A week passed... Naina woke up early and went to temple with Chachaji and came back with Prasad.. She went straight into room and put on music in tape recorder to wake up Preeti. She went near to bed and whisper in her ear loudly.... Happy Birthday Preeti....

Preeti wake up with jerk and saw Naina sitting next to her with a smile on her face and spread her hands to hug her.... they both had a bone crush hug and she again wish her birthday....

Preeti : aaj bhi hamesha ki tarah tune hi mujhe wish kiya hai sabse pehle... thank you thank you so much ... I love you... ab chal jaldi se apne haath ka bana prasad bhi de... mujhe pata hai tu mere liye prarthna karne mandir gayi hogi subah subah uth kar....

Naina feeds her prasad : bhukkad... yeh le ... achchha hota tu bhi mere saath chalti... par koi nahin mein hun na tere liye .. aaj maine bhagwan se tere liye saari duniya ki khushiyan maangi hai...

Pooja didi enter and also wish Preeti... humein pata tha Naina aaj mandir jaroor jayegi isiliye humne pehle wish nahin kiya tujhe... aur yeh le tera gift.. tere jijaji ne pehle se hi kharid kar saath mein diya tha... aur Naina yeh tere liye....

Naina surprisingly... arey par mera nahin iska birthday hai... phir mujhe kyun...

Pooja said lovingly careeing hre head, "toh, tu apna birthday manati kahaan hai... humein wish tak to karne nahin deti theek se..... vaise bhi Varun ji ke liye tum donon ek barabar ho... chalo ab yeh sab chhodo aur apna apna gift dekho.... Hope you will like it...

Then trio hug each other and later Anand, Bela all wish Preeti and give her so many gifts too...

Naina (in her mind) : Kaash mein bhi koi gift la paati... har saal isse mere surprise gift ka sabse jyada intzaar rehta tha.... akele mein market jaa nahin sakti aur iske saath jaati to surprise kahaan rehta... Pooja didi ko bhi saath nahin le ja sakti thi... par koi nahin meri wishes toh hai na uske saath...

Rohan and Sameer get ready for college and waiting for Munna Pandit...

Rohan impatiently : Yaar yeh log itana late kyun ho rahe hai.... thoda jaldi nahin aa sakte kya ek din bhi...

Sameer : Relax yaar, abhi bahut time hai.. tu aaj itna utawla kyun ho raha hai...

Rohan (shyly) : Voh yaar... actually... voh aaj Preeti ka birthday hai to socha sabse pehle college jaakar usse wish kar deta hoon ....

Sameer : Haan toh kar dena na.. ismein itni besabri kyun.... wait ... wait... matlab tu itna Sharma raha hai.... voh bhi Preeti ke naam se..... kuchh chhupa raha hai kya.....mujhe toh bata de yaar.....vaise kuchh gift liya hai uske liye... mujhe pata hota toh mein hi le aata...

Rohan (nervously) : arey nahin na... mein kya chhupaunga... aisa kuchh nahin bas ab hum achchhe friends hai toh bas yun hi... haan vaise gift laya hun varna kachcha kha jayegi mujhe....

Sameer (teasingly) : Vaise ladki achchhi hai... aur tujh jaise bhondu kitabi keede ke liye toh us jaisi strong ladki hi sahi rahegi.....

Rohan dreamingly said : Haan hai to bahut pyari... poori duniya se alag.... talented bhi bahut hai, kitni aasani se har waqt ladne ke bahane dhundh leti hai...... anokha talent hai usmein...

Sameer : Haan toh hum ladate bhi toh usi se hain jisse sabse jyada pyar karte hai...

Rohan : Matlab tu kehna chah raha hai ki voh aur me... I mean hum donon.... No ways yaar ... ek number ki ladaka hai voh... daaku Hasina types....

Sameer laughed but somehow understood his brothers' feelings developing for Preeti, he keeps thinking : Chalo achchha hai ek aur love story shuru hui... hey bhagwan sab ki help kar dena bas mera hi number nahin aa raha....

They all reached college and wait for girls to come in... They took all girls to canteen first where Rohan & Pandit prepare a small celebration for Preeti.. she cut the cake and firstly feed to Naina and then to all... Today they bunked their first class and planned to stay in canteen only and a treat from Preeti to all.. Swati, Rohan, Priya all give her gifts and they start their party.....

Sameer sits beside Naina to talk as feeling her bit quiet than other days...

Sameer : Naina, aaj toh tum ghar par bahut enjoy karoge... shaam ka kya plan hai... party ya kahin baahar jaoge...

Naina : nahin bas ghar ke log hi party karenge... Taiji ko to yeh sab pasand hi nahin hai na isliye jyada hungama ho to daant pad jaati hai.. haan par aaj Swati Priya hamare saath hi ghar jaayengi toh bahut masti karenge, vaise bhi kal Sunday hai toh koi problem nahin hoga... aur phir Pooja didi bhi hai ghar par...

Sameer: wow phir to tum log aaj poori raat khoob masti karne wale ho... vaise mein to puchhna hi bhool gaya tumhara birthday kab aata hai... tumne kabhi bataya nahin...

Naina gets sad, replied in low tone : voh kuchh mahine pehle hi gaya hai... kuchh khaas nahin bas mujhe apna birthday manana pasand nahin.....

Sameer surprisingly, "very bad Naina, tumne bataya nahin, hum sab poore din saath hote hai, phir bhi pata nahin chala"

Naina : nahin voh is baar Sunday tha toh bas ghar par the, vaise bhi mein celebrate nahin karti toh its okay na...

Sameer (in his mind) : shit yaar, is saal bhi maine miss kar diya par koi nahin agle saal tum dekhna mein kya karta hun... ek dum out of the world...

Sameer : vaise aaj tumne kya diya Preeti ko... I am sure tumhara gift toh sabse best hoga...

Naina (sadly) : Nahin voh mein kuchh la hi nahin paayi... she said excitedly with a glint in her eyes, "tumhein pata hai voh har saal sabse pehle mera gift dekhti thi par is saal yeh nahin kar paayi... mujhe pata hai kahegi nahin par voh miss kar rahi hai mera gift.. usake liye sabse special jo hota tha, sabse best surprise......

Sameer : Haan toh tumhein lana chahiye tha na ... kya problem thi...

Naina : Kaise laati... mein akele market kaise jaati aur usake saath jaati to surprise kaise rahta...

Sameer understood meaning of her hidden words, her apprehensions, her fear... to lighten her mood he diverts the topic and start having breakfast and prasad prepared by her...

They all headed to class for next lecture when Sameer hold her hand and stop her entering in class...

Sameer : Naina, tumse kuchh baat karni hai...

Naina : Haan toh class mein chalkar baat karte hai na...

Sameer : Nahin..pehle meri ek baat manogi ...... mere saath market chalogi.. Preeti ke liye gift lene.. hum jaldi se jaakar aa jayenge...

Naina lowered her eyes and nodded in no... Nahin Sameer, tum pareshaan mat ho... it's okay... usse pata hai voh bura nahin maanegi...

Sameer : Baat usake bura manane ki nahin hai... tumhari ichchha ki hai... tum chahti ho na uske liye gift lena to chalo na... kya problem hai... mein hun tumhare saath... bharosa nahin hai mujhpe?

Naina : aise baat nahin hai... par...

Sameer : par var kuchh nahin...hum bas chal rahe hai... its final... aur maine Rohan ko bata diya hai, voh sabko bata dega ki hum kuchh jaruri kaam se gaye hai.... koi humein nahin dhudhega...

He holds her hand and move towards parking area. He opened the front door and make her sit comfortably and settled himself in driving seat...

Sameer looking at her : daro mat mein car achchhi chala leta hun.... She smiles and they move to market for buying gift... they keep on chatting continuously while whole route, she excitedly told her that how every year they celebrate Preeti's birthday without noticing to Taiji ..... "yaar tumhari Taiji kuchh jyada ajeeb nahin hai... birthday celebrate karne ko kaun rokta hai" he said..

They parked the car in market and move to a big store having all girl's items and accessories. Naina bought Preeti's favorite dress which she was planning to buy and matching accessories... Sameer was standing near the counter and saw a red baandhani dupatta and imagined Naina wearing this. He brought that dupatta and hid it in his bag before Naina finished her shopping...

Sameer : ho gaya gift... tumne kuchh apane liye nahin liya...

Naina : Nahin .. mujhe kuchh nahin lena tha bas voh Preeti ke liye ho gaya... thanks to you...

They headed towards parking area and sits inside the car, when two people were staring them from far evily......
