Naina sitting on couch holding his photo, wedding lehenga and mangalsutra in hand thinking about the worst day of her life.... she recalled the day when her life changed drastically... not only hers but so many others......

Flashback

After wedding completes, Rohan Preeti took blessings from all and came to Naina to ask for Sameer... she was standing there holding her tears to avoid suspicious... Dadi was glaring to them & Mama Mamiji as all her plans got flopped and marriage happen deprived of any hindrances ....

Rohan asked worriedly, "Naina ab tak Sameer nahin aaya... ab toh shaadi bhi ho gayi.. mujhe chinta ho rahi hai usaki..." she too gets worried when Preeti hold her hand firmly, "Naina dekh teri aur Sameer ki baat maan kar humne shaadi toh chup chap kar li par ab jaane de Rohan ko.. voh Sameer ko dhundh kar le aayega kahin se bhi..." Preeti said getting panicked as till now he must be back as planned...

Naina too agreed getting worried about him as its now too late, "haan, ab toh mujhe bhi bohot darr lag raha hai... please Rohan tum jaao... voh pahadi wale mandir ke paas hi gaya hai.. un logon ne usse vahin bulaya tha, par please kisi ko kuchh pata mat lagane dena varna Sameer ki saari koshishen bekaar ho jayegi... voh nahin chahta ki kisi ko bhi pata chale.. aur ab toh shaadi bhi ho gayi hai..." Preeti said, "haan tum jaao, hum yahaan sab sambhal lenge kisi bhi tarah se..."

Rohan nodded in yes and about to leave when Inspector came and asked, "mujhe Maheshwariji se milna hai... please unhein bula dijiye.." all turned to look him shockingly when Nanu came forward, "haan bataiye, mein hi hun Jai Prakash Maheshwari.. aapko kya kaam hai mujhse...." he looked all around seeing all decorations and guests, he said slowly hesitantly, "ji voh confirm karna tha ki car No.. XXXX kyaa aapki hai..."

Nanu asked suspiciously, "aap kyun puchh rahe hai... voh car mere bete ki hai... Sameer ki..." the Inspector got bit nervous, "ji voh... darasal abhi thodi der pehle pahadi wale mandir ke paas iss car ka bohot bura accident huya hai... car neeche khaai mein gir gayi hai... kuchh raah chalte logon ne number note karke humein inform kiya toh humne jaakar shinakht ki... pata chala yeh number Maheshwari Industries ke naam par register hai..."

Nanu got shocked and stumbled when Vivek hold him tightly, he turned to Inspector, "uss car mein toh shayad Sameer abhi kuchh der pehle baahar gaya tha..." he turned his face to Naina, who was standing their numb... tears keep rolling down from her eyes... suddenly her head spin and she felt darkness enveloping her and before she could do anything she had fainted...

Rohan in due time hold her tightly in his arms safely... Preeti shouts loudly to get water... Bela came forward with a glass of water and sprinkle on her face, whereas Anand sensing the dreadful news coming towards them trembled and sits on the ground itself...

Arjun hold him tightly from his shoulder to console him.... in few minutes, she opened her eyes slowly and looked around... she tried to stand back with holding Rohan & Preeti's support.... She saw everyone was crying bitterly... Nanu was sitting on a chair whereas Vivek was standing there holding him..

Anand was sitting on ground shattered... Vishakha was crying hard consoling by Prabha... she looked at Rohan who was also crying bitterly, "kya... kya .. hua... aise sab.." Preeti hugged her tightly controlling her own cries, "Naina... hum hai tere saath... tu bilkul mat ghabrana... kuchh nahin hua... sab theek ho jayega... Sameer jarur vaapas aayega... voh tujhe aur hum sabko chhod kar kahin nahin ja sakta.... hum jaante hai usko..." she keeps consoling her whereas Naina was looking all with bewildered eyes....

Soon Taiji came and pulled Preeti apart from Naina jerking her harshly resulted her on the ground... Shefali and Arjun came running to hold her and helped her to stand back holding her from shoulder... Taiji shouts, "ab dekha Anand babu... mein na kehti thi ki iss ladki ka saaya hi manhoos hai... dekha iski parchhayi padte hi iss ghar ka satyanash ho gaya... aur ab Preeti ko gale laga kar uska suhaag bhi chhin legi yeh manhoos... dur rah tu hamari beti se... yeh sab karne se pehle agar tu khud mar jaati toh achchha hota..." listening all this Preeti jerked her hand harshly and about to go to Naina when, someone hold her hand again...

Preeti turned and saw Vishakha was standing there holding her from her arm tightly with fiercely eyes... "theek hi toh kah rahi hai tumhari Taiji... iska manhoos saaya mere bete ko nigal gaya... dekha Papa maine pehle hi kaha tha ki yeh rishta theek nahin hai, par aap logon ne meri ek nahin suni.... dekh liya nateeja... jo ladki paida hote hi apni Maa ko kha gayi aaj usane shaadi se pehle hi mere bete ko bhi mujhse chhin liya.. sab aap logon ki zid ki wajah se huaa hai..." Rohan said, "bas kijiye Mummy.. ismein Naina Bhabhi ki kya galti hai... Sameer toh meri..." Naina hold her hand in between to stop him...

Seeing her holding Rohan's hand, Vishakha jerked her hand badly, "dur rah mere bete se... khabardaar jo Rohan ke aas paas bhi phatki toh.. Sameer ki zindagi khatam karke chen nahin mila jo iski zindagi bhi barbaad karne chali hai... tera saaya bhi nahin padne dungi mein apne Rohan par...."

Naina looked at Rohan with pleading eyes to not to tell anything at this moment to make things more worst for them.... Prabha too came ahead and starts blaming her with Taiji & Vishakha.. listening all their rants unbearable Nanu stood and shouts loudly, "bas karo tum sab log... jo man mein aa raha hai bole ja rahe ho... kyun uss bechari ko kos rahe ho, jo bhi hua hai ismein usaki kya galti hai... uska dukh hum sabse kam nahin hai... iss waqt hum sabko ek dusre ka sahara banana chahiye na ki ek dusre par ilzaam lagane chahiye...."

Vivek too said supporting her, "aur abhi inspector ne kaha hai na ki sirf gaadi mili hai... Sameer ki koi khabar nahin hai... toh kyun sab abhi se aise maatam mana rahe ho... aur vaise bhi ismein iss bechari ka kya dosh hai.... "

Kamlesh came and said with a sad face, "par Jijaji, Inspector ne kaha na ki gaadi kitani unchain se giri hai... bachna mushkil hi lagta hai..." 

Rohan looked him furiously and shout, "bas kijiye aap sab... jo man mein aa raha hai bole ja rahe hai... kuchh nahin hua Sameer ko..." he removed his sehra and went to inspector, "Sir please kya hum sab log aapke saath chal sakte hai jahaan accident huaa hai... mujhe mere bhai ko dhundhna hai... mein lekar aaunga vaapas usko..."

Inspected said, "chaliye... vaise hamari search team aapke bhaai ko dhundh rahi hai.." saying this, Vivek, Nanu, Kamlesh, Anand & Arjun left with Inspector, leaving Rohan there only... Nanu told him to take care of Naina in his absence as knowing how much now she has to bear from Vishakha and Prabha....only Rohan can handle them in this situation and take stand for her... all the guests left leaving only the family member...

After all left, Vishakha gets dizzy and faint... they called doctor who informed that because of so much stress, her BP is very high and should be taken care otherwise the consequences will be bad, making all worried for her... all takes care of her whole night...

Till late night they waited but no one came back... early morning all returned... Naina rush hurriedly to Nanu, "Nanu Sameer kahaan hai.. aap ussey apne saath nahin laaye... usane kaha tha ki voh jaldi aa jayega... aapko maloom hai na voh apna wada kabhi nahin todta...aur.. aur aapki baat toh kabhi nahin taalata...." Nanu looked at her with teary eyes and caressed her head, "mujhe maaf karde beta..." he hugged her tightly and cried hard...

Vivek informed all that police didn't get any clue of Sameer whereas car is fully burnt and it's difficult to find body in such a deep valley with adjacent thick jungle... fresh pool of tears keeps rolling on their cheeks ...

Shefali hold Naina and make her sit back on chair giving her support as she was shattered badly... suddenly Vishakha stood and hold her tightly from arm and drag her to throw out of the house..... Shefali & Bela tried hard to stop but she didn't listen when Nanu came ahead and stop her, "kya kar rahi ho tum Vishakha... samjho baat ko... jaise tumne apna beta khoya hai isane bhi apni zindagi khoyi hai... yeh waqt isse sambhalne ka hai, isse sahara dene ka hai... tum janati ho Sameer isase kitna pyaar karta tha... aaj kitna dukhi hoga uska man yeh sab dekh kar ki usake gharwale usake pyaar ke saath kaisa sulook kar rahe hai..."

Vishakha burst loudly, "bas kijiye Papa... bohot sun li aapki... ab mein kisi ki nahin sunungi... aaj ke baad yeh ladki na hi meri aankhon ke saamne aayegi.. aur na hi mera ya mere pariwaar ke kisi bhi sadasya ke saath iska dur dur tak koi rishta hoga... agar kisi ne bhi aisa kiya toh mera usase bhi rishta toot jayega..." she turned to Rohan & Preeti glaring them...

Nanu feels hurt, "koi rishta rakhe ya na rakhe, maine isse apni beti mana hai... mere Sameer ne isase wada kiya hai saath nibhane ka.. bahu na sahi yeh iss ghar ki beti hamesha rahegi..." Naina listening all this came to him, "nahin Nanu, please aisa mat kahiye... Samer vaapas aayega... mujhe pata hai, voh apna vaada kabhi nahin todta... aur mujhe nahin banana aapki beti... mein aapki bahu hun aur vahi rahungi... please aap sab intzaar kijiye... mein kar rahi hun na ki voh aayega.." she pleads to all to believe on her belief...

She turned to Vishakha when gets a hard slap on her face shocking to all, "bas karo apna yeh naatak... mera ghar barbaad karke ab drama kar rahi ho..." all tried hard to make her understand but she gets adamant, "aap log faisla kar lijiye... ya toh yeh ya mein..."

Rohan Preeti came to Naina side when she requested them, "nahin Rohan... iss waqt aunty ko tumhari jarurat hai.... Sameer nahin hai par tumhein ab sab sambhalna hai.. tum mere liye aise unse dur nahin jaa sakte... ek beta dur hai aur tum bhi dur huye toh voh poori tarah se toot jayengi..."

Rohan cried, "par Bhabhi, maine Sameer se wada kiya tha ki aap donon ka saath kabhi nahin chhodunga.." she make him understand that this time situation is worst and Vishakha needs him more than her... he agreed reluctantly when she turned to Preeti, " tujhe hi akele ab uss ghar ki saari jimmedari nibhani hai... sabka dhyaan rakhna..." they both hugged each other and cried hard...

Anand came to Naina and hugged her tightly, "beta tu ghar chal... tu akeli nahin hai, tera Chacha abhi zinda hai teri dekh bhaal karne ke liye... koi tera saath de ya na de, mein hun tere saath hamesha..." Chachi too came and took her in her embrace with Arjun and Shefali as support...

Vishakha shouts, "agar aaj aap logon ne Naina ka saath diya toh Preeti ko bhi apne saath hi le jaaiyega... jiska bhi iss ladki se koi naata hoga, usase hamara koi rishta nahin hoga... aur yeh mera aakhiri faisla hai... aaj aapko chunana hai... Naina jo zindagi bhar bojh hai aap par ya Preeti ka bhavishya, jo shaadi ke baad bhi zindagi bhar apne maayke mein hi rahegi..." all got shocked listening this when Taiji came, "nahin Anand babu ... Vishakha behenji sahi kah rahi hai... ab iss karamjali ke liye Preeti ki shaadi shuda zindagi barbaad nahin kar sakte... kya jawaab denge hum samaaj ko, pehle hi biradari se baahar shaadi huyi hai aur us par yeh sab... ek ladki ghar mein shaadi ke baad vaapas aa gayi aur dusri shaadi ke bina... bas ab bohot huya... aaj se hamara iss ladki se koi rishta nahin... jaaye aur kisi kuyen mein mar jaaye... hamari bala se...."

Anand shouts on her, "Bhabhiji, mat bhuliye Naina meri beti hai ... utani hi jitni Preeti hai... aur mein apne donon bachchon mein se kisi ek ko nahin chun sakta..." he folds his hand pleading in front of Vishakha, "please behenji samajhiye baat ko, jo hua usmein iski kya galti hai... Naina ka mere alawa duniya mein koi nahin hai... kahaan jayegi meri beti... aur Preeti ki toh abhi abhi Rohan se shaadi huyi hai... abhi toh vidaai bhi nahin huyi.."

Prabha said sternly, "aur hogi bhi nahin kabhi kyunki humein pata hai ki aap Naina ko kabhi nahin chhodenge... par hamara faisla nahin badlega..." she winked to Dadi who too smiled wickedly, thinking, "chalo agar shaadi nahin bhi ruki toh kya hua, ab vidaai nahin hogi kyunki Anand kabhi Naina ko nahin chhodega, aur mein kal hi Rohan ko lekar London chali jaaungi... kuchh din mein sab bhool jayega aur phir mein apni pasand ki ladki se iski shaadi kar dungi... divorce karwane mein bhi aasani hogi agar donon kabhi saath nahin rahe toh..."

Naina saw Prabha & Dadi's changed expressions..... she recalled when Sameer heard Dadi's conversation... she put Anand's folded hands down and said, "Chachaji maine aapse kabhi kuchh nahin maanga aaj tak, par aaj maangti hun... please aap ghar jaiye aur Preeti ki vidaai hone dijiye... mein aur Sameer chahte the ki Rohan aur Preeti ek ho jaaye... mujhe uska wada pura karne dijiye... please aap meri chinta mat kijiye... mujhe Sameer ne itni himmat di hai ki mein apne aap ko sambhal sakti hun.... please meri yeh baat maan lijiye..." before Anand said anything she keep his hand on her head, "aapko meri kasam... ab ek aur shabd nahin..."

Saying this she roamed her eyes seeing last time to all her dear ones and starts leaving the house when Nanu came and stops her, "bohot sun li sabki... bas ab aur nahin... aaj mein khud tum sab se apna rishta khatam karta hun... aaj ke baad agar mera koi apna hai toh voh sirf meri beti, meri bahu Naina, jise Sameer ne iss ghar ke liye chuna tha... mujhe isake vishwas par poora yakeen hai ki Sameer ek din jarur vaapas aayega hamare paas..... tab tak iski jimmedari meri hai aur mein usse marte dam tak nibhaunga... chale jaao sab yahaan se... humein kisi ko jarurat nahin... aaj se tum sab lon mere liye paraye ho..."

Saying this he hugged her and went inside... she tried to stop him when Nanu said, "jaise tu ne apne Chachaji ko kasam di hai vaise hi mein tujhe deta hun... khabardaar mere jeete ji kabhi mujhe chhod kar gayi tu toh... aaj se yahi tera ghar hai.. kahin nahin jaayegi tu..." Ramdhari & Munshiji too came and stands with them....

All family members left from there... filled with so many emotions - anger, regret, hurt, shattered, jealous.... later, Arjun and Shefali insist her to come with them to Mumbai but she refused as cannot left Nanu alone now... with heavy heart and promise to be with her always they too left....

After everyone left, Nanu felt dizzy and get unconscious... Ramdhari & Munshiji immediately called Doctor.... after his thorough check-up, Doctor informed, "dekhiye yeh vaise hi heart patient hai, aur aaj jo bhi hua voh inke liye khatarnaak saabit ho sakta hai... aap poori koshish kijiye ki inko kisi baat ka tension ya dukh na hoye... inhein har takleef aur pareshaani se bacha kar rakhiye..." he left after prescribing medicines and precautions for him... Naina cared for him whole day & night sitting beside him...

Next day when he feels bit better, after giving him breakfast, she came and sit with him, "Nanu ek baat puchhu...." he caressed her head lovingly, "tu kab se mujhse aise permission maangane lagi.. tu toh mere liye Sameer ke jaisi hi hai na.. bol kya bolna hai"... she said, "Nanu aapko mujh par bharosa toh hai na... mein toh sapne mein bhi Sameer ko nuksaan pahunchane ki nahin soch sakti.... aur mujhe pura vishwas hai ki Sameer jald hi hamare paas vaapas aa jayega... aap vada kijiye ki kabhi apne vishwas ko dagmagane nahin denge... hum donon mil kar uska intzaar karenge.. chaahe is mein kitna bhi waqt kyun na lag jaaye.... aapko pata hai na ki Sameer aapse kitna pyaar karta hai, voh jab aapko aise bimaar dekhega, iss haal mein dekhega toh us par kya beetegi.... mein kya jawaab dungi usako ki kyun nahin maine aapka dhyaan rakha.... aap vada kijiye ki apne man ko kabhi kamjor nahin padne denge.... Sameer hamari yaadon mein hi nahin hamare dil mein, hamare beech hi rahega... hum usse kabhi apne se dur nahin samjhenge...."

Nanu cried and took her in his embrace, "bhagwan par toh nahin beta par tere vishwas par aaj yakeen karne ko dil karta hai.... tu jaisa kahegi vaise hi hoga.... aaj se yeh ghar aur mein sirf teri baat hi maanenge... tujhe jaisa theek lage tu vaisa kar..."

She parted from him wiping his tears, "toh phir theek hai, aaj ke baad aapki aankhon mein ek bhi aansun nahin aane chahiye... aur jaldi se theek ho jaiye... mujhe mere Nanu pehle ki tarah hanste muskurate huye chahiye.... aur vaise bhi jab Sameer vaapas aayega toh humein mil kar usaki class bhi toh lagani hai.... aise kaun satata hai apnon ko.... hai na..." she laughed making him smile on her confidence, her innocence and pure heart.....

Ramdhari came with juice, "didi yeh lijiye... maalik ko pila dijiye aur aap bhi le lijiye.... kal se aapne bhi kuchh nahin khaaya peeya..." she took the tray and turned back to him, "bhaiya... aap sagai ke baad se mujhe hamesha Bhabhi kehte the, toh aaj kya hua... aapko pata hai na Sameer ne suna toh kitna gussa karega aapko..." he looked at Nanu who gesture him to follow whatever she said... he smiled holding his tears, "theek hai Bhabhi... jaisa aap kahen... aur kabhi mat bhuliyega ki hum hamesha aapke saath hai... hum apne hanuman ji se prarthna karenge ki Sameer bhaiya ko jaldi se hamare paas vaapas bhej de... phir dekhiyega sab theek ho jayega..."

After few days, Nanu got recovered but still very weak mentally and physically too.... although he tried best to hide his emotions but from inside his heart was broken, shattered, same as hers.... they both starts taking care of each other, as now they have no one other than themselves in the entire world except Sameer... who was also away from them...

Only Munna, Pandit, Swati and Priya visits them frequently as they were the only support she has left..... after getting the heart broken news of Sameer and changed relation in Maheshwari, Somani & Agarwal family, they feel devasted and stands with Nanu and Naina as the support pillars... they broke all their terms with Rohan & Preeti too as per the conditions from Vishakha...

Naina tried a lot to convince them for Rohan but they said firmly, "haalat kuchh bhi ho... usse tujhe aur Nanu ko akele chhod kar nahin jaana chahiye tha... Sameer ne hamesha bade bhai hone ka farz nibhaya par aaj uski baari thi... maana usne majboori mein apne pariwaar ko chuna hai par humne hamesha se apne dil ki suni hai aur aaj hamara dil nahin manta uska saath dene ke liye..." Munna said caressing her head, "ek pariwaar chhuta toh kya, maine hamesha tujhe apni behen maana hai aur yeh rishta mein marte dam tak nibhaugna..." Pandit too came taking her in side hug, "tu hamare dost ki amaanat hai aur tera saath dena hamara farz hai, jo hum aakhiri saans tak nibhayenge..." they all had group hug and always stands for each other...

After that day, either of them has make a mandate to daily visit Police station to inquire about Sameer from last three months without failure, with a hope to get some good news....

Rohan & Preeti were strictly instructed by Vishakha & Dadi to not to keep any relation with Nanu and Naina .... Rohan was helpless seeing Vishakha's health condition which was getting down day by day after Sameer's incident.. emotionally & mentally..... he has to be there with her to support her as she becomes very possessive about him, same case with Vivek...

Vivek tried a lot to convince Vishakha but all his efforts ended up with her emotional trauma.... Preeti was also stuck up in same situation as she promised Naina that she will take care of Sameer's mother in his absence, though Vishakha too didn't like her either at all but accepted unwillingly because of Rohan & Vivek only.... wanted or not Preeti has to follow them ...

Munshiji keep visiting at home to discuss with Nanu in all business-related matters but Nanu has left with no interest in this anymore. He halfheartedly replied on his queries and usually landed up in leaving the decision on Munshiji only to decide and take decision as best of his experience...

To let Naina overcome from her trauma and loneliness, Nanu one day approach her to join the Maheshwari Industries on his behalf, which she accepted seeing Nanu's wish and promise given to Sameer that she will handle his all responsibilities in his absence.... Pandit has already joined Maheshwari Industries, few days back and with help of Pandit, Munshiji and guidance of Nanu, she starts excelling in the business.....
