They all move together in groups from all the directions towards the goons... seeing so many boys and girls coming towards them, they plan to leave the place and start running out from there. One of the goons, was carrying Naina on his shoulder, throw her down and tried to hit her from a thick wood log to kill before they leave, when Rohan and Sameer pushed him hard from back and make him fall far from her......

Rohan, Munna and Priyank run towards the goon to catch them joining with others, but he got up and start running with other goons from there... they all start chasing them quite far but after few distance they board their jeep and run from there.... here Sameer run towards Naina and take her into his embrace tightly....

He caressed her face with his hands.. he cradled her to support her, pushed the hairs out of her face, and wiped her tears.... he removed the cloth tied and open her mouth, till then Swati opened ropes from her legs and Sameer opened her hands.... She hugged him back and cried uncontrollable, completely shattered.....

Sameer saw her top was slightly torn from sleeves, he immediately removes his jacket and cover her to avoid seeing by anyone, his own eyes were misty, he patted her back and head to console her, who was sobbing relentlessly... she was lying completely broken in his arms.. he controlled his anger and pain as he has to be strong for her but didn't get courage to utter a single word...

All boys came back panting heavily... Munna, "saale bhaag gaye yaar.... Looking at Swati, " Naina theek hai?... isse jyaada kahin lagi toh nahin"... Swati wiping her tears caressed on her hair and asked, "Naina tu theek hai na"... Naina turned to her, Swati & Preeti pulled her into a tight hug, and all three cried, shedding uncontrollable tears.....

JBR : Sameer, chalo yahaan se Naina ko lekar... yeh jagah safe nahin hai... aur sab ek saath rehna, koi akele kahin nahin jayega, shaam bhi hone wali hai ..." saying this he asked everyone to move....

Sameer and Preeti helped her to get up holding her tightly.. she stood up and looked at Sameer helplessly, knowingly she doesn't have her crutches to walk Sameer & Munna hold her tightly from both the sides and help her to walk slowly.... few distance covered but that was too much for her to losing all strength left in her... seeing her so week and unable to walk any more, Sameer silently bent and pick her up in his arms without asking... seeing her in worst condition no one said anything & even appreciate his concern for her .....

They all were so scared that no one said or talk anything while returning, just assuring all are safe now.....she keep on looking at him while wrapping her hands in his neck, so close to him, but Sameer was totally quiet, not even seeing at her face nor in her eyes, feeling guilty on himself for not able to save her again ....

They all reached back at dhaaba where all other friends and teachers were waiting for them..... Sameer make her sit on a chair when Priya brings water... she wash her face and hand when Sameer noticed few scratches and wounds on her wrist... a small cut mark was visible now near to her lips at left side as someone might have slapped her hard... Sameer closed his eyes to control his tears and anger..... Rohan came and hugged him tightly to console him...

Sameer caressed his head and asked, "tu kaisa hai... dard jyaada hai kya.. dikha mujhe" he touched his head, back side on his wound, but Rohan assure him, "mein theek hun... tu theek hai... tu aise ghabrayega toh Naina ko kaun sambhalega... dekh kitna darr gayi hai... ek shabd bhi nahin boli itni der se... ja jaakar usse baat kar" Sameer turned and looked at her crying silently....but didn't get courage to talk to her, feeling so helpless....

After few minutes, JBR asked everyone to board the bus to continue the journey as they are already very late now... all starts heading towards bus when Sameer noticed Karthik standing there silently and looking at them... he mouthed "Thanks" to him with a fade smile.. Karthik put hand on his shoulder and said, "dhyan rakhna" and left in other bus... Sameer lift her in his arms and board the bus... all settled on their seats same as previously...

Once bus started, Swati brings first aid kit from JBR and give it to Sameer.... "please yeh dawai laga do aur bandage kar do... chot jaldi se theek ho jayegi.." with holding tears, he quietly put some ointment on her wrist, she winced in pain the moment he touched her ... he looked at her instantly but she smiled and shook her head assuring no pain... he does the dressing and all gang settled back on their seats, stressed and tired...

Naina asked slowly, "Sameer, kuchh bologe nahin... sachchi meri koi galti nahin thi... voh toh achaanak hi un logon se takra gayi mein" Sameer keep looking down on her wounded wrist, sitting quietly holding his tears... she holds his face up and said, "mein theek hun ab... please ek baar dekho toh meri taraf.." he covered his face with her hand and burst into tears.....

All gang turned and seeing him crying couldn't hold their own tears.....

Naina looking at all, "bas bhi karo ab sab... please chup ho jao..." she looked with pleading eyes to all and make a cute face, "please yaar chot toh mujhe lagi hai aur ro tum sab rahe ho... phir mujhe kaun chup karayega... bolo... this is cheating na", they all smiled on her cuteness and settled back on their seats assuring she is fine and need some lone time to handle Sameer ...

Naina, "Sameer please kuchh toh bolo" he lifts his face and looked into her eyes... "I am Sorry Naina, maine vaada kiya tha phir bhi .....

She cut in between, "haan toh tumne hi toh bachaya na varna voh toh mujhe maarne wale the... please ab shaant ho jaao na... tumhein meri kasam"

He tried to control his sobs and said, "sach Naina, mein bahut darr gaya tha... ek pal ke liye laga jaise maine tumhein kho diya ho... jaan nikla gayi thi"

Naina to lighten his mood, "dekho ab mein theek hun, tumhare paas hun, saath hun, please agar tum aise pareshaan hoge toh trip ka saara majaa kharaab ho jayega... isi liye zid ki thi mujhe saath lane ke liye... bolo" she made a cute baby face which finally make him smile,... she scrunched his nose and said, "aise hi muskurate raha karo, achchhe lagte ho" they both smiled after long time ....

She rested her head on his shoulder and said, "darr toh mein bhi gayi thi... par mujhe pata tha tum aa jayoge, mujhe kuchh nahin hone doge... aur dekha mera vishwas jeet gaya"... he keeps stroking his fingers on her hair, "tum ab aaraam karo, you need rest"... she keep sitting closely with him feeling the warmth and affection and close her eyes thinking, "kaise batau ki voh log tumhein maarna chahte the... agar bata diya toh phir se guilt mein aa jaoge aur nahin bataya toh pakaa gussa karoge... aur phir tumhari safety bhi toh main concern hai... kuchh toh sochna padega.. aise tumhein na toh pareshaan dekh sati hun aur na hi kisi khatre mein.." she drifted into sleep soon peacefully feeling safe and secure in his arms...

He feels her bit shivering either due to cold or due to fear, he couldn't understand but pulled her close to him and enclosed into a tight hug to keep her calm and safe... Preeti offered a blanket to Sameer to wrap her completely, "isse thand jaldi lag jaati hai... tum donon isse odh lo... ya tum kaho toh mein baith jaaun isake saath.."

Sameer assured Preeti that she is fine now and safe with him, "nahin tum please Rohan ka dhyan rakho, mein hun isake paas..." seeing her relaxed and slept, finally makes all stress-free and they all rested with their partners... no one has left with mood and energy to even talk or discuss anything after such a hurtful event...

The whole journey went quiet for all...... Naina slept peacefully in his arms feeling all safe and secure... but Sameer was continuously looking at her face, her wounds, holding her wrist crying silently... sleep was far away from his eyes now...

Sameer POV

Aaj phir ek baar isse kho dene ke ehsaas ne meri jaan nikaal di.. laga jaise mein saans lena bhi bhool gaya hun.... Jitna bhi chahun usse takleef se bacha nahin pata... kaise maine usse akele sunsaan jagah pe jaane diya, galti meri hi hai... usaki hifajat ka wada kiya tha maine Nanu se aur usake Chachaji se bhi, kitna bharosa karte hai sab mujhpar... kya bolunga, kya jawaab dunga mein Nanu ko... ab ek pal ke liye bhi mein isse apne se dur nahin hone dunga, bhale hi koi kuchh bhi kahe... kitna pyaar, kitnaa bharosa hai Naina ko mujh par... isse kabhi tutane nahin de sakta....I love you Naina....

He kissed softly on her hair and smiled looking her cute face smiling in deep sleep...

He didn't even close his eyes for even a second in whole journey.... her comfort and safety are more important than his own for him.... 

Whereas in other bus Sunaina was fuming in anger on Karthik for helping Sameer and gang for finding Naina... "kya jarurat thi tumko unki help karne ki... pehle toh tum par hi iljaam laga rahe the..."

Karthik tried to calm her, "Sunaina yaar, samjha kar... hamare college ki ladki hai, hamari class ki hai, aur phir agar hum nahin bhi madad karte toh Sameer usse dhundh hi leta... dekha tha maine kaise uski jaan ataki huyi thi Naina ke bina... kuchh bhi kaho par lagta hai jaise donon ek dusre se bohot pyaar karte hai.."

Sunaina angrily jerked his hand, "my foot pyaar karte hai... donon mein koi comparison nahin hai... Sameer ko dekha hai.. the most handsome boy in college aur voh Naina... kahin stand nahin karti usake saamne.."

Karthik turned his face annoyingly like iska kuchh nahin ho sakta.. isaki soch badalne mein pata nahin kitna waqt lagega.." 

Sunaina thinking, "Sameer jaise handsome ladke ko toh meri just hot ladki deserve karti hai bus aur usse apna boyfriend toh mein bana kar hi rahungi..."
