Shehnaaz was sitting on the swing sadly. Even her tears dried as she had already cried so much. She was thinking about the incident that happened today. She was ready to bear Sidharth's hate for the sin she did. But today Sidharth was hating her for something which she didn't do. She didn't wear Sana's saree and mangalsutra, neither she went close to Sidharth after last night. It was like somebody made her do all this. Somebody who was with them in this house but couldn't be seen by anyone.

Shehnaaz was moving the swing backward and forward while being lost in her thoughts. But she was unaware that there was someone who got extremely angry seeing her sitting on the swing.

She went towards her to harm her but again stopped seeing something. Shehnaaz was wearing the amulet in her arm. After today's incident, she couldn't take risk. It didn't matter if she believed in it or not, she wore it for her own safety.

The shadow left from there like a sudden blow of wind.

Soon Shehnaaz felt someone's presence who sat beside her and started applying ointment on her right cheek. She hissed in pain .

Sidharth stopped hearing and asked, "Dard hua?"

"Bohut." Replied Shehnaaz with an emotionless face without even looking at him.

Sidharth felt bad and again started applying the ointment.

"Aur bhi dard hoga Shehnaaz, agar tum aise hi mujhse pyaar karti rahogi." He said to which Shehnaaz looked at him.

Sidharth took a deep breath and said further, "Kaal raat jab tum mere paas aayi, main itna drunk tha ki tumhari jagah Sana ko imagine kar raha tha. Paata hi nahi chala kab anjaane mein maine itna galat kadam utha liya. Haan, tumhare liye sayad yeh galat nahi hoga kyu ki tum meri biwi ho. Tumhe lag raha hoga ki yeh tumhara haq hai. Iss hi liye abhi kuch der pehle tumne yeh sab kiya. Par Shehnaaz, koi bhi haq zabardasti nahi milta. Kaal jo galti hui woh main wapas se nahi daudhane wala. I know as a wife tumhari kuch expections hongi. Tum chahogi ki tumhara bhi husband baki husbands jaisa ho, tumse pyaar kare. But I'm helpless. Main kabhi tumse pyaar nahi kar sakta. For me, it will be always Sana. So if you want, you can end this forced marriage right here. Tum mujhe divorce deke apni ek nayi zindagi suru kar sakti ho, kisi aise insaan ke saath jo tumhe sahi maine mein pyaar de, patni hone ka haq de. Mere paas........ Tumhe dene ke liye kuch bhi nahi hai."

Shehnaaz suddenly removed his hand stopping him from applying ointment.

"Kuch zakhm aise hote hai Sidharth jin par marham lagane se koi asar nahi hota. Woh guzarte waqt ke saath apne aap bhar jaate hai. Isliye aap ko abhi yeh sab karne ki zaroorat nahi hai." She said.

Sidharth looked at her and said, "Shehnaaz sorry. Main tum par haath nahi uthana chahta tha. Uss waqt tum jaisa kar rahi thi, maine gusse mein aa ke......"

Before he could finish, Shehnaaz said, "Aap ko divorce chahiye na? Mujhe pehle se hi paata tha aap aisa kuch kahoge. Isliye aaj subah hi main lawyer se mil ke aayi hoon. Aur saath mein divorce papers bhi le kar aayi hoon."

Saying that Shehnaaz stood up and went towards her room while Sidharth followed her.

Entering the room, Shehnaaz took the divorce papers and gave it to Sidharth.

"Maine already sign kar diya hai. Aap ka jab mann ho, aap sign kar dena. Main aap ki zindagi se chali jaaungi. Main yaaha reh ke aap ko aur takleef nahi dena chahti."

Saying that Shehnaaz started leaving from there. Sidharth couldn't understand what to say. He kept looking at the divorce papers.

Shehnaaz suddenly stopped at the door and said, "Ek aur baat. Abhi kuch der pehle jo harkat maine kiyi, woh intentionally nahi tha. Mujhe toh thik se yaad bhi nahi maine kiya kya tha. It was like mere body aur mind pe kisi ne puri tarah se control kar liya tha. Sayad aap yakeen na karo par...... Yeh sach hai."

Shehnaaz went away leaving Sidharth confused. He found the matter suspicious. He didn't know why he was feeling that Shehnaaz was saying the truth. Was there really something wrong in this house?

Sidharth went outside the room to talk to Shehnaaz about this matter when they both heard the ringing of the doorbell.

"Iss waqt kaun aaya hoga?" Said Shehnaaz and went to open the door.

As soon as she opened the door, she became surprised.

"Mummy! Papa!" She said excitedly and hugged them tightly.

"Kaisi hai meri Bacchi?" Asked Parminder Ji being emotional.

"Main thik hoon Mummy. Aap dono thik ho?" Asked Shehnaaz to which her parents nodded in yes.

Sidharth also came there and took their blessings.

"Kaise ho Sidharth Beta? Meri Beti zyada pareshan toh nahi kar rahi na?" Asked Santokh Ji to which Sidharth smiled and nodded in no.

"Sirf unse hi gale miloge dono? Arrey hum bhi aaye hai."

Hearing the voice, Sidharth and Shehnaaz again became surprised. Sidharth's parents were also standing there.

"What a surprise! Aap log bhi aa gaye?" Said Sidharth excitedly and  hugged his parents. Shehnaaz also hugged them and took their blessings.

Then they all came inside the house and sat on the sofa.

"Aap sab ne baataya nahi ki aap aa rahe ho." Said Shehnaaz.

"Agar baata dete toh surprise dene ka maza rehta kya?" Asked Rita Ji.

"Humne socha ki itne mahine ho gaye. Shaadi ke baad na tum dono Amravati gaye, aur na hi hum dono idhar Mumbai aaye. Toh hum aa gaye tumse milne." Said Ashok Ji.

"Aur jab yeh log aa rahe the, toh hum kyu peeche rahe? Isliye sab ek saath aa gaye." Said Santokh Ji.

Sidharth and Shehnaaz laughed hearing that.

"Bilkool sahi kiya. Hum dono bhi aap sab ko bohut miss kar rahe the." Said Sidharth.

Shehnaaz looked at the clock and said, "Accha aap sab fresh ho li jiye. Hum tab tak dinner ke arrangements....."

"Koi zaroorat nahi hai." Said Rita Ji stopping her. "Main jaanti hoon iss waqt sabke liye dinner ke arrangements karna impossible hai. Isliye hum sab bahar se khana order kar lenge."

Shehnaaz smiled hearing that and said, "Thik hai. Aisa hi hoga. Sidharth aap upar wale room mein Maa Baba ka saman rakh di jiye. Aur Mummy Papa aap mere saath aaiye. Jab tak aap idhar ho, mere room mein reh lena."

Shehnaaz was taking her parents to her room when Rita Ji said, "Ek minute! Tera room matlab? Sidharth toh uss room mein rehta hai. Baki ke do rooms guests ke liye hai. Toh yeh room tera kaise hua?"

Shehnaaz's expression changed hearing that while her parents also became confused. She looked at Sidharth who indicated him not to say the truth.

Shehnaaz smiled forcefully and said, "Woh actually, iss room mein hawa aur dhoop zyada aate hai isliye free time mein main yaaha aa ke books padhti hoon aur office ke kaam wagera bhi yaaha karti hoon kabhi kabhi."

Their families were not fully convinced but they believed her words.

Then Shehnaaz took her parents to that room while Sidharth took his parents to the other room.

Entering the room, Parminder Ji immediately closed the door and said, "Shehnaaz, humein tujhse baat karni hai."

Shehnaaz knew what they wanted to talk about.

She tried to avoid the topic and said, "Mummy baatein toh hoti rahengi. Pehle aap dono fresh....."

"Baat ko ghuma mat." Said Santokh Ji sternly making Shehnaaz quiet.

Parminder Ji hold her hands and said, "Sach baata na Beta. Tum dono khush ho na ek dusre ke saath? Humara zaldbaazi mein tum dono ka shaadi karana koi galat faisla toh nahi tha na?"

Shehnaaz sighed and said smiling, "Mummy aisa kuch bhi nahi hai. Main bohut khush hoon yaaha."

"Aur Sidharth?" Asked Santokh Ji. "Woh tera khayal rakh raha hai na?"

"Haan Papa. Sidharth mera itna khayal rakhte hai jitna..... Jitna aap dono ne bhi nahi rakha."

Parminder Ji smacked her head and said, "Hogayi humari burai suru?"

"Mazak tha Mummy." Said Shehnaaz laughing.

Parminder Ji smiled and said, "Dekh kar accha laga ki tu khush hai. Bhagwaan ne ek Beti toh chhin liya. Par kam se kam meri dusri Beti toh sahi salamat hai."

Shehnaaz saw that her mother became emotional and hugged her tightly to console her.

Meanwhile...

"Toh tu sach mein khush hai na Shehnaaz ke saath?" Asked Rita Ji again to confirm.

"Haan Maa. Khush hai hum dono." Replied Sidharth. "Baata toh diya itni baar. Aur kya karu aap dono ko yakeen dilane ke liye?"

"Kuch karne ki zaroorat nahi hai." Said Ashok Ji. "Bas humari Bahu ko humesha khush rakhna. Uski taraf se koi sikayat nahi aani chahiye."

"Tum dono ki shaadi jab hui uss waqt haalat bohut alag the. Tera humse gussa hona bhi jayaz tha. Par Shehnaaz bohut pyaari Bacchi hai Sidharth. Inn sab mein uski koi galti nahi hai. Uska dil kabhi mat dukhana." Said Rita Ji.

Sidharth couldn't reply and gave a slight smile.

After sometime, Sidharth and Shehnaaz came to their room.

"Dekho Shehnaaz, Maa Baba baar baar ek hi sawal puchh rahe hai ki hum saath dono khush hai yaa nahi. Maine unhe samjha toh diya hai ki hum dono khush hai. Par unhe paata nahi chalna chahiye ki....."

"Ki hum dono alag hone wale hai." Said Shehnaaz without letting him finish. "Paata hai mujhe. Mere bhi Mummy Papa yeh sawal puchh rahe the. Maine unhe kaise bhi kar ke convince kar diya hai. Humein abhi bas apni families ke saamne bohut normally behave karna hai jis se unhe humara sach paata na chale."

"Exactly." Replied Sidharth. "Main divorce se pehle unhe pareshan nahi karna chahta. Ek baar procedures suru ho jaaye, hum khud unhe baata denge."

Shehnaaz nodded in yes.

"Aur aaj raat humein iss hi room mein adjust karna hoga." He said further.

Shehnaaz looked at the bed and remembered about the previous night. This room and this bed were the witnesses of their passionate love making.

Shehnaaz immediately closed her eyes. She didn't want to think about it again and again.

"Koi naa. Main neeche bistar laga lungi." Said Shehnaaz after sometime.

"You don't have to." Said Sidharth.

"Sidharth please. Main nahi chahti aap ko koi pareshani ho."

"Nahi hogi. Aur waise bhi humari families 4-5 din ruk rahe hai. Tum roz neeche nahi so sakti. Hum adjust kar lenge."

Shehnaaz didn't say anything else.

Later, in front of their families they acted as if everything was okay between them. They also started thinking that they were happy in this marriage and felt relieved.

At night, everyone went to their room while Sidharth and Shehnaaz stayed at Sidharth's room.

They both were sleeping at the corners of the bed as they wanted to stay away from each other as much as they could. Earlier, they didn't feel awkward while sharing bed. But the previous night changed everything between them. They could never be the same with each other again.

While thinking all this, they both fell asleep.

Next morning...

Parminder Ji was making the bed when suddenly her eyes fell on some papers kept on the table.

"Yeh papers kaal raat se idhar padhe hai. Yeh dono bhi na! Office ke important papers ko sambhal ke rakhna chahiye. Aise yaaha waha thodi rakhte hai."

Thinking that Parminder Ji took the papers. She was about to call Shehnaaz but then stopped noticing it carefully.

"Divorce papers?" Uttered Parminder and became shocked.
