Next day they all reached college with a new passion and zeal... if Sameer was fully prepared to win his love back, his besties were all willing to support him in possible ways... they reached their class and saw Naina sitting with Preeti and Swati at her daily seat, drowned herself in books... in actual trying to avoid any interaction with Sameer and others after whatever has happened from last two days...

Sameer looks towards her but as usual she didn't even lift her eyes even once to avoid him completely... his eyes get watery seeing her so quiet and sad, pinched his heart as unable to see her gloomy face...

Munna console him, "dekh Sameer agar tu aise himmat harega toh Naina ko kaise sambhalega.... chal jaa aur usase baat kar... aasaan nahin hoga lekin tujhe yeh karna hi hoga... aakhir tere pyaar ka sawaal jo hai..." he encouraged his friend to take first step towards his own happiness if wants to convince her...

Sameer nodded in yes and move towards her, already too nervous, cracking his knuckles out of anxiety... he stops in his way seeing Sunaina and Kartik standing in front of him to make it worst the situation.

Sunaina with attitude, "Good Morning handsome... how are you?"

Sameer ignored her completely giving an annoying look to her and move towards Naina with Munna and Pandit...

Kartik feeling insulted said, "chhod na Sunaina... kahaan in low class logo se baat kar rahi hai... dekh toh kitna attitude hai iss hero mein... pata nahin khud ko kya samajhta hai"

Sameer stops hearing their taunts and turned looking them angrily and about to reply when JBR enters... he holds his anger and moved towards his seat avoiding any argument further...

Sameer sits saying frustratedly, "yaar isake chakkar mein Naina se baat nahin ho paayi... dekh kaise udaas si baithi hai akele jaise koi aas paas ho hi nahin..." he said looking towards Naina who didn't even glance him once.

Munna tried to relax him, "koi baat nahin Sameer, din toh abhi shuru hua hai.. class ke baad dekhte hai... aur ab toh hum bhi tere saath hai toh koi na koi raasta nikaal hi lenge..."

Class starts but Sameer keeps on staring at her direction... Preeti sees him and gets too much angry... she promised herself that after Sameer's last day behavior she will never let him come close to Naina to make her upset more...

Lecture starts but two souls were all lost in their own thoughts... one was focusing completely on his lady love whereas the other one knowing someone piercing gaze on her feels uncomfortable but didn't show up....

Munna seeing Sameer all lost, jerked him, "Sameer kya hua... kahaan khoya hai.. kuchh puchh raha hun kitni der se..."

Sameer coming back to sense, "kyun kya hua achanak... tujhe kya chahiye ab mujhse jo disturb kar diya"

Pandit replied dramatically, "bhai jyaada kuchh nahin chahiye bas aapki aagya chachiye canteen jaane ke liye... kripa kar ke chalenge... mere masoom se pet ko bahut bhookh lagi hai..." he said making most puppy face feeling hungry

Sameer smiles on his antics and nodded... Pandit grinned, "chalo finally aap muskuraye toh sahi... bas ab isi muskurahat ka jaadu kahin aur bhi chala de.." he winked looking at Naina making him smile more...

They all left for canteen except Naina like other days... Sameer keeps on looking her, but she was sitting with lowering her head as avoiding his intense gaze on her...

When all settled in canteen, Sameer winks at Munna and make an excuse to go back and talk to her...

The moment he came out from Canteen going back to their class, heard one familiar voice calling him from back, "Sameer... ek minute ruko..."

He turned and saw Preeti standing there with a furious look on her face...

Preeti asked sternly, "Sameer mujhe tumse kuchh baat karni hai... chalo mere saath..." her face was devoid of any emotions

Sameer doesn't want to miss this chance to speak to Naina so tried avoiding her replied, "voh Preeti... mujhe kuchh jaruri kaam hai abhi... tum canteen chalo mein thodi der mein aata hun.... phir aaraam se baat karenge..."

Preeti replied harshly, "look Sameer, I know ki tumhe kya aur kaun sa jaruri kaam hai... so stop acting now... come will talk in garden..." saying this she moves to a corner side in garden so that no one can hear them... Sameer unwillingly followed her as doesn't want to annoy her anymore... he knew how much Preeti is close to Naina

Preeti asked in serious tone, "Sameer, tum kya karne ki koshish kar rahe ho itane dinon se mein sab samajh rahi hun... look maine tumhe hamesha achchha dost maana hai... lekin koi mere kisi apne ko takleef de toh mein usey kabhi maaf nahin karti... so please Naina se dur raho... mein usey aur pareshaan nahin dekh sakti... atleast tumhari wajah se toh bilkul nahin..."

Sameer got shocked seeing her complaining him, "Preeti, kaisi baatein kar rahi ho... I think tumhein koi confusion hua hai... mein Naina ko takleef dene ke baare mein toh soch bhi nahin sakta... lekin tumehin aisa kyun lagta hai... I mean kisi ne kuchh kaha tumse" he was totally clueless of Preeti's weird reaction towards him

Preeti replied getting angry, "Sameer tum samajh nahin rahe ho... ye sab tumhare liye khel hoga.. par Naina... voh pehle hi bahut pareshaan hai... voh ye sab bardasht nahin kar payegi... toot jayegi meri behen..." her voice trembled feeling her sister's pain

Sameer replied instantly, "aur tumehin lagta hai mein use tootne doonga... Preeti mujhe nahin pata tum mere baare mein kya sochti ho par mere liye Naina meri zindagi hai... nahin jee sakta mein Naina ke bina... koi kaisi apni hi zindagi ko takleef de sakta hai..."

Preeti got shocked listening to his confession but recalling his behavior never wanted to believe him anymore, "nahin tum jhooth bol rahe ho... aisa hota toh us din tum Naina ko dekh kar ek dum se bhaag nahin jaate... usane nahin kaha par mujhe pata hai uske dil ko kitni chot pahunchi hai, kitna dukh hua hai usse... kitna bharosa karti thi voh tum par lekin tumne kya kiya..."

Sameer replied softly knowing his fault, "Preeti, I am genuinely sorry for that day... mujhe nahin pata tha Naina ke accident ke baare mein... mere liye bhi voh sab ek shock jaisa hi tha... haan maine galat tarike se react jarur kiya par sach maano, mein bahut sharminda hun iss baat par.. I am really really sorry...aur abhi mein usase bhi sorry bolne hi ja raha tha... yakin maano yeh meri pehle aur aakhiri galti hogi and promise ki meri wajah se kabhi Naina ka dil nahin dukhega..."

Preeti replied confusingly, "par Sameer, tum chahte kya ho... kyun jabardasti uske kareeb jaane ki koshish kar rahe ho jab voh tumhein avoid kar rahi hai... tumhein nahin pata us accident ke baad se uski zindagi mein sab kuchh badal gaya hai... kuchh bhi aasaan nahin hai usake liye... voh..."

Sameer cut her in between, "toh kya hua... mein hoon usake saath zindagi ke har mod par saath dene ke liye... aaj bhi, kal bhi aur hamesha hamesha ke liye... bas mujhe thoda waqt chachiye usse sab batane ke liye... manaane ke liye..."

Preeti's tone softens hearing his confession but still confused, "par voh shayad ab kabhi nahin maanegi aur vajah tum samajh rahe ho..."

Sameer smiled confidently, "nahin maanegi toh manayenge.. aur ab tum ho na mere saath... bolo saath dogi na mera apni behen ki khushiyaan vaapas laane ke liye..."

He forwards his hand to Preeti... after a bit hesitant she also keeps her hand in his hand, "pakka saath dungi... par yaad rakho meri behen ko koi dukh nahin hona chahiye... tum nahin jaante uska dil kitna naajuk hai..."

Sameer grinned widely, "aur uss dil ki hifazat mein apni jaan se bhi jyaada karunga... promise and thanks Preeti... tumse baat karke aaj sach mein ek nayi himmat mil gayi hai mujhe... ab shayad manzil dur nahin..."

Preeti smiled teasing him back, "dur toh nahin par mushkil jaroor hai... aasaan nahin hoga shayad uske dil mein phir se apne liye jagah banana..."

Sameer, "koi baat nahin, mein taiyaar hun... achchha suno, I need your help... just promise me, tum Naina ko mere baare mein kuchh nahin kahogi... na force karogi.... na uske saamne mera support karogi..."

Preeti asked surprisingly, "par kyun... isase toh tumko hi aasani hogi usse manane mein... soch lo voh meri baat sabse jyaada maanti hai..."

Sameer, "nahin Preeti, mein nahin chahta ki Naina kisi majboori mein ya kisi ke kehne par mujhe accept kare... mein usake dil mein phir se apne liye vahi jagah banana chahta hun... mein chahta hun voh khud apane aap se mujhe aur hamare rishte ko haan bole... chaahe isame kitna bhi waqt lag jaye... I will wait... aur tum usaki sabse badi himmat ho, maine dekha hai kaise voh apna har sukh dukh tumhare saath hi share karti hai.... mein usse akela nahin hone de sakta... tum usake saath rahogi toh mujhe bhi tasalli rahegi ki voh akeli nahin hai... bas isiliye..."

Preeti feels delighted hearing him, "Sameer, sach kahun mein tumse bahut naraaz thi par now I really respect you and your feelings... don't worry jaisa tum kahoge vaisa hi hoga... apni behen ki khushiyon ke liye mein tumhare saath hun aaj se..."

Few familiar voices came from behind, "aur hum bhi" they both turned seeing Munna Pandit and Swati was standing there... all five of them had a group hug and assure Sameer for full support to win her back...

Sameer smile going towards class, "okay now tum sab log canteen jaao aur mein chala apni Naina ke paas... aur haan please jaldi mat aana... bye..." saying this he rushed to classroom to meet her girl... they all smiled seeing his craziness and eager to meet her...

Naina was sitting alone in class and reading a book... getting tired and hungry, she pulled out a tiffin box from her bag and start eating a stuffed parantha roll (as she won't go to canteen she always carries her lunch)

Taking first bit, suddenly it chocked in her throat... she looks for water, but it was not there in her bag...

Naina coughing badly, "oh shit... paani toh hai nahin... mujhe hi jaana padega ... par pata nahin canteen kis taraf hai..." her eyes turned watery due to continuous cough and feeling irritated as till now she had never seen any other place in college except her classroom...

She keeps on coughing and about to get up from desk when a hand forwards her a bottle to drink water... she took it and gulp it immediately to soothe her... feeling a soft touch on her back caressing softly, she lifts her face and saw Sameer was standing there and rubbing her back to keep her relax...

Sameer asked calmly, "are you okay... paani pi lo... mujhe aise dekhne se khaansi nahin rukegi..." he smiled seeing her so lost seeing him there...

She gets nervous averting her gaze and had few more sips and return the bottle... she feels awkward and uncomfortable by his intense gaze...

He sits next to her and asked, "tum theek ho ab..." she nodded slowly but remain silent...

Sameer asked breaking silence between them, "yahaan akele akele paranthe khaaye jaa rahe hai aur humein dekho roj roj vo canteen ka samosa khaana padta hai..... that's not fair Naina..." he said cutely making face to keep her comfortable with her... reminiscing their old days when she brings lunch for them in school...

He waited for her reaction but didn't find any movement... he picked up a bite from her tiffin and eat it, "wow it's so tasty... par lagta hain tumne nahin banaye... yeh tumhare hathon wala taste nahin hai jaisa school mein hota tha..."

Naina got amazed that he still remembers her cooking and taste, but stays quiet and looking other side...

Sameer seeing her still quite asked politely, "Naina, baat bhi nahin karogi mujhse... mein jaanta hoon tum naraaz ho mujhse aur hona bhi chahiye... and I am genuinely sorry us din ke liye.. I ... I... I... don't know what happened but..." he really wanted to apologize but didn't get words to express his guilt

She cut her sentence in between and just replied avoiding further, "it's okay... you don't need to be sorry... it's not your fault..."

Sameer got shocked hearing her... he was expecting an outburst from her but oppositely she is not blaming him for anything but seems not ready to talk further...

Sameer said, "thanks but can you please once look at me... I mean tum mujhe dekhti bhi nahin jaise jaanti hi na ho... itne dinon se hum roj college mein milte hai lekin anjaano ki tarah jaise pehle kabhi mile hi na ho..." he waited but she didn't move...

Taking a deep sigh he said, "at least can we be friends like school days..." he forwards his hand for friendship towards her... Naina finally lifts her eyes shockingly on his sudden behavior but didn't respond...

Sameer asked again hopefully that she will accept, "I am waiting Naina..."

Naina replied taking a deep breath controlling her emotions, "dekho Sameer, hum classmates hai aur better hoga vahin rahe... please mujhse yeh friendship and all nahin hogi... please ab tum jao aur sabke saath enjoy karo... please don't waste your time with me"

Sameer pleads, "please Naina... I said sorry for that day... please ab maaf bhi kar do na..."

Naina, "Sameer please sorry mat bolo... it's really nothing like that... mein tumse naraaj hi nahin hun toh maafi kis baat ki... par please leave me alone... mujhe padna hai..." saying this she picked up her book again to read avoiding him...

Sameer felt dishearten thinking, "nahin Naina... aise toh mein tumhein nahin chhod sakta... chaahe kitna bhi waqt lage yeh haath toh mein thaam kar hi rahunga... jaanta hoon raah aasaan nahin hogi lekin jo raasta mujhe tum tak le jaaye uss par chalne se mein kabhi nahin darr sakta... ab dekho mein kya karta hun... aakhir dosti pyaar ki pehle sidi jo hoti hai... toh dosti toh tumhein mujhse karni hi padegi and you don't have any choice dear..." he smiles naughtily looking at her making plans to make her accept his friendship...
