Nanu took the cordless when someone from other side asked, "Good Morning, kya mein Mr Jai Prakash Maheshwari ji se baat kar sakta hun..." Nanu replied, "jee haan, mein bol raha hun... par aap kaun... maine pehchana nahin.." person said, "dekhiye mein Navjeevan Multi Specialty Hospital se Dr Mittal bol raha hun... kya aap abhi isi waqt yahaan aa sakte hai..."

Nanu asked worriedly, "Hospital se... par achanak kis liye... koi bimaar hai kya..." Listening hospital name trio turned and stood there only getting worried.... they went back and stands close to him...

Dr Mittal, "Ji voh darasal hamare yahaan ek patient admit hai, accident ka case tha, aur voh kai mahino se coma mein tha... usse aaj hi hosh aaya hai aur usane sirf aapka naam liya.... abhi toh voh behosh hai par maine aapka naam sunkar directory mein se number lekar aapko phone kiya hai... dekhiye shayad koi aapka apna ho toh..."

Nanu looked at trio and tears came rolling into his cheeks with a slight ray of hope... he said, "mein abhi aaya..." he disconnects the call when Naina came to him with Munna Pandit, "Nanu aap ro kyun rahe ho, aur kiska phone tha.. please bataiye, mujhe darr lag raha hai..."

He said excitedly, "tum log bas chalo mere saath, kuchh mat puchho..... lagta hai bhagwan ko shayad daya aa gayi ho hum par... aaj itne din baad ek ummid ki kiran nazar aayi hai..." he rushed to his car followed by them all and ask driver to drive as fast as possible...they all keep looking him surprisingly but didn't asked anything....

They reached hospital and he enquired about Dr Mittal at reception... hurriedly he reached to his cabin and greet him, "Dr Mittal... mein Jai Prakash Maheshwari... voh abhi aapne phone kiya tha na... kahaan hai voh patient, mujhe dekhna hai usse..." he greeted him back as Nanu is a well-known personality... seeing there excitement and eagerness, without any further discussion he took them all into a ward where a person was lying unconscious.... all entered when Naina stops at the door itself... Nanu turned and called her, "chal beta... ruk kyun gayi..." she looked at him and smiled with tears, "Nanu... Nanu mujhe pata hai ki andar Sameer hi hai... mein bhool kaise gayi... usne kaha tha mujhse aaj subah ki voh aa raha hai, par mujhe laga hamesha ki tarah majaak kar raha hai..."

Nanu caressed her hair lovingly, "mujhe vishwas hai tere yakeen par... chal aa..." Munna took her in his side hug saying, "tu darr mat... aaj teri har dua qubool ho gayi hai... chal jaldi..." and they all went inside while praying inside their hearts, they went close to him with trembled feet, taking slow steps... all wishing the same thing in their hearts... they all got shocked seeing the patient lying there... Their Sameer...

Nanu fumbled when Munna hold him on time to save... he looked at Naina and pull her in his tight embrace... "dekha beta... aaj tera vishwas jeet gaya... le aa gaya tera Sameer tere paas vaapas..." all burst into tears with a wide smile on their faces... Nanu went near to him and touched his hand, his face... he bent and softly kissed on his forehead and called, "Sameer..." whereas Naina & Munna Pandit came to other side of the bed and keep looking him... their happiness was seen on their faces.... none of them said even a single word till now but words were not even needed to feel the moment...

Suddenly feeling dizzy, Naina gets faint and slipped on the floor... Munna Pandit hold her, trying to wake her but no response... Doctor asked them to bring her in other ward.... he examined and informed that nothing much to worry... since she is very weak and fainted due to excess mental stress... Doctor suggest her to take rest for some time until gets conscious and later will discharge her....

Pandit stays with Naina whereas Munna stays back with Sameer when Nanu went to discuss with Doctor.... Nanu enquired, "Doctor aapko Sameer kaise mila... humne toh pichhle teen mahine mein iss shahar ke har hospital mein usse dhundha hai... Police bhi kab se iska pata lagane ki koshish kar rahi thi... par kahin bhi iska koi pata nahin chal raha tha..."

Doctor said, "dekhiye Mr Maheshwari, humein jyaada toh nahin pata par yeh case hamare hospital mein sirf ek mahine pehle hi aaya tha... city se kuchh do ghante ki duri par ek shahar hai Mahudha, recently hamare hospital ne vahaan ke ek local hospital ko take over kiya tha, toh bas vahaan ke kuchh critical patient yahaan shift kiye gaye the, jinhein jyaada medical facilities ki jarurat thi... yeh un mein se hi ek hai... maine case study kiya hai... isse vahaan ke kisi local resident ne admit karwaya tha hospital mein jakhmi haalat mein kareeban teen mahine pehle, par koi police case na ho, isiliye apna naam bataye bina hi bhaag gaya... us waqt iski haalat kaafi naajuk thi, sar par gehri chot thi, kaafi khoon bhi bah chuka tha... operation se jaan toh bach gayi par yeh coma mein chala gaya... shayad chhota shahar tha toh kisi ne police ko inform bhi nahin kiya... aaj subah hi achanak isne respond kiya aur aankhen kholi... jab humne puchha ki yeh kaun hai toh isne sirf aapka naam liya aur phir behosh ho gaya... ab vaise yeh khatre se baahar hai, par saare test karne honge aur isake hosh mein aane par hi sab theek se pata chalega... isilye humne aapko phone kiya tha..."

Nanu thanks him to taking care of his little one, then only Munna came running into the cabin, panting heavily, "Nanaji jaldi chaliye, Sameer ko hosh aa gaya hai... usane mujhse baat ki, mujhe... mujhe Munna kah kar bulaya... mera dost vaapas aa gaya Nanaji...." they rushed to his room where he was sitting there resting his head on bedrest, feeling weak from inside but smiled instantly seeing Nanu....

Nanu too smiled widely and hugged him tightly... he caressed his head and plant a soft kiss on his forehead, "kahaan chala gaya tha tu mujhe chhod kar... ek baar bhi nahin socha mera kya hoga... kitna rulaya tu ne mujhe... ab kahin nahin jaane dunga mein tujhe..."

Sameer looked him concernedly and asked, "Nanu aap theek ho na... mujhe toh aapki chinta ho rahi thi... aapko lagi toh nahin kahin..." Nanu feels his behavior strange asked, "beta mujhe kya hoga... dekh tere saamne theek toh khada hun..." Sameer nodded his head and again hug him... Doctor asked all to leave them alone as he need to examine him and do some tests before coming to any conclusion... Nanu wiped his tear and left the room with Munna, waiting outside... he asked for Naina when Munna informed that she is still unconscious but stable now...

After some time, doctor came and asked him to meet in cabin... he instructs, "patient ko abhi dawai di hai, toh voh so gaya hai... thodi der mein hosh aa jayega... isaki report ek ghante mein aa jayengi, aap aakar miliyega mujhse..."

After an hour, Nanu went to meet doctor when he said, "Maheshwari ji, kya Sameer pehle kabhi kisi hill station par gaya hai, matlab kuchh saalon pehle..." he nodded in yes, "haan doctor, infact paanch saal pehle toh yeh Mussoorie ke hostel mein rehta tha... vahin padta tha..."

Doctor gets into deep thought... "dekhiye mein aapse jhuth nahin kahunga par ... vaise toh Sameer ab theek hai, bas thodi si weakness hai but shayad sar par gehri chot lagane ki wajah se uski kuchh saalon ki yaaddasht chali gayi hai... usake mutabik usaka accident shaayad Mussoorie se vaapas aate waqt aapke saath car mein huya hai... isiliye usey aapki chinta ho rahi thi ki aap theek ho ya nahin... yahi usaki aakhiri yaad hai... usake baad ka usse kuchh yaad nahin hai... yaad karke bataiye kya kabhi aisa hua hai ki aap donon ek saath ho, kisi pahadi ilaake par aur accident jaisa kuchh hua ho... usake hisaab se iss accident ke waqt aap uske saath the..."

Nanu recall and said, "haan jab aakhiri baar mein usse lene gaya tha toh vaapas aate waqt hamari car ka accident hote hote bacha tha... matlab sahi mauke par driver ne brake maar diya the varna hamari car pahadi se neeche gir jaati... par voh toh ek mamuli si baat thi jise hum donon bhool gaye the... pahado par toh aisa hota hi rehta hai... humne dobara kabhi iss baat ka jikra bhi nahin kiya..."

Doctor said, "dekhiye jaise aapne bataya ki iss baar iska accident kaise hua kisi ko nahin pata aur car aapko khaayi mein mili thi toh lagta hai chot ki wajah se isaki kuchh waqt ki yaadein mit gayi hai aur bilkul ussi tarah se huyi ek pehle ki ghatna iski aakhiri yaad ban gayi hai... medically isse partial memory loss kehte hai..."

Nanu got stunned with the news.. though he was relieved seeing him alive in front of him but this news shook him from core.... he asked concernedly, "voh theek toh ho jayega na... matlab kitne din lagenge..."

Doctor said, "dekhiye pehli baat toh ki aise cases mein hum koi pakki taur se wada nahin kar sakte... ho sakta hai kuchh din, ya kuchh saal ya phir shayda saari zindagi isse apane beete paanch saal yaad hi na aaye.." he paused for a minute, taking a deep breathe said, "dekhiye ek baat aur.. yeh abhi mentally and physically bohot weak hai... jara sa bhi stress isse phir se coma mein bhej sakta hai... toh dhyaan rahe ki isako kuchh bhi jabardasti yaad dilane ki koshish mat kijiyega.... balki mein toh kahunga ki isake saamne se purani saari cheeze hata dijiyega jo ise iska past yaad dilaye... aap samajh rahe hai na meri baat... abhi sabse jyaada jaruri hai ki yeh in halaton se recover kare aur stable ho jaaye...."

Nanu listened quietly and asked, "hum kab tak ghar le ja sakte hai isko..." Doctor assured that all other test reports are fine now and he can get discharge by tomorrow itself.... Nanu leave the cabin thinking about the storm ahead waiting to destroy life of their loved ones once again.....

He came to Sameer ward and saw him in deep sleep.. he caressed his hair and asked Munna to be with him till he checked Naina in other ward... he went and saw her also unconscious when Pandit said happily in excitement, "Nanu aap ghabrao mat.... ab hamara bhai aa gaya hai na, dekhna Bhabhi ko kaise jhat se theek kar dega... do din mein hansti khelti nazar aayegi... dekha hum sab ki dua qubool ho gayi ya yun kahiye bhagwan bhi isake dard ke aage tik nahin paaye... bhej hi diya vaapas iska Sameer iske paas.." he hugged him in excitement whereas Nanu was completely lost... how will I face her now?

He sits next to her when she gets conscious and smiled seeing him, "Nanu Sameer.. kahaan hai voh... usse hosh aaya.." he asked her to rest, "tu aaraam kar... voh bhi theek hai... abhi neend ka injection diya hai toh so raha hai... vaise doctor ne kaha hai ki kal tak discharge mil jayega... kal hum usse ghar le ja sakte hai..." she smiled and request Nanu to let her meet him once which he can't deny any more seeing her so restless...

Pandit support her to walk as she was still feeling weak and left her alone sitting next to Sameer in the ward... they all came out leaving two souls alone.... together after a long time...
