They both remained silent sitting next to each other lost in their own thoughts... one was praying to stay away from him whereas other one was making plans to make her his own...

Bell rings and all students started coming back to class... Swapree and Mundit entered and saw Naina and Sameer sitting together but not talking... they all were expecting them to become friends again but Sameer's gloomy face shows that Naina didn't agree...

Preeti came forward to sit next to Naina, but Sameer was sitting at her place...

Sameer requested Preeti with a smile, "Preeti can you please sit with someone else... I want to sit with Naina... with my new friend.. sorry sorry my classmate..." he stressed on his last word to irritate her.

Naina replied instantly, "no... I told you that we can't be friends... don't force me aur tum jaao yahaan se... Preeti tu yahin baith..." she said looking at Preeti to not to leave her alone...

Sameer replied naughtily, "sorry lekin mein kahin nahin ja raha... aur anyways you said na that we are classmate so, what's the problem... classmates can sit together in one bench... I am sure I am not breaking any rule..." he said making the cute baby face to melt her...

All others keep on watching their nok jhonk surprisingly suppressing their laughter seeing Sameer's antics to convince her...

Naina got frustrated, "nahin mana kiya naa maine... tum jaao apni seat par nahin toh mein chali jaaungi yahaan se..."

Sameer replied stubbornly like a kid, "jaake dikhao... mein vahaan bhi aa jaaunga... vaise bhi mujhe hataye bina bahaar kaise jaaogi... bolo bolo..." he raised his brows mischievously

Naina gave an angry look to him asked, "tum maanoge nahin..."

Sameer innocently shook his head denying straightly, "agar tum friendship karogi toh sochunga kyunki mein sirf apne dosto ki baat hi manta hun, classmates ki nahin..." he teased her again

Naina about to say something but professor enters, and all settled to their seats... Swati Preeti sits on back seat of Samaina, and Munna Pandit sits on second row...

Sameer remains seated with her in next two classes and staring him frequently which keeps her annoyed...

Sameer leans towards her and slowly said in her ear, "please maan jao aur accept kar lo na meri friendship... varna mujhe pata nahin kya kya karna padega tumhein manane ke liye... tumhein pata nahin mein kitna ziddi hun... mein sirf shakal se hi bhola bhala hua, varna..." to lighten her mood, he further said...

Yun Udaas mat baitho, ajnabee se lagte ho,

Pyaari baatein nahin karna hai toh, chalo jhagda hi kar lo...

Naina stays quiet and tried to concentrate in class... Sunaina also looks at Sameer and Naina sitting together and chatting and fumes in anger

After classes over... they all start to leave but Sameer was still sitting there only...

Sameer, "Preeti, please tum log thodi der hamara baahar wait karoge... mujhe Naina se kuchh baat karni hai... akele mein..."

Preeti looking towards Naina feels hesitate, "par Sameer voh Naina..." she knew Naina will gets more upset if she leaves her alone...

Sameer assures her, "don't worry Preeti mein koi anjaan nahin hoon so you can trust me for your sister... vaise bhi jab tak mein hoon you don't need to worry about her... I will take care of her..."

Swati holds her hand and drag outside, "chal Preeti, hum baahar chalte hai... Naina jaldi aa jana Sameer ke saath..."

Naina tried to stop them leaving her alone with him, "please ruko na, mujhe nahin rehna yahaan..." but they all leave her alone with Sameer in class..

Sameer turned to her, "Naina... dekho I am sorry ... mujhe tumhein yun force karna par raha hai lekin tum meri baat bhi toh nahin maan rahi..." he continued making cute puppy face, "ab tumhein apna dost banane ke liye agar mujhe thodi si jabardasti karni bhi pade toh voh galat thode hi hai... kyun sahi kaha na maine..."

Naina keeps looking down and suddenly tears rolled to her cheeks... Sameer was expecting her anger or denial like earlier but shocked seeing her crying, feels more hurt...

Sameer to convince her said softly, "Naina please ro mat na... dekho hum koi anjaan nahin hai... maana hum kabhi ek dusre ke itne paas nahin the phir bhi strangers nahin hai... phir aaj kya hua hai.. kyun hum friends nahin ban sakte, baaki sab bhi toh tumhare dost hai... kya mein is laayak bhi nahin ki tum mujhe apna dost samajh sako..."

Naina wipes her tears replied, "Sameer tum nahin samjhoge aur shayad mein tumhein nahin samjha sakti par please mujhe jaane do... mujhe iss baare mein koi baat nahin karni aur Preeti baahar wait kar rahi hai..."

Sameer melts seeing her pleading and stood up to give her space to leave... she picked her bag taking her crutch to get support to stand... she was about to move out from desk hurriedly when due to less space she fumbled and about to fall when Sameer hold her from shoulder to support... they have an intense eye lock being so close to each other... few moments later, Naina realize and move out to go...

Sameer didn't stop her this time and quietly followed her... they came out where all their friends were waiting for them...

Naina avoiding others, "chal Preeti... late ho raha hai..."

Preeti looks towards Sameer, but he assures her from his eyes that all well... Sameer follow them silently till college gate until they got rickshaw and girls left safely... then they all move to their house also...

Naina was all lost and quiet whole time and didn't talk to Swati & Preeti also... they reached home and went straight to change in their room.....

Naina sits on bed and was keep on staring point blank.. Preeti came and sat beside her...

Preeti: Naina, tu theek hai na..... sorry voh Sameer...

Naina suddenly burst into tears, "kyun Preeti kyun... kyun kar raha hai voh yeh sab kuchh ... ab kyun jab sab kuchh khatm ho gaya hai... kuchh nahin hai mere paas usse dene ke liye..."

She hiccups and continues, "voh... voh samjhata kyun nahin ki hum kabhi dost nahin ban sakte... yeh sab karke voh mere liye mushkile bada raha hai... kitni mushkil se maine apne dil ko manaya tha... par usane aa kar sab barbaad kar diya... mein nahin handle kar pa rahi yeh sab... please Preeti, samjha usse.. kuchh kar..."

Preeti hugged her tightly to calm her and tears keep rolling out from their eyes... she wanted to comfort her revealing Sameer's true feelings but since he had taken promise, she remain silent... maybe he is right that Naina is not in state of accepting their relation right now... after lunch Preeti force Naina to sleep for some time to keep her mind calm.....

Sameer reached home with Munna Pandit... he was quiet throughout the way and didn't say anything...

Munna asked impatiently, "yaar ab batayega kya baat hui... kuchh baat aage badi.. kuchh boli voh.. jaate waqt toh bahut chup si thi aur tu bhi kuchh nahin bol raha..."

Sameer remains silent for few moments and suddenly hugged Munna crying hard...

Munna asked worriedly, "kya hua Sameer... kuchh toh bata... Naina ne kuchh kaha kya"

Sameer, "yaar.. voh voh sach mein bahut takleef mein hai, jitna humne socha tha usase baut jyada..... usane kuchh nahin kaha par usaki udaas aankhen.. usaka udaas chehra... laga jaise kitna dard hai unmein.. mein nahin dekh sakta usse aise.. aisa laga jaise mere andar kuchh toot raha tha...."

Pandit tried to console him, "dekh Sameer, usse thoda waqt de.. aur aaj jis tarah tu ne usake saamne apne aap ko sambhala aaj, voh bahut jaroori tha... tu hi toot jaayega toh usey kaise sambhalega... yeh sab itna aasaan nahin hai lekin tujhe himmat rakhni hogi apni Naina ke liye"

Sameer, "yaar usake saamne mein hi janata hun kaise khud ko roka maine.. bahut mushkil tha, par pyar se ya zid se kaise bhi karke usse samjhana hoga... dobara jeena sikhana hi hoga... voh toh jaise patthar si ho gayi hai apne saare zazbaat apne dil mein chhupa kar... lekin mein aur usey aise nahin rehne de sakta... usey mujhe dosti karni hi hogi" he wiped his tears smiling confidently

Munna patted on his back, "yeh hui na baat mere sher, bas isi himmat ko kabhi chhodna mat... chal isi baat par khaana khaate hai..." they all smile making plans to get her back in life...

After an hour, Sameer decides to call Preeti to find about her... he knew she must be upset by his stubbornness... he dialed her number and luckily Preeti picked up..

Sameer, "Hi Preeti... mein Sameer bol raha hun... ek minute baat kar sakte hai..."

Preeti got surprised, "Sameer... tumhare paas hamara number kaise aaya..." she looked around her getting relief no one was around

Sameer (smiling): Yaar voh lambi story hai... voh chhodo kisi aur din bataunga.....

Preeti: okay.. bolo kya hua.. kya baat karni hai tumhein mujhse... mujhe toh laga tum Naina se baat karna chahoge" she said teasingly to make him smile

Sameer smiled, "nahin Preeti abhi us mein thoda time hai... lekin jaldi hi voh din bhi aayega ki humein ek dusre se baat karne ke liye kisi aur ki jarurat nahin hogi... vaise mujhe puchhna tha ki Naina kaisi hai... voh theek toh hai na... bahut ro rahi thi kya ghar aa kar bhi..."

Preeti got shocked asking, "ek minute... tumhein kaise pata voh ro rahi thi... tumne hamare pichhe ab jasoos bhi chhod rakhe hai kya..."

Sameer, "iska matlab voh sach mein ro rahi thi... dekho Preeti mujhe pata hai aaj jo bhi maine jabardasti kiya usse voh pareshaan ho gayi hai.. par isi bahane usane mujhse baat toh ki, kuchh toh boli... par please tum usake saath hi rehna.. usey akela bilkul mat chhodna... voh sabse jyaada tum par bharosa karti hai aur usey tumhari bohot jarurat hai apne dil ki baat karne ke liye"

Preeti assures him, "don't worry... tum nahin kehte phir bhi mein usake saath hi rehti... actually voh bahut pareshaan thi toh maine usse sula diya taaki thodi der uska dil aur dimaag shaant ho jaye... tum chinta mat karo..."

Sameer, "tum ho usake saath that's a big relief for me"

Preeti, "par Sameer, are you sure about all this... tum usey dukh toh nahin doge na... voh nahin sah payegi... please..." she pleads knowing how much Sameer effect on her sister...

Sameer, "Preeti, please bharosa rakho mujh par... sab theek ho jayega... shayad thoda waqt lage par tum sab ho na mere saath... aakhir Naina ke bina yeh Sameer bhi jee nahin payega..."

Preeti: achchha chalo ab mein rakhti hun... kal milte hai... Bye

Sameer, "thanks, Preeti aur uska dhyan rakhna.... bye.. see youtomorrow..." and they both disconnect the phone feeling contented that now Nainawill never be alone.
