He keeps looking at her standing outside his cabin when his trance broke seeing peon going and talking with her... he realized peon asked her something which she denies politely and get busy again in her work after talking with him for few minutes.... he came back to his cabin and sits on his chair... he closed his eyes and saw some blurry images of a place, a table filled with books everywhere and a girl sitting with a boy and teaching her something... he tried hard to focus but images got more blurred and his attention broke with a knock on his cabin door....

Peon came inside and keep the coffee mug in front of him on which he asked, "Coffee... par maine toh nahin maangi thi..." he replied softly "Sir, voh Madam ne kaha ki aap lunch ke baad peete hai toh bas isiliye..." he was leaving the room when he stopped him, "suno... ek baat bataao... yahaan kya saara staff canteen mein hi lunch karta hai ya koi koi apne desk par bhi karta hai..."

Peon answered surprisingly on his weird question, "nahin, sir, yahaan ka rule hai sabko canteen mein hi khaana hota hai, bas bade maalik aur aapka hi cabin mein khaana aata hai..."

Sameer asked, "matlab aapki madam rule follow nahin karti... maine dekha tha unhein apni seat par hi thi voh lunch time par..." when Peon replied looking down, "Sir, par unhone koi rule nahin toda... voh toh lunch ke liye gayi hi nahin... humne bohot baar ja kar bola unko par boli kaam bohot jyaada hai.. vaise bhi voh kabhi kabhi hi lunch karti hai... aur jyaadatar toh nahin hi karti poore din..."

Sameer got shocked again listening this and asked him to leave... he went near the glass partition of his cabin and shift the curtains slightly from where he can see her still busy in doing her work & Pandit was sitting next to her and chatting or can say disturbing her a lot... he felt restless and feeling hurt... he clutched his fists in anger as totally confused of his own feelings and reactions....

Her teary eyes keep realizing him his mistake of shouting on her without having any reason, "kisi ka itna dil dukhega toh koi khaana kaise khayega... vaise hi theek se khaana nahin khaati aur us par lagta hai aaj toh meri daant se hi pet bhar gaya hoga... aur mein uske haath se bana khaana maje se kha raha tha.. I really feel shame on myself.... mein bhi na bina soche samjhe kuchh bhi bol deta hun... aur us par madam baahar jaakar baith gayi hai... maafi bhi kaise maangu samajh nahin aa raha... kitna royi hai aaj meri wajah se.. kya karun bhagwan ji... kuchh toh idea dijiye..." he reprimands himself on his craziness...

Pandit came inside to show him some samples of invitation which is going to happen in a month time for the launch of their new production range... though he has left with no interest in anything but he keep trying to focus his attention on work to forget everything... 

Soon something clicked in his mind and he said, "Pandit kyun na aaj office mein mera pehla din celebrate kare sabke saath... ek chhoti si party karte hai... isi bahaane poore staff se mulaqat aur jaan pehchaan bhi ho jayegi... ab toh roj sabke saath hi kaam karna hai na...." Pandit who can never ever deny for party, agreed immediately and arrange for a snacks party....

In few minutes passed, peon starts placing small paper plates filled with Samosa, Dhokla & laddoo on each table... everyone starts enjoying the treat from there new boss ... he too came outside and meet with few staff personally to get mingle up with them but to his dismay, she was even not present there at that time....

His eyes keep searching her in each corner of office but she was nowhere... later he got to know from Munshiji, that she has gone for a round of factory to check on some samples with another staff... he came back to his cabin and gets more frustrated, "isko dhundhna toh jaise bhuse mein se sui nikalne barabar hai... har waqt gaayab rehti hai...." whole day spent like a jigsaw puzzle for him... he is getting more to more confuse whether to trust on her, on Nanu's decision or to the person who is instigating him against her...

In evening everyone starts leaving office ... by the time he came out, everyone has already left except only the few ones, when driver approach him and took his bag, he looked at her who was still busy in writing something on her notepad... didn't ever lift her face to look at him... he stood there for a moment and then left from there angrily... the moment he left she lift her face, saw him from back, going out from the glass door... her eyes brimmed with tears feeling alone ....

Na Jee Bhar Ke Dekha Na Kuch Baat Kee,

Badi Arzoo Thi Hum Ko Mulaaqat Kee....

She covered her face with her palms and tried to reduce her sobs when Pandit came and keep his hand on her shoulder... she wiped her tears and plastered a fake smile on her face, "please ab tu lecture mat dena.... mein bilkul theek hun.. tu ja Priya wait kar rahi hogi tera.. time se nahin gaya toh aaj khaana nahin degi tujhe..." she laughed slowly to make him smile, 

Pandit said getting concerned for her, "aur tu... tujhe kya yahin rehna hai raat bhar... chal tujhe ghar chhod deta hun... car toh Sameer le gaya shayad... usake saath hi chali jaati..." 

She laughed sarcastically, "achchha .. aur kya kehti ki Boss mujhe lift chahiye... dekha nahin kaise subah se har baat par daant raha hai..."

Pandit asked getting serious, "par tujhe nahin lagta Naina, apna Sameer kuchh ajeeb behave kar raha hai... dekh jab mere aur Munna ke saath hota hai toh lagta hai jaise apna purana yaar mil gaya ho, par tujhe dekhte hi kyaa ho jaata hai usse... ajeeb sa behave kyun karta hai... koi baat huyi hai kya tumhare beech, koi ladaai ya bahas..."

She too replied with a sad face, "Pandit, ladaai ya narazagi toh tab hogi jab kuchh baat hogi... jab se aaya hai ek baar bhi theek se dekhta bhi nahin meri taraf... jab baat karta hai toh gusse mein hi hota hai... mujhe bhi kuchh samajh nahin aa raha voh aisa kyun kar raha hai..."

She took a deep breath saying, "par shayad ho sakta hai ki itni medicines aur teen mahine coma mein rehne ke side effect ho... maine notice kiya hai ki abhi bhi kai baar uske sar mein kitna dard hota hai.... isi baat se shayad itna pareshaan hai.... Pandit tu hi soch na kitna ajeeb lagta hoga na apne chaaron taraf sab kuchh ajnabee sa, anjaana sa... hum toh chah kar bhi uska dard nahin baant pa rahe... usse kuchh bhi purana yaad nahin hai... voh kaisa mehsoos karta hoga, kitne dard mein hoga yeh hum soch bhi nahin sakte...  kitna akelapan lagta hoga na usey... 

tujhe maloom hai, Sameer hamesha se kehta tha ki usne apni zindagi se sabse khubsurat lamhe college life mein jiye hai, hum sab ke saath... ... tujhe toh pata hai ki hostel mein voh kitna dukhi rehta tha, phir Nanu usey yahaan hum sabke paas le aaye.... aur usse aaj vahi yaad nahin hai.... yaad hai toh sirf hostel ki kadwi yaadein.... usaki takleef hum sab se bohot jyaada hai aur humein uska saath dena hi hoga iss mushkil waqt mein ek sachche dost ki tarah..."

Pandit smiled on her, "tu aaj bhi kitna pyaar karti hai na Sameer se... sach kahun bohot lucky hai mera yaar...." said with an affection and respect for her....

She smiled back saying, "Pandit, jisne mujhe jeena sikhaya ho, khud se pyaar karna sikhaya ho usse nafaarat mein kaise kar sakti hun... mera pyaar itna swarthi nahin ki mushkil waqt mein Sameer ka saath chhod de... manati hun aaj uska behavior mere liye achchha nahin hai, par tu bhi jaanta hai ki agar voh apne hosh mein hota toh kya kabhi mere saath aisa karta... nahin na... toh phir mein kaise usse naraaz ho sakti hun... humne har haal mein ek dusre ka saath nibhane ka wada kiya tha toh samajh le aaj mere pyaar ki pariksha hai... Sameer har baar apna pyaar saabit karne mein safal huya hai, phir mein kaise aaj pichhe hat sakti hun... aaj usey meri aur apne doston ki pehle se bhi jyaada jarurat hai..."

Pandit smiled on seeing the positive side and confidence in her, "tu sahi kah rahi hai... hum jaante hai apne Sameer ko, uske dil ko... voh toh kabhi sapne mein bhi kisi ko dard nahin de sakta aur tu toh uski jaan hai... dekha tha aaj maine uski bechaini ko, jab tu cabin se baahar aa gayi thi... har baar uski nazar darwje par hi thi, jaise tu hi aayegi andar har baar... mujhe ummid hai jaldi hi usey apne pyaar ke ehsaas phir se ho jayega.... aur tab tak hum sab hai uske saath.... ek saaye ki tarah jo andhere mein dikhta toh nahin par saath hamesha rehta hai..."

After some more discussions with her, he too left leaving her alone in office... she keeps herself engrossed back in writing her pending article for next few hours... when she realized it's too late she got up from her desk but felt dizzy and sits back on her seat clutching her head tightly... everyone was left so she was alone in office... she felt darkness all around when peon came to her seeing her in this condition and offered her water... she took few sips, when he rushed back in canteen and get a plate of snacks served for all during evening break when she was not at her desk... he insist her to eat something which she does as didn't left with any energy in her... soon she finish her eating and left for home asking watchman to call an auto for her.....

Sameer reached back home when found Nanu sitting in hall, chatting with few of his friends .. after greeting them he left for his room to get freshen up... he came out when Ramdhari called him for dinner expecting her to be back at home, but she didn't came till now... he has no mood to eat anything after the chaos he has created whole day and make her cry but for Nanu's sake he sits with him...he keep talking to Nanu telling him about his whole day experience spend in factory... Nanu wish to ask him about Naina but seeing him bit lost and tensed leave the idea...

Nanu too give him suggestions and valuable ideas ... after dinner Sameer went upstairs on terrace to get some fresh air.... soon he realized a car stops outside their gate... a tall man came out and open the door from the other side... he got shocked seeing Naina coming out from the car... due to darkness & his back towards Sameer, he was not able to see the face of the man... Naina took a step ahead and fumbled, still feeling dizzy, when the man standing close to her hold her on time to save her... she stays for a second and after thanking him she opened the gate and came inside...

Sameer felt an extreme pain of betrayal, somehow he felt cheated and it hurts more... "par mujhe kyun bura lag raha hai, voh kisi ke saath bhi aaye jaaye, kahin bhi ghume, kisi ka bhi haath pakde, mujhe kya..." but his heart denied all excuses, "aise kaise koi aur usse chhu sakta hai... maana maine thoda daanta tha subah par iska matlab yeh toh nahin ki saara din mujhse dur rahe, baat bhi na kare... ek baar bhi mere cabin tak mein nahin aayi... jab bhi koi file puchhi, peon ke haath se bhej di... aur phir ek hi ghar mein rehte hai toh saath toh aa jaa hi sakte hai... itni raat ko kisi gair ke saath aana, koi dekhega toh kitna galat sochega... jara bhi apni parwah nahin hai... saara din aise kaam karti hai jaise poori factory ka kaam akele hi karegi... itna bada staff hai, vahaan toh kisi ke saath itna ghul mil kar baat karte nahin dekha, phir yeh kaun tha jiske saath itni raat ko aayi hai vaapas... " he feels concerned and but jealous about her...

His mind conquered his heart again, "achchha hai na... jald se jald isey sabse dur jo karna hai... suna nahin tha ki aise hi bholapan dikha kar Nanu ko bewkoof banaya hai isane..." but still his heart encounter all his thoughts...

He came down, standing near the stairs only, saw her going inside her room whereas Ramdhari was still standing at the dining table, with a filled plate ... before he asked, Ramdhari went to Nanu's room... soon Nanu came out with him and went inside her room with tray filled with dinner...

He peaked inside the room and saw she was crying bitterly keeping her head on Nanu's shoulder... Nanu was trying to calm her... soon her sobs gets down and Nanu feed her food with his own hands...

Sameer got more confused and some hazy flashes came in front of his eyes when a girl & boy feeding each other lovingly, chatting and their laughter... his head starts paining, he left for his room and take a pill from the bottle lying on the side table and gulp with water... soon he drift into deep sleep....

Few days went like same... his scolding to her for no reasons... his irritation, anger, his cranky mood... her best possible tries to avoid him... he always keeps her over-loaded with lots of work.... Munna Pandit trying hard to keep him relax and calm... Nanu fully unaware of all happening as Naina request Munshiji & Pandit to not to tell Sameer's ill behavior towards her to Nanu... at least he was relaxed that they are spending whole day together in office which might be turn out in a close bonding soon... but things were getting worst for both of them...

Naina tried best to keep herself busy in work and avoid going near to him as much as possible whereas from inside she gets more hurt and shattered ... there was no one with whom she can share her feelings, her pain... on the other side, Sameer tried best to be away from her but feels like a magnetic pull which keeps attracted him towards her... his eyes always keep searching her and failure attempts make him getting more anger on her....

Sameer POV

Naina... yeh ek naam jo mujhe chaaron taraf se ghere rehta hai... Nanu, Munna, Pandit, Munshi ji, har koi sirf usi ki baatein karta hai, har baat mein uska zikra hota hai... jaise sab ki zindagi usake aas paas hi ghumati ho... aur mein... hairan, pareshaan... jitna apnapan uski aankhon mein dikhta hai, utna hi dard bhi... kabhi kabhi toh darr lagta hai uski taraf dekhne se bhi ki kahin mein apne hosh na kho baithu... kitna mushkil hota hai jab khud ko rokta hun uske paas jaane se, usse gale lagane se...

Uski aankhen jaise pata nahin kitni kahaniyaan kehti hai jo mujhe samajh nahin aati... ek kashish hai un mein, ek khichav... jaane kya kehna chahti ho mujhse... lagta hai jaise meri zindagi basti ho un mein...

Voh itni anjaan hokar bhi kitni apni si lagti hai... lagta hai jaise uske paas jaaunga toh saare dard, saari takleefe ek pal mein hi khatam ho jayengi... jab voh aas paas hoti hai toh ek sukoon sa mehsoos hota hai jaise sirf uska hi intzaar ho mujhe... uss din apni friends ke saath kitni khush thi, ek alag hi chamak thi uske chehre par, meri toh nazar hi nahin hat rahi thi... kaash uski aankhon ki iss chamak ki wajah mein ban paata...

Jab bhi usse dard deta hun toh sau guna dard apne dil mein mehsoos hota hai... uski nam aankhen dil mein teer ki tarah chubhati hai mere... man karta hai aage bad kar uske aansun ponchh dun par mera guilt mujhe voh bhi karne nahin deta....
