After talking to Sameer, Naina went to bed to sleep early to avoid all his memories and thoughts,

Naina POV

dil pe kab kiska jor chalta hai.... Kitna bhi apna man bana lun ki Sameer se dur rehna hai par ek din bhi na milun toh jaise jaan nikal jaati hai..... na chahte huye bhi uski taraf khichi chali ja rahi hun.. kya karun kuchh samajh nahin aa raha hai... mein usse pyar karti hun yeh sach hai, par usse bata nahin sakti, yeh usse bhi bada sach hai... kitna mushkil hota hai jab usaki aankhon mein apne liye pyaar dekhti hun aur khud ko rokna padta hai... voh kehta nahin par pata hai kitna dukh hota hoga jab mein usake pyaar ka jawaab pyaar se nahin deti... har baar usaki aankhon mein ek ummid hoti hai, aur mein usse tod deti hun... ek sachche dil ko dukhaane ki saza hi hai jo aaj mein ek din mein usake bina itna tadap rahi hun.. itni mushkil se do din kaate the aur ab ek din aur... kyun kar rahe ho bhagwan ji mere saath aisa... kuchh nahin maanga maine aapse kabhi, bas usey apne paas, apne saamne dekhna chahti hun, aur kuchh nahin... please usey jaldi bhej do.... I am missing him so much... 😥

She drifted into sleep while thinking about him, there cute moments together, recalling his proposal turned a cute smile on her lips even in deep sleep... During midnight, she feels some noise from balcony which disturbs her sleep and she open her eyes... she surprised to see the whole room in dark but a small lit candle on side table of her bed... she feels someone presence around her which makes her scared... sweats formed on her forehead, voice chocked in her throat... she tried to find Preeti lying beside her but found empty bed making her more scary. Before she shouts, someone covered her mouth with his palm. Naina's eyes flew open in shock. She felt her heartbeat, every single pound in her chest, she didn't move, couldn't even breathe...

She recognizes his touch.... it's him... Sameer... he was only an inch away from his face, she could feel his breathe falling on her face.... She blinked hard to believe he was here... in her room.. sitting so close to her with his usual charming smile.... She was completely lost when he snapped a finger in front of her eyes and slowly pulled back his hand from her mouth...

Naina : Sameer... tum yahaan ... iss waqt... kyun..... kya hua... tum toh Baroda mein the na....

Sameer smiled widely and keep his finger on her lips, looking intensely into her eyes, he said, "Happy Birthday Naina".... She was hell shocked seeing him with wide eyes whereas he pulled a tray from side table with a small cake, with one candle ....

Sameer said romantically : Naina , tumhein pata hai na tumhari aankhen bahut khubsoorat hai aur inhein dekh kar mein sab kuchh bhool jaata hun, aur jab tum pyaar se mujhe dekhti ho toh lagta hai puri duniya ki khushiyan mujhe mil gayi aur mein ek alag hi sapno ki duniya mein kho jata hun... toh please mujhe aise dekhna bandh karo aur jaldi se cake kaato, dekho candle bhi pighal rahi hai...." he winked and gesture her to cut cake.....

She blinked hard to believe all, about to say something when he again says, "please jaldi se kaato na"... a lone tear drops from her eyes, he wiped immediately, "aaj nahin Naina... aaj ke din ek bhi aansun nahin dekh paaunga tumhari aankhon mein..... please meri khaatir"...... she smiled on her gesture with teary eyes and looked at him...

She blows the candle and cut the cake... he again wished her Happy Birthday and cut a small piece to feed her by his own hand, he gifted a small gift box, with a chocolate, roses and card to her and asked to see once he left ..... he looked intensely into her eyes...... she too feed a small piece to him looking into his eyes..... he said slowly

Their trance broke with a thud voice from balcony... Naina realize her surrounding and turned white with fear.... "Sameer tum yahaan kaise iss waqt... kisi ne dekha toh nahin..."

He smiled and said, "kisi ne nahin dekha... tum daro mat"... she got more confused and asked, "par tum iss waqt darwaje se kaise aaye, bell toh shayad nahin baji.... aur... aur Preeti kahaan hai"...

He grinned widely and said, "chalo mere saath batata hun" ..... he holds her hand and took her out in balcony where Preeti was standing, he turned her to see down and there Rohan Munna & Pandit were standing holding a big banner "Happy Birthday Naina" and balloons ...

She smiled looking them all and waive them.... Preeti hugged her and wish her birthday, she turned to Sameer and said, "vaise har saal sabse pehle isse mein wish karti thi par iss saal maine tumhein mauka de diya..... par koi nahin, isake chehre ki yeh Khushi dekhne ke liye toh mein kuchh bhi kar sakti hun"...

Sameer, "Thanks Preeti so much for all this help..." Naina looked amazingly to both of them... Sameer smiled and patted on her cheek, "jyada socho mat... kal milenge toh bata dunga...... man toh nahin hai par ab jaana padega... kal milte hai.. and once again Happy Birthday "... he turned to go when Naina hold his hand in panic, "tum yahaan se kudoge.... paagal ho kya"... he laughed and pointed at the pipe "nahin yahaan se, voh sidi ka intjaam nahin ho paya itni raat ko toh, pipe se aana pada"... he crossed over the railing and hold onto the pipe and went down slowly..... all boys left after waving bye to Preeti and Naina who watched them till they were visible... they waited for few minutes and came back to their room....

Preeti : toh Naina madam kaisa laga surprise... majaa aaya..... sach bata udaas ho gayi thi na tu soch kar ki Sameer aaj nahin hoga yahaan"...

Naina puffed her face in fake anger, "toone mujhe bataya kyun nahin... sab Sameer ke saath mile huye ho, mere saath toh koi bhi nahin....." Preeti encircled her hand around her neck and sweetly kiss on her cheeks, "Sameer bhi toh tera hi hai... uska saath matlab tera saath... ab maan bhi ja na, aur kitna tadpayegi bechare ko... dekh tere liye Baroda se bhaagte huye aaya hai, aur ghar na jaakar sidhe yahaan aaya voh bhi pipe se chad kar... sach Naina bahut pyaar karta hai tujhse".... Suddenly Preeti look at the gift lying at bed, "yeh Sameer ne diya hai? khol toh jara... dekhe usaki pasand kaisi hai"... Naina slowly took the packet and unwrapped and open the box... it was a beautiful designer watch with a note

Preeti, "wah Naina, it's so pretty na... kal isse hi pehen kar college jaana... chal ab cake toh khila de.." they both feed cake to each other and after wishing again, Preeti slept... Sleep was far away from Naina's eyes .. she keeps toggling her side on the bed restless but with a contended smile on her face and thinking

Aaj pehli baar maine apna birthday manaya hai, aaj maa ki bahut yaad aa rahi hai.... kaash voh hoti toh hamesha mera janamdin aise hi manaati.... Sameer ne itna socha mere liye, yeh sab planning, cake, gift, kaise samjhaun usse ki yeh sab ek din kahin uske liye dard ki wajah na ban jaaye... kyun karta hai voh mujhse itna pyaar... please bhagwan ji usse hamesha khush rakhna, mere badle ki saari Khushi bhi usko de dena...

Then only phone rings, she picked up immediately knowing who there on the other side is,

Samaina : Hello !.... Sameer : Happy Birthday once again sweetheart

Naina feels shy but holding her emotions, "Sameer ... please yeh sab mat bolo na...

Sameer to tease her, "ab apni jaan ko sweetheart toh bol hi sakta hun... hai na.. aur yaad hai na maine kaha tha ki na tum mujhe rokogi aur na mein tumse jabardasti karunga... toh

To avoid more teasing , she asked, "pehle yeh batao mujhse jhuth kyun kaha ki kal shaam tak aaoge, aur yeh sab kab plan kiya, mujhe kuchh kyun nahin bataya"

Sameer smiled, "sach Naina tum na bahut cute ho... bhala surprise bhi koi pehle se batata hai...." he laughed, "voh darasal, college ki bus aur baaki students toh kal hi aayenge vaapas, par maine coach sir se special permission li aur Mundit ke saath vaapas aa gaya... aakhir tumhara birthday kaise miss kar sakta tha"

Naina, "Thank you so much for your lovely surprise... par tumhein aise pipe se nahin aana chahiye tha, kahin lag jaati toh"

Sameer, "yaar voh actually sab tumhare laadle devar ki galti hai... usse bol kar rakha tha sab intjaam karne ke liye aur usne preeti ke saath saari planning bhi kar li par sidi ka dhyan hi nahin rakha, toh mujhe phir pipe se aana pada... vaise tum chinta mat karo, maine Mussoorie mein bahut tracking ki hai, mujhe aadat hai.. vaise thanks meri inti chinta karne ke liye.... I love You"

Naina shyly, "Good Night.... tum rest karo thak gaye hoge... kal milte hai"

Sameer keeping his hand on his heart, "ab kal ka intzaar rahega iss dil ko... kal college jaldi aana please"

They both disconnect the line and she drifted into sleep serenely....
