiye Bhabhiji.. bohot sun liya aur samjha liya aapko... par aapki aankhon par toh na jaane kaun si nafarat ki patti bandhi huyi hai..." she turned to Anand and said rudely, "Preeti ke papa, kah dijiye inse ki chali jaaye yahaan se agar inse hamare ghar ki Khushi nahin dekhi jaati toh... kisi ko haq nahin hai meri beti ko badduaa dene ki jab usaki zindagi mein khushiyaan vaapas aa rahi ho... ab mujhe ek shabd bhi nahin sunana inke munh se apni beti ke khilaaf..."

Taiji got shocked listening this from Bela, who always obeyed her all orders without confronting, "dekha iss ladki ka saaya padte hi Bela bhi bade chhoto ka lihaaz bhool gayi hai... bas yahi din dekhna rah gaya tha... iss ghar mein toh badon ka koi lihaaz hi nahin bacha hai..." she left cursing the poor soul murmuring, "mein bhi dekhti hun ki kaise yeh log iss manhoos ki shaadi karte hai uss ameerzaade se... ek ladki paise walon mein chali gayi toh itni jubaan khul gayi hai, dusri chali gayi toh hamare sar par naachenge yeh toh...." she looked them evilly and left...

Pacing from here and there impatiently she informed Tauji all happening and Maheshwari's getting agree for the marriage again in next two week, "kitna socha tha ki donon ladkiyon se chhutkara mil gaya ek hi baari mein... ab toh jo kuchh bhi hai Anand babu ka sab hamre Pralay babu ko milta par nahin aa gayi munh utha kar vaapas donon... ab dekhna kaise un ameeron ki farmayish poori karne ke liye Anand babu apni saari jama punji laga denge... kuchh nahin bachega hamare Pralay ke liye..." Tauji too said evilly, "par mein kahe deta hun, iss baar mein kuchh nahin dene wala... sagaai mein bhi kitna nuksaan huya hai mera ab aur nahin... pichhli baar Phulla bua ne kitna kharcha karwaya par kuchh haath nahin laga aur aaj bhi dekho, voh Somani aakar Anand se maafi maang kar unhein le gaye, humein puchha tak nahin..."

Bela and Preeti tried hard to console Naina, but all previous happenings make her weak and shuddered to the core... she blabbered continuously looking at Preeti, "agar iss baar bhi kuchh ho gaya toh...Preeti.. Sameer... agar Sameer ko kuchh ho gaya toh ... kahin meri wajah se hi toh nahin...voh sab uske saath... sab meri galti... meri hi wajah se Sameer... Sameer ki jaan ...."

Chachi tried to keep her calm, "nahin beta.. teri wajah se kuchh nahin hua tha... tu.. tu apne aap ko dosh mat de... inki toh jubaan bhi inke dil ki tarah hi kaali hai.... balki teri wajah se toh voh vaapas aaya hai... tumhare pyaar ne usse nayi zindagi di hai...." Naina didn't listen anything and keep blabbering, getting panick... soon darkness eloped her... she faints and about to slipped on floor when Anand hold her tightly, he lift her in his arms and take her to their room as Deepika was playing in Naina's room with her doll...

Preeti brings water and sprinkle on her face... in few minutes, she stir and open her eyes... Anand sits beside her to make her understand, "beta tu toh itni bahadur hai phir kyun aise logon ki baaton ko apne dil se lagati hai... tujhe pata hai na unka swabhav hi kadwa hai, voh kabhi kisi ke dil ki baat nahin samajh sakti..." he caressed her hair with tears in his eyes, "galti meri hi hai... mujhe tujhe yahaan laana hi nahin chahiye tha... iss ghar ne hamesha tujhe dukh hi diya hai... mujhe laga itne waqt mein yeh thoda sudhar gayi hongi par tere aate hi inhone tera dil dukkha diya....."

Anand cried seeing her in this condition, when Naina wiped his tears, "Chachaji yeh mera ghar hai aur aap mere liye mere Papa se bhi badkar hai... mein yahaan nahin aaungi toh kahaan jaaungi... kabhi kisi beti ke liye uske Maa Baap ka ghar usse dukh de sakta hai kya... shaayad mein hi achchhi beti nahin ban paayi aur aapko hamesha dukh diya hai..."

Bela came to her, "khabardaar jo aaj ke baad yeh sab kaha toh... ek Maa ho kar bhi mein tujhe bhabhiji ke taano ne nahin bacha paayi, ismein galti meri hi hai na... par ab bohot hua..." she turned to Anand, "suniye ji... maine ek faisla liya hai... jab tak Naina ki shaadi nahin ho jaati tab tak Bhabhiji iss ghar mein nahin aayengi.... aur agar ho sake toh hum iski shaadi kahin baahar jaakar kar lenge... yahaan toh unka saaya bhi nahin padne dungi mein iss par..." she said firmly to keep Naina away from her evil eyes...

Naina tried to convince her, "Chachiji nahin, hum aisa nahin kar sakte... mujhe pata hai aap donon ka sapna tha mujhe aur Preeti ko isi ghar se vida karne ka... Preeti ke samay nahin ho paya par meri shaadi hum kahin baahar se kaise kar sakte hai... mein theek hun... aap meri chinta mat kijiye..."

Preeti who was listening all this quietly promising herself, "par itna wada hai ki teri shaadi ki ek bhi rasam mein Taiji ko toh nahin aane dungi... ab chaahe mujhe iske liye kuchh bhi karna pade... Sameer aur Rohan toh chhodenge nahin unko... dekh lena kya haal karenge unka..."

Naina seeing her expression, understood what's going on in her mind, she hold her hand, "nahin Preeti tu Sameer ko kuchh nahin batayegi... tujhe meri kasam... tu jaanti hai na uska gussa.... mein nahin chahti ki voh shaadi ki khushiyaan chhod kar iss baat ki tension lekar baithe... hum sab hai na ek saath... aur abhi toh voh theek hua hai, uske liye itna stress theek nahin hai..." Preeti agreed unwillingly but decided to surely teach her a lesson... Naina knowing if Sameer got to know all this he will not allowed her to stay here even for a minute, which can hurt her Chachaji more....

Seeing Naina not well, Chachaji give her medicine and asked her to take rest... with medicine effect she soon drifted into deep sleep... Preeti unpacked both their bags and kept it in almirah thinking all possible ideas to keep Taiji away from Naina, atleast till her marriage....

Deepika came to Preeti and asked for Naina, when Preeti make some excuse and spent some time with her to divert her mind saying, "voh aapki Naina Bhabhi bohot thak gayi thi na toh aaraam kar rahi hai... jab uthengi toh aap unke saath khel lena..." she played a movie on VCR for her to divert her mind...

They were watching movie when phone bell rings.. Preeti picked up when Sameer was on other side... Preeti trying to hide her tension, tease him, "kyun... abhi se Naina ke bina dil nahin lag raha... Sameer tum 15 din kaise kaatoge..."

Sameer feeling shy on her teasing said, "yaar ab tum mat shuru ho jaao... ghar par sab vaise hi saara din pareshaan karte hai.. madad toh koi karta nahin bas majaak karwa lo..."

Preeti laughed, when Sameer said, "achchha suno, please Naina hai kya... usase baat karwa do... suna tha ladkiyaan maayke jaakar pati ko bhool jaati hai, yeh toh boy-friend ko hi bhool gayi.. kab se intzaar kar raha tha phone ka..." Preeti got nervous as how to reveal what all happened with her the moment she stepped at home...

She said, "voh Sameer, Naina bohot thak gayi thi toh so gayi hai... thodi der mein baat karwa dun..." Sameer gets tensed asked, "thak gayi.... Preeti Naina theek toh hai na... mujhe kuchh theek nahin lag raha... tum bataaon mein abhi vahaan aata hun... kuchh hua hai kya..."

Preeti assured him, "nahin Sameer... sach kah rahi hun... aisa kuchh nahin hai... tum please chinta mat karo... mein abhi thodi der mein baat karwati hun tumhari..." then only she heard her voice from back, "Preeti... kiska phone hai..."

Preeti turned and saw Naina standing there... getting relieved she immediately give her the cordless saying, "le ab tu hi baat kar... achchha hua aa gayi varna Sameer se toh intzaar hi nahin ho raha tha... kitna bechain hai baat karne ke liye... maine kaha so rahi hai toh usey their chinta ho rahi thi..."

Naina took the cordless in her hand and went to her room, "Hello.." Sameer smiled listening her melodious voice, "aaj kitne dinon baad hum aise phone par baat kar rahe hai na... bilkul pehle ki tarah... lagta hai college ka time vaapas aa gaya... mein yahaan tum vahaan...." he said reminiscing their old days when they used to talk for whole night...

She smiled, "hmmm... tum kaise ho... khaana khaaya..." he sulked, "kya yaar Naina, ek toh tum chali gayi aur ab puchh rahi ho kaisa hun... pata hai na kaisa ho sakta hun tumhare bina... please kya mein abhi vahaan aa jaaun.. bohot yaad aa rahi hai tumhare.." she laughed, "budhhu... yaad ka kya matlab... abhi thodi der pehle hi toh aayi hun vahaan se..."

He smiled, "tumhare bina ek pal mushkil hai aur tum kehti ho thodi der... par koi nahin, agar tum vahaan khush ho toh mein tumhare liye yeh bhi sah lunga... bas ek baar shaadi ho jaane do, phir koi maayke ka chakkar nahin hoga samjhi..." she nodded her head smilingly, "ji ... jo hokum sir.." they talked for some more time happily when Bela called her for lunch... they bid bye to each other and went outside... Sameer too gets relaxed after talking to her, "mein aise hi bechain ho raha tha... voh theek hai... par haaye yeh 15 din kaise katenge...."

Whole day went well after that, chatting and discussing on marriage preparation when in evening, Swati and Priya came to meet Naina Preeti... all four spend some fun time together with Deepika too after long time...

Nanu called Sameer & Rohan in their room... Sameer, "Nanu aapne bulaya humein..." Nanu looked at him and said, "haan beta ... chal jara shaadi ki taiyari mein hamari help kar..." he assigned few jobs to each and asked them to starts making list, occupying whole evening but inside Sameer was again feeling very restless and missing her so much... they completed all their listed work till night and getting tired retiring to their room to sleep when Vivek called, "aur haan suno... agar aaj koi badmaashi karne ki sochi bhi na toh dekhna kya karta hun... khabardaar jo raat ko apne kamre se baahar bhi nikale toh... mein darwaje par taala laga dunga varna kal se..." they both lowered their head like obedient kids and nodded in yes and left to their room...

Nanu laughed and said, "kya lagta hai jaayega ki nahin..." Vivek thinks and said, "shart laga sakta hun... pura majnu material hai hamara beta, jaayega jaroor..." they both laughed loudly and Vivek too left to sleep...

In their room, Sameer frowned, "kya bakwaas hai.. ek toh usse vahaan bhej diya aur humein yahaan bandi bana diya hai... hadd hoti hai yaar tanashaahi ki bhi..."

Rohan too protest, "haan yaar... kitna galat hai... tera theek hai par meri toh biwi hai voh... bakayda shaadi ki hai maine voh bhi in sabke saamne... itna atyachaar karna kya sahi hai hum masoomo par..." they both keep pacing in room getting frustrated...

To get some peace, seeing no other option Sameer dialed her number which she picked in one ring... together, "Hello"... they both smiled.. he asked, "soyi nahin abhi tak.."

Naina said smilingly, "tumne phone hi nahin kiya toh kaise neend aati.. tumhein pata hai na tumse baat kiye bina mujhe neend nahin aati... aur ab toh roj tumhare saath raat mein baith kar coffee peene ki bhi aadat ho gayi hai..." to tease her he said, "achchha ji toh jab mein yahaan nahin tha tab kaise neend aati thi aapko..." recalling their painful days, her eyes filled with tears, she said slowly, "tab neend aati hi kahaan thi... sirf tumhari yaad aati thi..."

He realized his blunder of hurting her said instantly, "sorry ... sorry Naina, mera voh matlab nahin tha... mein sirf majaak kar raha tha... please tum rona mat... tum sach kehti ho mein buddhu hi hun, kuchh bhi bolta hun..."

Naina lost in thoughts of her painful nights which she spent missing him, then what all Taiji told her today made her shattered again.. she wiped her tears and said slowly, "Sameer... mujhe neend aa rahi hai... please kal baat karein..." he feels bad hurting her but remains quiet, "theek hai tum rest karo, hum kal baat karte hai..." they both said "Good night" and disconnect the call...

Seeing Preeti sleeping with Deepika, she went out in balcony and stands there looking at half-moon brightened in sky...
